TravelArik Shouldn't Be An Airline by OsamaB(op): 8:15am On Mar 11, 2015
I heard about the ministers delayed flight, oh well he was lucky they offer refreshments... I have been on the Abuja Airport since yesterday for a 3pm flight. The flight was rescheduled to 5PM the 8am this morning... I have been informéd again that the flight has been rescheduled again to 11...ARIK should consider running something small, maybe mini buses to it's destination because right now, I doubt if they are capable of running an airline... Please note that not compensation or refreshments have been offered..Consumer Protection Council come to rescue.
PoliticsBuhari Will Fight Oil Thieves by OsamaB(op): 9:10am On Feb 18, 2015
Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, on Tuesday, said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), if elected, would fight the people stealing Nigeria’s oil and arrest the worsening state of the nation’s economy.

Ahmed decried the worsening state of the economy and the attendant socio-economic woes confronting the citizens.

The governor said it was sad that oil theft had been on the increase under the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

He spoke during the Joint Kwara Labour Congress governorship debate/interactive session with political parties and their candidates in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Ahmed said that many states and local government councils in the country had been finding it difficult to meet up with their recurrent expenditure, including payment of their workers’ salaries.

He said, “We know that Nigeria, as it were, our allocations come from the sales of crude oil. Nigeria is expected to sell 2.5million barrels of crude oil per day.

“These monies are expected to accrue at the end of every month into the federation account. When we do a budget benchmark of $80 per barrel and when crude oil is sold for $100 per barrel, it means that we have excess of $20 per barrel, which we should be keeping in the Excess Crude Account.

“But instead of 2.5million barrels per day, what we hear is that Nigeria sells barely about 1.5million barrel per day. We hear that the other portion is being stolen. The implication of this is that the amount of money that is accruable to the Federation Account is short. Once it is short, it means that the money that is also distributable to the three tiers of government is also short.

“When I came in 2011, the monthly allocation to Kwara State was about N3.1bn on monthly basis. By the end of 2012, it has dropped to N2.9bn. Local government councils were collecting about N2.8bn monthly.

“But suddenly the theft of crude oil increased. Our allocation began to drop from N3.1bn to N2.8bn; N2.6bn to N2.1bn and our monthly commitment is still at about N2.8bn. Local governments had been having a drop from N2.8bn to N1.7bn.”

He however said that Kwara had been able to keep afloat as a result of his government’s financial ingenuity.

Ahmed therefore urged the electorate to vote for Buhari, saying he would “frontally confront and defeat bunkerers and other oil thieves.”

He urged registered voters who had not collected their permanent voter cards to collect them so that they could vote for the APC candidates.

The budget kind of looks extravagant and Socialist in nature..did the author of this consider inflation... I know we want change but N53trillion in four years and the fact that it seems to be a budget of stomach infrastructure may end up making Nigerians even more lazy

If you think Nigeria cannot afford N53 trillion over 4 years, then you are being naive.

The missing $20 billion alone equals N4 trillion and that is just from one out of many corrupt government agencies. You cannot imagine how our resources have been mismanaged by PDP. This is the obvious reason they are scared of GMB.

That said, APC will create enabling environment for businesses to thrive and thereby create more jobs. All the jobs do not necessarily have to come from the government

Is it still $20b?

Whoever think that the hands of God is devoid of the
forthcoming election in Nigeria should better have a rethink.
When the month of February was tagged feBUHARI by
Nigerians, the thought of the cynics was that it's just another

Saï Buhari is the answer to that question because I know every one of us has something within.

Does this mean 0% créativity?

Does the fact that that Buhari failed mathematics mean that some of us born in a time when falling maths, english and 3 other subject was failure ?

Maybe I should ask, do the people of Nigeria know that change could mean < or >?, perhaps let us remember when asking for change when we haven't contributed any thing to the development of Nigeria that if life was that simple, we can go into any shop, supermarket or local market , and ask for CHANGE Even if we dont buy or investissement or have any général contribution to the development of the business.....

P.S: I am not in support of any party so PDP/APC, hold your peace.

DeCritique:
I knew... I just knew it from the very beginning. He was filling in his form and he just put in the results of his WAEC and then tendered an affidavit!

He was asked to bring forward his certificate and it took him almost two weeks to present it.

He said he would hold a press conference on Wednesday 21st January 2015 at 9:00am but till 6:00pm, he was no where to be found.

Later in the wee hours of yesterday, forged documents that claimed to be his statement of result was awash on the net.

We know their tricks. Nigerians cannot be deceived!!
