Okay house, after reading all the comments I decided to ask my sister inlaw about the SSN. I went to her that I was worried that his card came without an envelope and got a shocker...she said what do I want to use the envelope for? I said SSN is private information and why was it opened, she said they opened it because they could. I lost it and told her respect was reciprocal and it was wrong. She turned it into fight and asked me to leave her house. The husband came and intervened that they held on to it because it was delicate, dumbest reason ever. Unfortunately, my husband is scared of his sister and not saying much. I am so mad right now, I never wanted to stay with his family but didn't have a better option. Just looking to get his visa and return home asap
please just find another place to stay immediately(the world does not stop because she gave you a place to stay)and ensure you report the case ASAP

So the girl returned to the house at night, believing that we had all travelled and hoping to get her credentials and other things she left behind which I had moved into a room and locked up. of course she didn't have access to the house and was held back by the security till my husband was alerted.

he took her to the police station where she was interrogated for hours.(note that he had to pay for this oh).
that's just the highest level of rubbish i av ever heard,u av to pay the police to do their jobs,i cant just comprehend.

the goatish girl has to produce that money

[quote author=TheLeakyTribe post=43910030]goodmorning everyone. so I'm travelling today. last week was crazy, ended up buying dollars at the black market rate. haven't been able to update on this page sef, I'm behind like 5 pages.

Anyway I want to sound a warning to everyone so what happened to me won't happen to anyone else. Let's be extra careful, not after trying hard in this economy to get dollars one would now tell my kind of story. it's not your portion IJN.

I had a help that was so useful to me, she did so much that I would always sing her praises to anyone who cares to listen. For this trip I registered her for a catering course and promised to keep paying her (N25k a month plus free accomodation, feeding and personal effects as well as medicals when the need arises). I treated that girl like a sister.

long story short, this week my toddler who I'm travelling with has been sick so I've been in and out of hospital and doing all sorts, wasn't able to even follow up with bank hence having to buy dollars at black market rate. Yesterday I took him for a final checkup and other running around in preparation for my trip and she was home helping me get my things ready.

this morning her phone was switched off, I asked her why, she said it packed up, I asked her to bring it let me check what's wrong, she left and I didn't see her again. she just walked out and took a bike cos if she had carried load the estate security would have stopped her.

she left with my Dollars in her pocket. 20 minutes later I noticed she had taken the money. how she found it is beyond me, she must have really searched.

please pray for me, bought 1k now to go with and have money in an account there but still I'm not myself.

Let's be extra careful everyone please. be mindful of whos around you. [/quote

so sorry you had to go through that, but please let your hubby follow up with it,i think you should get the agent that brought her arrested ASAP,he/she would definitely know how or who can locate her, just take it easy more millions coming your by God's grace

@ LadyGuinivere, thanks for your response but I think your answer was more or less saying my questions were stupid. If you don't understand the logic behind my question, I think you should just have ignored it. For instance on the airline question, different airline with different customer service that makes the flight more pleasant than the other. I read someone asked what the rate for moneygram at unity bank was. Why didn't the person just Google it? Becos he/she trust to get a firsthand info from here.

Even if i am stupid, I am not stupid enough not to know that I need to do my research and homework but nothing beats experience. Alot of people have asked questions about hospitals accommodation that they probably can easily find on Google but they chose to ask it here cos they will get first hand info about them and even probably more recent one at that.

Just curious, when you wanted info on this platform, did you read through the entire over 1000pages including part 1 &2?

Really don't know you from anywhere and wld have appreciated your silence than the response you.
the answers to most of your questions are in the previous pages, with different scenarios, you just have to take the time to go through it,which i also did,and i asked for the rate of money gram at unity bank because when i checked first bank's website it was 197,i raced to firstbank i was told it was 283

Dear moms! On PTA search, try Unity Bank. Just open an account with them, fund the account and fill the PTA application form. You will be called when they have. Knowing someone there is an advantage. You can get the PTA within a week of application if you know someone there. They also send Money Gram!

Yes she's breaking out on the face. I stopped using Cetaphil on her face instead I use Eucerine. And I use Coconut oil on her head (original). Her doctor said I should stop using soap (Dove white) on her face too. The rashes just keep re-occuring. I Even stopped Dairies in case it might be die to allergy. Really getting tired
i think you should try oilaum bath additive,my son also had alot of rashes as a baby, the doctor recommended it and it worked

Hello all, I applied for US visa in January but was denied, I reapplied and thank God my visa was approved today

Here is my transcript
VO: Good morning and why are you going to the US?
Me: to have my baby
VO: Can I have your documentation
Me: I gave her emails correspondent with doctor and hospital, receipt of payment to my doctor, my hubby’s bank statement and my bank statement
She studied the documents then she kept looking at my own bank statement then I had to interrupt her that my hubby will be paying the bills cos bulk of the money was in my hubby’s account, but she keep studying my bank statement, I was just praying.

VO: You are going to Houston but the last time you were here you said you were going to ohio
Me: yes I was planning to go to Ohio, but I got a cheaper option in Houston and my doctor in Houston was able to provide me with all the documentation I needed, but in ohio my cousin registered on my behalf but I was not able to get the necessary documentation.

VO: I asked because if you are seen at another POE, you will be turned back
Me: I understand, I’m not going to ohio I’m going to Houston

VO: where will you be staying?
Me: I have made reservation to stay at(I was handing her my email confirmation then she cut me off and said I don’t need to see I was just curious), then she kept on typing

VO: I this your first child
me: no I have a 2yr old

VO: will your son and husband be joining you
me: I will be traveling with only my husband and my son will not be traveling cos he has to go to school

VO: you visa has been approved
Me: I did not even hear the other things she said, I was too excited

Just to say a big thank you to everyone, and people who posted their transcript it really help, next step is hustle for dollars. smiley smiley wink

Hello everyone
I am a newbie, this forum is just wonderful I have been able to learn a lot from people’s experience dating back to 2010. I applied a couple of weeks ago and was not successful, after going through all the post I don’t blame the embassy for not approving my application. I am planning to apply again and want to make sure I have everything in place.
I have narrowed my choice down to hospital of providence el paso and Houston North west, I want to know if anyone has an idea of affordable accommodation close to hospital of providence el paso and Houston North west? Please!!!
