It was so bad that I'd already put in my application for visa extension to the authorities yet my former manager stands up in the team and announces my imminent departure while I'm seated right there! LOL

I can go on and on but I don't want to derail the thread.

I conquered though. I remained in that job for longer than any of them anticipated. I remained because if I left, I wouldn't hv gotten another job with my passport tied up with the authorities.I remained until my passport came out then I resigned from that company. I moved onto my last job in that country before my post study visa ran out and I returned to Naija.

I did that with boldness knowing the law was on my side the entire time. And I am very happy I played right. If I had done anything shady, I wouldn't have the boldness to try FSW today.

So chin up bro. As long as you stand right with the law you'll be fine.

Thank you my visa is due for renewal too so I know that’s why they are unleashing extreme hostility at me to discourage me

Well, same here in Asia especially if you're under Asian employers.. No matter how big or small the biznez is, they are not bothered about the wellness of their employees & some foreigners are following that kind of mentality as well

You work hard & sometimes if u dont know how to exercise ur rights u will end up underpaid..

If I was in Canada I would have changed employers since but here it’s like I’m at their mercy then the burden of having to proof your 30x better than the average Oyibo can be daunting

It's not easy when you face hostility at work.
However, i advise you to wear a smile on your face all the time, pretend as if the problems don't exist and when your PPR comes, you'll have the last laugh.
It will definitely end in praise sooner than you expect.

As far as I know IELST invigilation is strict, no jokes, no room for cheating.Except ist different in some centres.

I visited BC for my result TRF copy and was informed that my IELTS result has been witheld for reassessment.
Please does anyone have an idea of this? and how long it takes for them to release results to us, as they said they also witheld some other candidates result not just mine. I sat for the exams on 21 April.
I actually planned applying for remark as I was not satisfied with my result.

But why rush it when you know your ECA isn’t complete
Don’t do anything until you have your IELTS & ECA

I used only my lecturing work experience in employment history, so I submitted documents for that only. All others went to personal history.

I submitted almost all except for tax documents and account statements showing salary deposits. These were replaced with Letter of explanation by the university VC and myself as I was paid in cash.

Ordered GCMS note 3rd of March, received notes 8th of April. File had not been touched at LVO
ADR: 20th April submitted 29th April 2018
IP2: Same week
PPR: 10th May 2018

Indeed God answers prayers.

For POF we used one year joint fixed deposit account belonging to spouse and I. Didn't attach any statements of accounts.

ADR was for
1.additional proof of employment.; salary deposits in accounts, payslips, tax documents, university literature showing my faculty and name e. t. c
2. Explanation and documented proof of accrual of funds in fixed deposit. And last six months statement of accounts.

For work experience I used my Lecturing experience at a university in Cotonou. I was paid in cash throughout and tax was deducted before salaries were paid so I didn't have tax documents. I submitted one year payslips signed and stamped by the VC. The VC wrote a letter to also explain cash payments and tax deductions.
Submitted deed of assignments for property sold to show accrual of funds. The Six months account statement I submitted had a balance of #1,940. I explained in my LOE that I have been unemployed so do not have money in the account.

NB:
-I applied as unemployed because I stopped working because my faculty was closed down in February 2017.
- I didn't submit Benin republic PCC just wrote a letter of explanation that Benin doesn't Issue PCC to non citizens.

The wait was excruciating but I am thankful that it has ended in praise.

For all those still waiting for PPR just hold on it will surely come. Long or short timeline PPR is PPR.

May good IELTS results, ITA, PPR, COPR fall on all who are expectant.
