Good afternoon sir, you're highly welcome sir. Both play a significant role in the growth of a dog. But my bias is towards quantity. If the quantity is low and it's given regularly, the growth would be retarded because the dog won't get the sufficient nutrients it needs for growth. On the other hand if the quantity of feed is normal but not given in a consistent manner, there are chances that the dog would have catabolized some of it energy reserve hence slowed growth and also may make the dog predisposed to disease condition.
