Lalakas:
How far with this issue?

I heard the property is worth 10m now.

We have one plot there. I want to sell off if possible. 5m is cool for me.
Can we discuss this further?

While not condoning misdemeanour in whatever guise, one certain thing you can't take away from Brabus irrespective of all that had transpired between him and his clients is the fact that the quality of his work is superb.
We should not throw away the baby with the bathwater.
Brabus is still my preferred builder any day!
For him to have delivered the ile-oluji project up to the stage he parted with his client for a little over 20m!!!!!!
despite the scope of the project, I really commend the quality of work.
Even the much idolised Mandela never claimed to be a saint.
My advice to Brabus is that he should always identify his rule of engagement on any project and everything should be in black and white.
At least you have proved what you can do now! Learn how to handle project management especially finance.
State from the word go, what your fees are and how you want to be paid if you are not handling the project 100%.
I pray this chance you have now will be well utilised.

In as much as I won't want to be judgemental on the Brabus/Client saga, I honestly wish that there relationship will not end on a sour note. Please try and resolve your differences offline - this project is a sight to behold! And I don't think it will be Ok for the parties to part at this point when the project is almost concluded.
However, going forward I suggest that rules of engagement for projects on this forum should be well spelt out in black and white, well signed and strictly adhered to during the building process.
I don't think under 25m so far expended on this project is a bad deal oooooo considering the scope of the project. However Brabus should try and resolve the issue of 1.7million with his client.

What a pity! How I wish things did not degenerate to this level.
Anyway let the ile-oluji owner post the building when its completed.

Sorry about the assailant. It's simply the case of another bent mind ! Pele oooooooo.
Things are beginning to fall in shape at ile oluji where a befitting 'resting place' is being
prepared for the dead and living. LOL
