lordm:The same governor who said sometime ago that " I am happily married woman" Lol! |
press9jatv:Op, Delta ought not to be on that list. The state has conducted LG elections and even before the elections, caretaker committees were not set up to manage the affairs of the LG councils. |
ganisucks: WhiteWood:The best she would have done was to stand up during the rendition of the anthem but refuse to sing it to register her so called protest. |
[quote author=siofra post=130011271]All the men above me are dumb. You want to eat your cake and have it. You want sex before marriage, yet you want a virgin. You people are very stupid. All I know is that 80% of you will not marry virgins whether you like it or not. Remain chaste until marriage....mba Marry as a virgin....mba Be Celibate....MBA You people are very stupid 😂 Can't you make your point without cursing? Haha! |
Massiveglory:You may be correct there, but bro we are talking about sexual offences here. Besides, what you are talking about cannot happen in Lagos because na their oga order the shooting if you know what I mean! |
naija4life247:All these na grammar and there is no need to drag in another person into the matter. Just produce your certificate, shikena. If they are lost as claimed, the law authorizes obtaining a certified true copy. |

Enoch07:Rest ke. Baba BAT will switch to plan B which is SDP to continue the pursuit of his ambition! |
DoggoneDogg:Are you serious right now ? What manner of comedity sh-t is this? |
sanya4good:In the eyes of the law you say. Yes, but now that they have fallen in love, it is time to let the "law" know that they are not blood relations and so it is not incest, so let them be! |
Malory:I agree with you completely! Are you a prophet? |
DARLINGTON869:This is a tough one! It appears that the boy was adopted long before the couple was blessed by a girl. Both must have lived as siblings for a long while before the thought of marriage. Methinks they have been doing it since and they want to make it official. Please if you want them to get married, just announce to the world that they are not actually siblings lest they accuse them of incest! |
Sultty:What do you mean by dry joke? Can you imagine the things said and put them in writing? As for me, my ribs were cracking! |
LadyRosa:Haba sis, you be comedian? Abeg leave my ribs alone oh. |
richiemcgold:Shhhhh! That is the mistress of H.E oh. Please be careful. |
ghostboy:Lol! So it is only ugly people that should marry older men eh? Have you checked out the wives of the Alafin of Oyo? Every relationship with an older man is not always about money o.k. Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu (of blessed memory) and his beauty queen wife comes to mind! |
RoyalBoutique:Yes oh. There is also blueberry abi? |
[quote author=OfficialDJ post=101482749]It was 6:50 am in the morning when I called teddy that I was coming to Lagos to pick my cls up( I had paid for a thorough paint job to be meted out on the car) I booked a flight from calabar to Lagos that same month for almost twice the normal fee! Everything went smoothly from there and I spent the night at one of those hotels in the GRA axis of ikeja. I went down to meet up with the paint guy, and I was impressed by what I saw. I was assigned a driver by the company to drive the car down to calabar... “Na new car be this, drive carefully “ the driver was told, but it was the complete opposite of the instructions he was meted out to that he did. Pothole upon pothole the car entered, and I was so mad that I couldn’t shout again. The final straw that broke the camelback was when he entered two potholes at once along sapele road, and the tyres screeched and gave up. The passenger side tyres tore like it was riddled with bullets, and it was a bushy area..... We heard a siren blow and a police van ordered us not to park there that hoodlums kidnapped people there... They had to follow us to the nearest filling station, which was thankfully near an army checkpoint. The rims had given up too at that point ( rims wey I buy 250k) I was so mad I couldn’t even talk to the driver again. The policemen came down and asked what the problem was .. they offered to bring down the tyre and sorted things for us. We had to sleep in the filling station that night for the car to be worked on the the next morning! That particular night, without being signaled to come, 4 Warri boys helped us get new tyres and transported it to the car’s location without collecting money. I was shocked by the hospitality. The next day, the boys again took me to where I’d get rims and everything for the car, which was beyond amazing. I had to squeeze 3k to the supposed leader, as they refused to collect anything. I got back to calabar yesterday afternoon, and I’m riddled with repairs worth 300k+ If you’re from delta, you guys rock! So much, as if it wasn’t for those guys, then my situation would have been Thank God for everything. Those guys were angels in disguise, I swear. |
illicit:This is hilarious bro. Turning a serious matter to humour! Kudos bro. We need to laugh sometimes even when matters are serious. |
Coolx:Lol! So you think only young people are on Nairaland eh. Hahahahahaha. Some of us older folks are computer literate bro. |
Coolx:Hey bro, you are not correct there. I was 11 years old then. Hehehehehe! |
Tats:God to know. Knowledge they say is power. Thank you bro. |
Tats:Interesting! But why so since the message itself sent by me had correct date and time setting? |
Did you notice anything? Delivered 1st January 1970. Don't tell it's my phone setting because the time of sending was correct ie 14th February 2021. Na wa for the GSM companies oh.

I am in dire need of the services of a competent biographer, one who has done some reputable jobs of similar nature in the past. Please interested persons should DM me on 2348066912427. |
sapphiere:Did the unmarried male police officers you are referring to get pregnant? The law is clear on the matter. Much as the law is unfair and wrong, pregnancy interferes with their work. Try employ a female into your organization and let her get pregnant(when not married) and you will understand. Everday complain! The emphasis here is unmarried female police officers. Why twist the narrative? |
EcoBrick:Very nice and commendable. The Delta state government should emulate this. The governor is notorious for delaying pensioners money. Imagine delaying payments to pensioners for up to 4 years after retirement. Many have died waiting without collecting their money. Money they have sweated for! They even contributed in the so called Contributory Pension Scheme. |
Reports from Delta state has it that government has not paid pensioners who retired from year 2015 up till 2019. This is de-humanising. How can you treat your senior citizens this way? How do you want them to survive? Please, this is an appeal to Governor Okowa to please come to their aid. It is not completely government money if you ask me. They contributed their had earned money too hence it is called Contributory Pension scheme. |
Dear Nairalanders, this thread is for "senior citizens" who have served this country either by working for 35 years or by attaining the statutory age of 60 years as the case may be. Some exceptions include high court judges and university professors who attain 70 years of age before retirement. Another exception which was added lately was staff of tertiary educational institutions whose retirement age was increased to 65 years. All the same, this thread is for anybody who has disengaged from paid employment and is now retired. In view of the fact that many of these pensioners are not quite IT compliant (not necessarily literate) due to their age, they may not be able to access Nairaland and reap of the many benefits of this forum. However, these pensioners have sons and daughters, nieces and nephews and even cousins of younger age who can articulate issues and bring them to fore in this forum on behalf of them. For pensioners like me who are IT compliant enough to contribute to the discuss on this thread, please feel free to contribute and share your experiences with us. For example, do you experience delays in getting your entitlements? Are you being frustrated by your PFAs? or are you being short-changed when being paid? Please feel free to ventilate your ideas. We solicit for the cooperation of the Mod in charge of this section to please help bring thorny issues to the public domain so as to get the desired attention from Government or other employers. Thank you. |
ProtectMyMoney:Yeah, you are correct but Q10 is not compatible anymore with whatsapp. I will rather stick to my android for whatsapping. Thanks all the same. |
CyberEBOLA:No bro! I don't market blackberry but having acquired it, I will use it until it can no more be repaired. Maintenance culture if you ask me. |
Discussion will be like.
