The worst cases of political judgments in the history of Nigeria are the cases of Zamfara and Rivers. I still don't understand how in a democracy a court can prevent a party from having a candidate in any election. That is no longer and election but a selection.

Seriously unrealistic analysis. Most of these types of projects around the world are not profitable. They are mostly subsidized bu the govt, the London train systems, the Marta train systems in Atlanta are not profitable and they have been in existence for years.
Regarding cost overruns, this is also very normal. I remember the Los Angeles's underground system has been under construction for decades and the cost has gone through the roof.

Mistakes are bound to be made.in such huge projects and it's ok to point them out but to expect the system to start making profit anytime soon is day dreaming.
The best they can do is too make as much as possible from their operations and allow the govt to subsidize the rest.
If you think Emirates and Dubai train are profitable operations then you are living in lala land. Emirates is heavily subsidized by the UAE govt, that's why Delta stopped flying to Dubai because they can't compete.

Nigerians needs to have a mindset of paying way more taxes to subsidize these kinds of facilities if they truly want to live like those in the western world.
