Though i remain neutral when it comes to politics, due to the nature of our site on my signature. But when i visit this section i feel sad and pity this our so called nation, Nigeria. I dont see Nigeria joining the first world or even second world countries anytime soon. This is not because we dont have the resources to move forward, but our mentality is holding us back. First world countries deal with the problems of the future. Second world countries are dealing with the problems of the present Third world countries are dealing with the problems of the past. Unfortunately, Nigeria is and will remain a 3rd world country if we do not burry the past and build a nation with a common goal and voice (DEVELOPMENT). No matter how much resources we generate or borrow, Nigeria will not move forward. Buhari cannot even fight corruption as he wants to because of our mentality. Its this our ethnocentric and religious mentality that holds us back. So for all those hoping for miracles under buharis administration, i urge u to prepare for more problems in Nigeria. Until the issues of the past are addressed, and we have a common goal for this nation, all we will have is re-branding of political parties and politicians jumping from party to party deceiving the masses. Until we are ready to be one nation and have a common goal, we can only dream of a better Nigeria. Look at Malaysia and other countries we started together with and where they are today. You will find they have a single goal. Our goals are selfish and focused on the 3 MS (ME, MY FAMILY AND MY PEOPLE). I hope buhari addresses this, else we will have a wasted 4 years ahead of us. |
adetona99:Nice one. The red tittles could be a little bit bolder. Also some articles are all bold fonts while some are normal fonts. I think it would be nice to have all normal fonts for uniformity |
Alfred200825:Nice, but i would change the banner at the top to something wider if i was you. |
johnemeka:Adding a nice banner at the top will be good. Also ensure that the divs containing the content are of equal size. |

I know this questions might be funny to Christians. But in the Bible, Jesus is referred to as the son of GOD. Who was sacrificed that GOD will have many more sons and daughters. Jesus at some point told the disciples that he no longer talks to them as servants but as friends. Jesus also said he and the father are one. He told the disciples to ask for anything from the father in his name. I understand he came to reconcile us with the father, like hold holding our hands and that of the father at the same time. Hence the question. |
fortech91:Nice Layout. Have u tried any different colour to you navigation background and fonts? |
phemmziey:Nice, but i would not use blue colour for the title text. I could use purple or ash but not blue. Might also find a diff font |

As an independent survey platform, we try our best to stay out of politics or stay neutral. I have been monitoring the political section of Nairaland, though i am not allowed to comment on political issues as an independent survey website operator . However the battle seems to be more fierce online than offline, and the way things are going, i dont know what could happen on this site after elections. For this reason i am calling on the leaders of PDP , APC and other party support groups to come forward and sign a peace pact. That they will not engage in physical, spiritual and e-violence after the elections, irrespective of who wins or looses. Please Let PDP supporters Name their Leader and APC do the same. Let them come forward and sign on behalf of their party e-supporters. Awaiting the patriotic response of the leaders of each party support groups. This message is brought to you by independent survey board (ISB) with link on our signature. |
It has become so wildly used and accepted that most christians don't see it as a SINFUL STATEMENT ANYMORE. When someone does something wrong we say "u dey f-u-c-k up ", even Christians use this word without knowing. Are you as a christian guilty of the above statement? |
