Car TalkRe: Why Does Fuel Last Longer When Your Tank Is Full? by osile2012(op): 11:23am On Apr 29, 2015
0rex:
This has to do with the fuel level sensor which is usually a float switch incorporated with a potentiometer to vary electrical current to your fuel meter.
When you fill your tank, the fuel level actually goes further above the maximum limit of the float switch (this might be up to 10-15 litres), so when you use your car, you will think it actually saves more fuel when the tank is full, whereas it is this excess fuel that is being used up before the fuel level gets to the normal maximum level of the float switch. After which, the guage starts to respond to the actual fuel level remaining in the tank, reflecting your true fuel consumption.

'Reserve' also works with the same principle.

The one that has stuck in my head now, is that of three crowns milk. The song "dont you wish ur mumy was fine like mine", it looked so natural. Everytime i go for provisions in a mall and looking for milk to buy, that adverts comes to my mind.

Which advert advert do you like or dislike?

Don't forget you can rate top Nigerian Brands,Products and People by clicking the link on my signature.

[size=15pt]I noticed that if my fuel is bellow half tank it burns faster, before u know it, it is on reserve. But when ever the tank is full, you will drive and drive and yet it wont move an inch from the full line.

WebmastersHow To BOOST Your Site Ranking Using Nairaland. by osile2012(op): 3:38pm On Apr 26, 2015
[size=15pt]Alot of website/blog owners want to know how to boost their site ranking on google and other search engines.

They visit nairaland seeking for solution, but they don't know that Nairaland itself is the solution. Most of us read about link exchange but dont understand it.

A site Like nairaland which is ranked high on google can carry your own site along if you use it well

Now here is how it works.

Nairaland is ranked high on search engines, especially when you are searching from or about Nigeria.

Effective link exhcange requires that your site is linked to the other and the other linked to yours. Unfortunately, most site owners on nairaland just have the link one way.

By one way i mean, they have their links on their signature or posts on nairaland, but dont have nairaland links on their sites. People click their links on Nairaland, but cant click Nairaland link on their site.

Take the site on my signature for example, By clicking the link on my signature you get to the site. On the buttom or footer of the site, you can also click on nairaland link (That is after you have explored the site and rated grin grin).

That way, the search engines register a relationship between your site and a highly ranked one as nairaland, and this will increase the respect or ranking given to your site.

If you hear that i am closely related to Buhari, wont you respect me huh grin grin

Thats how search engines respect relatives of high ranking sites grin grin grin

So click on the link on my signature. Visit the site, Rate top Brands,Products and People in Nigeria. Then click on the Nairaland link at footer to return to nairaland.

See how this is done and replicate on your own site or blog.

These days there is a profession called internet posers.

Ladies now 'fall in love' with guys who post pics with more six packs, nice looking rides, handsome face etc.

In their opinions, he looks good to give them fine babies, and setlle the bills.. (their thoughts not mine).

Lilttle wonder the number of divorce cases is soaring over the roof tops.

There you have it op. That's the 21st century profession that gets the ladies ''the dream man''.

AgricultureFood Processing by osile2012(op): 2:08am On Apr 17, 2015
[size=15pt]Not Everyone can go to the farm or poultry to produce harvest of plants or animal. But those who do not want to go to the farm, dont have to miss out on agriculture . So i think its important to explore the area of food processing, so that after the farmers are done with the harvest, people can invest in transforming the products into something else.

Does anyone have an idea of what it cost to set up a garri processing plant and how profitable the business is? If you have detailed information on garri processing please share with us.

Also anyone who knows about flour milling business, whether its maize, corn, soybean any flour mill of any product will do. Let we the lazy ones who dont want to go to the farm not miss out on other aspects of agriculture.

Patiently waiting for response.

Thanks in advance.

[size=15pt]Nigerians Should form a habit of rating Brands and Products. If we learn to do this, most companies in
Nigerian will sit up to maintain their rating.

This is the reason we have come up with this rating platform. Feel free to click the link on my signature, click on rate brands, Find ecobank and rate them based on your experience.

You can do the same for other brands, products and people.
