Hello people, I hope we're all good?
Please I need advice. If you remember I asked about University of Bolton here some days ago & I was advised to go with other schools if I have that option.

So, I have accepted my unconditional offer from LBU. The challenge now is that the address I filled on my TB test certificate is the University of Bolton address. But I am no longer going there.

Does this matter? Has anyone being in a similar situation? How did you go about it please?

I sent a mail to the Lagos office but they replied with an automated mail which really solves nothing, and I've tried to call their contact lines to no avail. Please I need help on how to go about it.

Call the Lagos office & then inform the Abuja office. This isn't an issue. I converted mine from Abuja to Lagos & I even got an early date.

Let him wait until you get your visa first but indicate in your form that you will be traveling with him.

Thank you, but I need clarification on this statement "indicating that I'll be travelling with him is it" technically we won't be applying together because we will be applying separately from different countries so is this really necessary?

thanks so much for your prompt response. Do you mean with marriage certificate and birth certificate, hubby and kids can follow just like that , do they need medical too? And how much visa fee for studypermit and IHS, visa fee for each of the partner and children? Are they to pay same visa fee as Student visa?

They will all need to do the TB test as well. You will also need to calculate how much you need per child & adult to put this in your account for at least 28 days. That is, you need to provide evidence that you can support each child & your husband. Check gov.uk to calculate how much you need for your dependents

Not really, I have only accepted the offer. I plan to pay the deposit fee of £4,500 next week. I have reached out to the representative of Leeds Beckett University who helped with my application so that I can accept the offer.

Just avoid University of Bolton if you can.
There have been cases where prospective students paid their £4,500 deposit to get CAS and after paying where told to pay the full fees before issuing CAS.
One paid the full fees and hasn’t gotten CAS till now
For two months now
And they’ve been irresponsive and slow
Someone posted here that her sister paid their fees and they’ve not replied to her mails since then.
If you have other school options I suggest you go with them..

Wow, I'm beyond shocked! � I don't even know what to do now because I didn't accept my other admission offers. And I don't know if I can still accept them.

Go to the centre in person.

Call the IOM office. I was able to convert my appointment from Abuja to Lagos & also got an early date just by calling. I was told to send an email to them & my appointment was rescheduled the following day.

Good morning everyone, any idea how long it generally takes to process CAS? I plan to pay my deposit fee next week & I heard that it takes time to get an appointment for biometrics so I'm worried if my statement of account will not expire as I heard that I must use it for my visa application within 31 days of printing.

Hi, you have to rebook your appointment. The Embassy's routine clearance is ending of September and March (you can confirm this from the website).
All appointments are cleared so everyone has to cancel & rebook.

Is anything wrong with waiting for embassy to call before funding blocked account ? Seems embassy makes sure blocked account is fully funded before inviting for interview..,

Hi, I don't think so. Most people I know only funded their accounts before their interview. Only if this is a new development. Did you hear this from someone?

Please for guys who have done their Visa interview, do you drop your passport at the consulate while waiting for your AM?

I haven't done mine but from what I heard from my friends who have. Yes, you will drop it. It will be sent back to you once the decision is made.

Due to the panademic, most schools are doing classes online. But there are some courses that cant only be done online but need physical presence of the student. In this case, the school will send the student a certificate of presence requirement which the student will use in addition to apply for visa. With this letter, students have a bit higher chance of getting a date. Remember not all course need this.
