Ambode duly contested the APC primaries and lost in a free and fair election.

PDP is not strong in Lagos, infact APC owned most of all the House of assembly, House of rep, and senate seat in Lagos.

PDP have always been relegated in any election since 1999, so tell me how Ambode will win if he decamp to PDP? What will be his gain contesting and wasting money when it’s evident he will lose?

However in Edo case, APC&PDP always have 50/50% chance of wining elections over there so It make sense to Obaseki to decamp and try his luck.

Edo have been ruled by PDP before multiple times so it’s different from an APC totally controlled Lagos.

Again Edo is not Lagos in all ramification because Edo is a backward state while Lagos is a mega city!

Power actually belongs to the people not the party or cheiftains. Oshomole contesting in 2007 was voted for massively by the people because of the love they had for him,hence he won in the polls and subsequently in the court. Mimiko in Ondo state contested on the platform of a relatively unknown party, the Labour party and he won. Ambode no doubt was loved by lagosians but because of Godfatherism he was deprived a second term. He would have tested his popularity with another Party

Yes and no.they have the same powers but different territorial jurisdictions.a state high court powers is mostly limited to a particular state and does not have jurisdiction over federal bodies or matters in another state..a federal high court jurisdiction is all encompassing.
But I think the edo high court can have jurisdiction since the primaries is taking place in Edo

The court don't have jurisdiction over intra party matters as long as its in line with the party's constitution. So it's dead on arrival

I won't stoop too low to your level, it's either you're kid or you're a semi literate. But to educate others i will drop these facts.
1. Edo state operates in rotational Governorship zones, Edo south(Binis), Edo central (Esans), Edo north ( Afirmars)

2. Since 1999, Edo south ruled for 8years(Lucky igbinedion) before he handed over to Edo central(Prof Osunbor)

3. Prof Osunbor was sacked by the election tribunal thereby making way for Adams Oshomole ( Edo north ) who ruled for 8years). Edo south produced Governor Obaseki who has ruled for 4years , hence the total support for him to complete his 8years.

4. OBa of Benin has been ruled by 2 Esan men before, Prof Osunbor and Prof Ambrose Ali

5. From what you typed, you just disgraced your family and ancestors, even the Oba would be ashamed of you, National politics in Edo state have been controlled by Esan sons. We've produced the vice president, Admiral Mike Akhomu, Elderstatesmen Tony Anenith, Tom Ikimi to mention a few. Please try to read wide to acquire wisdom. Peace
