ospreywin:
With the current rate of purchasing a Tokunbo vehicle and people opting for a Nigerian used vehicles, here are some important things to note before making that purchase.
1. Make sure the seller you're buying from has an identity, you don't just buy from a random person with no link to anyone or anywhere so you won't be buying a stolen vehicle. Do your due diligence before buying a Nigerian used car.
2. When inspecting, take your "trusted" mechanic along, don't depend on your own little knowledge about cars to make a purchase, look under the vehicle for any rust make you no go buy "panda or" lowe" (that word is for the street for useless or fake stuff ).
3. Check the vehicle papers very well, ask for the custom papers, make sure all documents are intact. From the vehicle papers, check the VIN/Chassis Number written or inscribed on the windshield, engine hood and door sides if they correlate with the one on the documents, most people register vehicles with a lot discrepancies, if they don't correlate na wahala be that oo(though I can help you rectify that but e go cost you some money).
4. Try and negotiate the cost of processing your change of ownership and registration fees along when you're dealing and negotiating with the seller, the cost of changing ownership with due process is on the high side now as you know the FG has increased the price of number plates across the nation.
5. After making payment, make sure you both sign an agreement for and purchase receipt to legally show your transaction and the amount you bought it.
6. After doing the 5 above, you can now contact oga VD for your proper vehicle registration . Thank you
Check my signature for your vehicle documents needs, fast, reliable and hassle free. May your vehicle never be your coffin, may the Good God keep you safe as you cruise around with your ride from known and unknown danger.

wow thanks sir. I talked to someone about the DL and they said I can get it in one month, hopefully it's true.
On the payment issue sir, like how much should be remitted weekly if it is rent to own?
You can't get a driver's license in a month Bro. 2-3 months max

My own advise is if you don't know that person personally and you haven't witnessed how he handles his car, RUN OOH 98% of Nigerians only sell their cars when the problem don tire them
Contrary to your 98% some people sell to upgrade

Car Talk › Re: As A First Time Car Owner, What Are The Must Have Car Documents /papers To Get ? by ospreywin(m): 9:02pm On Aug 21, 2021
9icetoo:
Is this a Tokunbo car? If yes, you need the following:
1. Vehicle license
2. Third part insurance
3. Proof of ownership
4. Road worthiness certificate
5. Allocation of plate number receipt (not really necessary but we have idiots in police uniform)
6. ECMR or whatever new name they call it these days (computerised motor registry, again not necessary as vehicle license should have covered this).
7. Tinted permit if your vehicle has one (again not necessary as the IG has scrapped this but you will still find stupid police officers who have not heard the directive. However, if you fixed the tint yourself, you are on your own).

If bought second hand, you will still need all the above (in your own name reflecting your new number plate) but will now need the following extra
1. Change of ownership
2. Police clearance and extract
3. If it's tinted, get new tintd permits or retain that of the previous owner and also his/her old proof of ownership.
Well said! That's all you need.

exactly,JuJu dey and the person you quoted knows.even the prophet told us to seek refuge against harms from evil people...The issue here is as a Muslim believer,it is shirk for you to seek help from such source.Seek your help from Allah. Do not resort to traditional means to seek revenge or any help.it is tantamount to disbelief...I am not an Alfa... but I know much about the oneness of Allah.
Thank you my brother, only an ignorant fellow will deny there's no juju. There's charm and we attest to the fact but not at the detriment of your aqeedah.

Shirk is associating a god with Allah and I've not done so in anyway. What i posted has no way done harm on anyone but only a thief.

Everything in life would only be by God's grace and there's no issue why I can't use it.

I can't be responsible to how you understand, we'll always have different perspective and opinion.

God bless
I apologize for being part of those derailing the purpose of this thread.

My brother, beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance. Let's assume you are not well informed of the principles of aqeedah when you're in مدرسة and I'm not in any way trying to demote your knowledge or underrated you, consequently most مراكز in our yoruba land don't give توحيد much consideration for student. Shirk is basically believing or attesting to the fact that anyone/anything can cause harm directly or indirectly except what Allah has decreed. I hope you do more research about tawheed and I seek Allah's guidance for you and I. Salaam
