Just got a message from total feb 20. Hope it's not too late? It's kind of hard to see the registrar of my school. Will they be okay with the details of the Dean of Students' Affairs only? |
I want to order for the 'soldier' hosting plan. Question 1. How do I pay? I have nothing except my GTB MasterCard. Question 2. I'll like to viewers to be able to comment on articles without registering. Question 3. Do you have plan for free trial (domain and/or hosting)? |
ps3o:I need a .com domain. Can the link you provided offer that? |

I have some questions which i neeed urgent answers to. I've tried google, but i'm not getting specific answers, so i thought i should ask experienced fellows. I intend lauching a website soon. The site is just 20 MB for now and it's meant to increase by 1% per month. My questions are: 1. Is there any webhosting site that offers free .com domain (at least for a start). If there is, kindly help me with some. 2. In terms of SEO pocket-friendliness, which wehosting/domain agent (that accepts bank deposit or GTB Mastercard) will you recommend? NB: The website is more of a static website. Thanks in advance. |
oduaboy1:You shouldn't be quick to invalidate someone else's post. Colleges that I know make use of 5.00 scale. Even some polytechnics make use of 5.00 scale. That was why I specified the scale I'm talking about. If the OP's school make use of 4.00 scale (whih I doubt), then he/she is qualified for D.E admission since 3.5 on a 4.00 scale is Sond Lass Upper (2.1). |
Good evening sir zinofego and every other guru in the house. I have some questions which i neeed urgent answers to. Seunfunmi18:There should be, since they admittd students into th dpartmnt this session. Direct Entry applicants should be able to join the students in 200L next session (2015/2016). But, I stand to be corrected. |
millyajay:I think reverse is the case. |
yettypeddy:3.45 on a scale of 5.00 is LOWER CREDIT which is not qualified for admission through direct entry into FUNAAB. |
VigorousV:That means you'll be applying during 2016/2017 session, of which things might have changed by that time. CHOICE OF COURSE While waiting, it'll be a good time to do your homework, google search for each course that FUNAAB offers (Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Entrepreneural Studies), Job prospects of each course and the general content. Even if you weren't food in economics, if you have interest in it, you can become the best economist if you determine to be. Prepare to the best of your ability for the forthcomig WAEC GCE. That's number one. Secondly, start getting yourself acquainted with JAMB past questions including CBT. You have a year to prepare, don't waste it. O' LEVEL REQUIREMENT For all commercial courses in FUNAAB, Mth, Eng & Econs is compulsory, plus ANY TWO of GEography, Accounting or commerce. BREAKDOWN OF FEES As at last admission session, the acceptance fee+ICT fee was N45,000 and sch fee was N38,000. |
MrDonfranko:My Oga, pls can you send the links to my email too? adeademi2@gmail.com |
millyajay:Geography is not compulsory. The O' Level requirement for commercial courses in FUNAAB is: Maths, English, Economics and ANY TWO OF commerce, financial accounting, or geography. Do you understand? |
dada01:As a science student, you can't study economic in FUNAAB. The O' level requirement for commercial courses is at least c6 in mth, eng, eco and any 2 of govt, geo or comm. Evidently, you don't meet this requirement. And if you're talking about agric econ, you're still not qualified because at least c6 in chemistry is required for ALL science courses in FUNAAB. Summary: With that your O' Level result, forget admission into FUNAAB at least for this year. |
Adeademi2@gmail.com |
Egregius:The O' Level requirement for all Agric coures (including Agric econs) is at least a credit pass (C6) in Mth, Eng, Chm, Bio and Phy. A pass(D7) in physics may be accepted. So, having D7 in econs won't affect you because Economics is not one of the O'Level requirement for the course you mentioned (Agric Econs). Check the first page of this thread for further details. |
I'm here to provide answers to all your questions. Proudly FUNAABITE!!! |
Happy New Year to y'all. By now, most of you must have known the school he/she is aspiring for the 2014/2015 academic session. These three things are summed up and totalled over 100%, with your O level carrying 20%, Jamb score 50%, and post UTME score 30%. *Awaiting result can be used as long as the result will be ready by august. *For all SCIENCE students (no matter the course you're applying for), the O level requirement is a minimum of credit pass (C6) in mth, eng, phy, chm, bio. *For COMMERCIAL STUDENTS, the O level requirement is a minimum of credit pass (C6) in mth, eng, econs, and one 2 of comm, Fin. Acc, or Geo. *As of last year, the Jamb cut-off was 180. And the post UTME cut-off was 40% *If you're applying for Engineering and engineering related courses, your Jamb subject combination should be eng, mth, phy & chm. *If you're applying for Agric courses or courses like biology etc, your Jamb subject combination should be eng, chm, bio and mth/phy. *Go through your JAMB brochure for detailed info on the various requirements for the course. With these basic info, you shouldn't have any problem registering for JAMB UTME. As time goes on, other info you may need will be posted here. For a list of courses offered by FUNAAB and their admission requirements, goto www.funnab.edu.ng and select admission requirements. Note that it's in pdf, meaning not all phones can view it. sammirano: Guys pls, i need to know if it's ETC that conducted the exam? The exam wasn't conducted by ETC. It was conducted by FUNAAB ICTREC and the software used is licensed to FUNAAB- Question Mark perspective. Far better than that of ETC. |

Sanguine: Younglady, who says you can't make the highest grade possible. With these delays and all, you shoulda been studying real hard.I agree with Sanguine. "Aim beyond the stars so that even if you don't get above the stars, you'll fall among the stars". Aim for something like 80 so that if you eventually don't hit it, you'll end up around 60 which is still ok. Lot of people usually gamble with their Funaab admission because they already hav good Jamb score and O' levels, hence they aim for somethng like 50 in the post utme and end up scoring 34. Be wise Happy Sunday. |
adenike jummy: gud evenin @ osumare pls am confused abt dis composite calculation, can u pls jst help me out 183 in jamb my o'level had A1 in one subject, B3 in two subject, one B2 nd C6 pls help me calculate dnt really undastand d how to calculate it. Thanks in anticipationNo problem. I'll help you as well as explain to you so you can teach others. JAMB- 183/8= 22.875 O' Level= A1(6)+B3(4)+B3(4)+B2(5)+C6(1)=20points. 20 x 2/3 =13.333 Current Composite- 22.875+13.33=36.208~36.21 Your current composite is 36.21 To help a bit further, your post utme score will be multiplied by 0.3 e.g if you have 80 in post utme, we'll multiply it by 0.3 to You should go to gives 24 (80x0.3=24). Then it's added to the already existing composite(36.21), which brings your total composite to 60.21 (i.e 36.21+24=60.21) You should go through the whole procedure here to understand it better. https://www.nairaland.com/1147267/federal-university-agriculture-abeokuta-aka/27 |
ibukun3: I also made a mistake putting in 'pre degree' instead of normal Utme. I heard it's lmpossible to correct because I av already submitted it even their ICT cnt rectify it true or false? There's nothing the ICT can't rectify, unless they don't wanna do it. Get there if you want something done. Don't sit at home and keep listening to "I heard" stories. |
