ibukun3: yes oo dts what I saw; DE, pre degree, management coursesAnd when you finished registering, was ur registration print-out the same with other pple that are also science students. Hav u tried comparing ur print-out with others'? Will ask around though. |
Mickyboiz: @Osumare bt my origin tally wit my o'level and post utme na4 only jamb, d person dat registered me made mistake,is dere a way i cn amend it?You shld hav gone to Jamb office to rectify it na. Now it can no longer be corrected. Just pray there's no adverse effect. Lotta pple usually escape it. But things might hav changed. |
ibukun3: I think I might have made a mistake with my registration... I want to gain admission into unaab,in the form online i saw 3 slots ; DE, pre degree, management courses. Since I am not for DE and i did not choose a management course, I den chose pre degree. guys pls was this correct or did i make a mistake, I am afraid dat I might not be considered 4 admission to the university. on d oda hand my course is NUDYou sure that's what you saw, predegree, DE, management course? Cos what you're supposed to see is Science, DE, management. |
Tuunjii: I haven't seen alert for d second payment ooo... And I paid my 2300# on d 8 of this month. Tru WEMA BANK.. Abeokuta.... Each time I tried to check ma schedule it says I have an outstanding payment.. And my frnds dat we paid on d same day same place av seen der alerts....... Pls ways d way out and who else is facing this kind of problemTake the teller and your payment invoice and head to the bank tomorrow to lodge your complain. They should be able to help. |
lamlard: pls is it original olevel result or the usual print out we are to come withAnyone that's readily available. Just make sure it's legible. |
Mickyboiz: Pls guys will unaab ignore mistakes madeThey will. This is because as a Federal institution, there must be equity. Hence, each local govt/state in Nigeria is alloted some admission spaces each depending on the number of qualifed candidates from each region. For example, Lagos may be alloted 500 spaces, while Ogun 350 spaces and so on. Filling a wrong state of Origin will jeopardise that. Well, we're in Nigeria. If you mistakenly filled Oyo instead of Ogun...pray you made the same mistake in JAMB and while registering for your O' level, be it WAEC or NECO. Also, find a means to get a certificate of Origin from that state. You've automatically ported with that. But if the state of origin in Jamb/O' Level doesn't tally with the one you filled during post utme, you're in trouble. Pray. |
Shegz94: pls, I will b glad if u can help wit d questions. E-mail is oluwasegun4all@gmail.com. Course chosen is Economics. More strength 2 ur strength!Sir, kindly remover ur email frm here and send ur msg to the email stated in the guy's post. He didn't say u shld drop ur email or course here. |
queeneth26: @ osumare, pls someone told me the exam training is absolutely compulsory and necessary, is that true? Pls need ur answer ASAP .....thanksNo, it's not compulsory. I think pple are getting things mixed up here. Before post utme yearly, Funaab organises some kinda Computer training for prospective students to orientate them on the use of computer and how E-exam works. IT IS NOT A MUST THAT YOU PAY. And if you pay, IT IS NOT A MUST THAT YOU ATTEND. This is to take away the fear of CBT and make some pple who havn't had the opportunity to sit infront of a computer to do so. As long as you're a computer literate, you don't need it. But you might still wanna participate so as to know the do's and don't's of E-exam. It usually goes for 2500naira and it COMES UP BEFORE THE POST UTME. However, after you've been shortlisted for admission, you'll be required to pay 25k for admission acceptance fee and 5000naira for Computer Training. PAYING FOR THIS COMPUTER TRAINING IS A MUST cos the teller is part of the documents required of you before you can be allowed for the Oral interview. And you knw dat if you don't attend d oral interview, admission is gone. The Computer Training usually lasts for a period of 3weeks. You'll be scheduled in the same way as the post utme. Each person will just hav to attend thrice e.g your schedule might be sept 22, 27 & 29, while another person's schedule might be sept 20, 24 & 25. ATTENDANCE is not a must cos I got some folks that didn't attend at all during our time and nothing happened. But as a law abiding citizen, you shld attend cos it's ur money. You'll be taken through MS Word, Excel, Internet Browser and general computer appreciation. It's just to prepare you ahead for life in Funaab, cos you'll be doing lotta E-exam and project works. Summary: For the computer training that takes place BEFORE post utme(2500naira), it's not a must to pay or attend. While for the computer training that takes place after you've been shortlisted(5000naira), it's a must that you pay but not a must that you attend. I hope you get it. HAPPY SUNDAY & RAMADAN MUBARAK. |
scipher: 1,800 votes to go.. head to change.orgHow many votes do we need sir I'll make sure we hit the deadline before midnight! |
sobastical: Yes locate the ICT when before or after your post-ume exam date.I'm sure they will do something about it and they might ask you to pay 300 or so sha...proudly UNAABITE!!!!Brother, get your info right! ICT won't rectify anything after registration has ended...mark my words! I've experienced it. The only set of people that can adjust their O' level are those who filled in awaiting results. The portal will be opened later for them to upload their results. But for those who have already filled something there, it can't be changed. GREATEST FUNAABITES!!! |
You guys need to stop derailing this thread. The guy that placed an advert here didn't say you should drop your email addresses here! You're supposed to send a message to the email address he dropped. You guys need to work on your understanding of English. Moreover, the guy didn't say it's free cos I'm sure he aint running a charity organisation. |
Kamardiran: sorry to digress a little......any info concerning funaab's postgraduate school? Is d form on sale?Yes. Details are on the school website. www.unaab.edu.ng Check the top right corner, just above the post utme info link. Application form costs 15,000 and registration closes october 18. |
Pweedylipsmoi: i filled in eng, maths, econs, acct and govt, i didn't do geography in waecThen you're safe. Since you have acct and govt, commerce is no longer necessary. |
I am interested. |
Pweedylipsmoi: I had D7 in commerce in waec, i wanna read economics. Does it affect anyfin but i didn't do it waec and in jamb.If u hav credit in any of Fin Acc or Geography, you're safe. The O' Level requirement for all Management Science course is a minimum of 5 credit in mth, Eng, Econs and any of Fin Acc, Commerce or Geography. Wait, hav u applied for the post utme? Which O' level did u filled in? Cos this question is kinda coming rather too late. |
lamlard: @osumare God go see u thru in al thanx. Abeg as d schedule been releasedNot yet. Let's see what happens tomorrow. |
By now, you're supposed to be aware of the following: 1. Funaab Post Utme is CBT (Computer-Based Test) and it's 50 questions for 30minutes. 2. All science students are sitting for 5 subjects namely mth, eng, bio, chm and phy (Wahab and David, take note). So, expect an average of 10 questions from each subjects. 3. All commercial students are sitting for 3 subjects namely mth, eng, and econs. Hence, expect an excess of economics questions. 4. The post Utme will last for 5 days, your precise day and time will be stated on the E-schedule. Don't go any other day apart from your scheduled date. Be prepared for stress on the day of your exam. Eat if possible. 5. Although the required credentials to bring along with your E-schedule print-out will be stated on the E-schedule, but note that it include the following: Your Jamb Result Print-out, a copy (clear photocopy) of your O' Level result(s), the print-out of your registration form that contains your applied course, O' Level and Jamb result breakdown. Make sure all copies are very clear. 6. Make all arrangements to arrive a day to your exam, except you stay in abeokuta. Arrange for accommodation, you may need to pass the night in abeokuta. Don't be wise in your eyes. Things may not go as you expect. You may be scheduled to write your exam by 10am and end up writing it at 9pm. Take note. 7. Funaab has no official post Utme past questions. But you can help yourself by laying your hands on the pre-degree past questions or any other questions from Funaab. 8. Funaab post utme results takes a day or two before it's released. Might be earlier this year though. 9. The first batch admission list should be released 2 weeks after the release of the post utme results and the oral screening date will also be released; that's if things go as planned. The first batch admission list is the major list as it usually contains over 3000 candidates of the 3500 to be admitted. 10. Once you've been offered admission, you'll be required to pay the admission acceptance fee + Computer Training fee all summing up to 30k in 3 days or less: Get ready! 11. The Oral interview is just to enable them screen your credentials and find out if it's really yours. No braintasking questions. But make sure you dress FORMALLY! 12. The release of the screening results stamps your admission GBAM! 13. The rest of the story will be released as time goes on.... |
under12: thank you sir,pls which year did u write ur post utme?i think that question is meant for Holamide Samuel cos he's the one i quoted here. That's why I included the source. ![]() |
Thought someone might find this post helpful: Service to Humanity: This tip is for all Jambites sitting for FUNAAB post UTMEas science students. Come in... As soon as I was through with my post UTME last year, i went home and started researching if i can find those questions in any of my textbooks or past questions.I eventually did. Of the 10 chemistry questions that I was faced with, lo and behold, I found 5 in the Jamb Chemistry past question. Year: 1978, questions 14 (The pH of four solutions...), 15 (when each of the nitrates...), 34 (If excess Zincis added...) and 40 (By meansof filtration, one...). I found the remaining 1 in 1979 Jamb chemistry past question, question 50 (Consider the following exothermic reaction...). I'm not saying these questions are gonna come out this year. But what if it does? You can do yourself some good by making sure you have answers to 80% of Jamb past questions especially the early years like 1978-1988. Will be glad when everyone comes back here to testify that he/she has been offeredadmission in few weeks' time. CREDIT: Holamide Samuel https://m./450882628262071 |
rkarang: FUNAAB, I hail ooo!!! Seko DUROSOKEPatriots never keep mute. |
Sanguine: Young man, you've always being so onpoint. Keep it going jare. What's this thing they say... The first shall be the last and the last shall... (I'd leave you to complete that). Thanks for the appreciation. You've been kinda quiet on this thread in recent times...you've been busy? |
rkarang: Imagine, OAU conducted her post UTME yesterday and even released the results. UNIBEN also conducted her own yesterday, Lautech of all unis will conduct her Post UTME tomorrow, UNILORIN is also abt to, UI online Reg has already closed but FUNAAB will rather, extend her own for reason not made known to applicants.OAU conducted her post UTME first last year (may 29 2012), admission list came out 3 months later and they resumed for the session march 2013, while FUNAAB conducted her exam between june 6-8 2013, admission list came out 2 weeks later and resumed for the session september, that same 2013. Which is better? LAUTECH won't resume for the new session till late January. All the schools you mentioned will resume later than FUNAAB, except UNILORIN. FUNAAB and UNILORIN move at the same pace. The post UTME won't exceed this month. The post UTME was postponed solely cos of the candidates. People are having problems with their registration and the university management decided to give more time to solve those problems. Other schools might have decided to go on with the exam leaving those affected as disqualified, thereby reducing the number of candidates. Oga, can you pls hail FUNAAB for me? |
phemmy johnson: plz do find out..Don't u still think its the work of ASUU strike as i said b4?Although i've got no official info, but based on the number of complaints i've received from candidates as regards the registration/portal access, I'm of the opinion that the registration was extended indefinitely to enable candidates to rectify whatever problems they have online, or with the help of FUNAAB ICT staff. Since some school conducted their post UTME today, it's therefore illogical to conclude that the exam was postponed cos of ASUU strike. Forgive my ignorance, is the portal now available for 2nd choice candidates to register? I mean those that are getting this error report: NOT FOUND ON FIRST CHOICE LIST |
Debonny90: Biochemistry is nt dat competitive same tin with food science and tech...bt dat doesnt mean u shouldnt pass d putme oBCH is more competitive than FST (and more challenging). A minimum composite of 50% is required to even stand a chance. Moreso, few Jambites get admitted into that dept cos pre-degree students take most space. Most candidates are transfered to other depts like Environmental Management & Toxicology. |
duchess sleek t:keep your fingers crossed. Nobody has the right to say confidently whether you'll be admitted or not. But going by your results, you've got the advantage. |
Debonny90: Guys ur post utme combination will be ur jamb combination o...if u didnt do bio in jamb..u wnt write bio in postutme owho feed you with this news? ALL SCIENCE STUDENTS WILL SIT FOR MATHS, ENGLISH, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS AND BIOLOGY NO MATTER THE SUBJECTS YOU TOOK IN JAMB OR THE COURSE YOU APPLIED FOR. IN THE SAME VEIN, ALL COMMERCIAL STUDENTS WILL SIT FOR MATHS, ENGLISH AND ECONOMICS. Rules are meant to be broken though...might change this year. |
phemmy johnson: Bottom line destroyed boss...welcome 2 new funaab....lolzexpressed my opinion. Intend to find out the reasons for this postponement soon. It's unusual. |
olamidarsenal: :oi heard that 2000 for training is compulsory whether u do it or not, u must pay d 2000k, is it true? Pls some should enlight meit's not compulsory you pay. And if you pay, it's not compulsory you participate. Discard all rumours. |
yeah...ur thought seems reasonable...cuz OAU is knwn to Be d head of ASUU(strikers...lol!)...let's think of this...2009 OAU pume was postponed cuz of ASUU strike den...
fingers crossed brother. . .i just hope it doesn't repeat this year. |
Once OAU isn't hindered for conducting their post UTME on saturday July 13, then nobody can stop FUNAAB from conducting theirs next week. #my_thoughts# |

I'll make sure we hit the deadline before midnight!
pls I nid 2 no wen d pre degree admiSsion list comes out ..... ɑΩ̴d would i b selected wit dis result?? Acc A1, Eco B3, Maths B3, Govt B3 ɑΩ̴d Eng C5
