it's a lie. No matter how difficult the exam was, some people wil still breaken even., moreover nothing made the exam difficult than d issue of EVA, if u have knowledge of it, nothing else..

'Nothing made the exams more difficult than EVA', well let me speak from my own point of view and not generalize. Time constraint made the exams more difficult and Eva. I know you would say you need to maximize your time and all but it was very difficult to do so especially when we had to compute different ratios and changes in income statements for both companies and knowing fully well that they gave us a 5 year summary f/S.
EVA is one of the toughest business valuation model but it doesn't mean one cannot know it. However there are some people who are currently working 10-12 hour shifts plus they had already passed sfm in previous diets, so coming across Eva might have been quite difficult. A friend read sfm, mge, browsed through my atax, pm,cr and fr, and although he read most valuation models but cos of his work, he was forced to select some topics to be left out from those courses.

My point is, Eva isnt the only reason case study was difficult. and although there might be people who would breakeven but it may be few and it obviously may be based on the person marking your script.
Because last diet, I can understand why my friend who knew the value chain model and wrote accordingly, failed, and my colleague who didn't have a clue on value chain, passed.
Its all God's grace.

Legally, your spouse would not be allowed to do anything, be it to work or do business. She needs legal residence to do any of those two and also a business license to operate a business. Everything here is controlled and when it comes to business you nearly always need a permit or license to do most things. Her best bet would have been her to enter on F1 visa also like you, instead of as a dependent, so she can go to school here at the same time (a US degree is very necessary here) you are going to school and also be able to work on campus, thus killing two birds with one stone. Your kids can then be dependents on you two, which makes the burden much less strenuous for you. My 2 cents.

Please @bigfrancis21 and @lagosismyhome, kindly reply my email

When you are looking for a good deal or free money you gat to spread your risk.... Find that application fee and apply to at least 3 or more schools especially if it not fall session . Although even if its fall session one school application-I-don't -like
If you did then that good

Best of Luck

@Lagosismyhome, and @bigfrancis21 can you please respond to my emails? Grateful...Thank you.

I brought forth my opinion in my first write up and you questioned it. So you are the one to hold your opinion to yourself. Don't let us go back and forth with each other. Let's just concentrate on helping people the best way we can.

So, those who make out time to help folks here are heartless? How many people have you helped to reposition their future after being denied a visa? Have you ever picked someone's call while talking to you on phone he or she starts to cry because of visa denial? And at the end, he or she got the visa.

There are some successful transcripts that had blemishes? Seems like you haven't been following this thread lately. Folks do comment on that and then say something like you are lucky. Bla bla bla.

Of course, we all know that harsh comments are unpleasant. But the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Many folks who were denied before, got their visas after absorbing these unpleasant words.

As a child growing up, your parents once shouted at you. They did so to make you a better child.

Always appreciate those who helped you in life and also those who are willing to help. For you never knew who God has sent to help you.

First, your first paragraph made no sense.
I commended those who genuinely help people by encouraging them. And yes I have helped lots of people, this is my third time ever commenting on nairaland and what I do is get hold of someone In need via email or a call, I feel more comfortable reaching out that way. And finally, never say the benefits out weight the draw back, you are totally 100% wrong. Everyone has a way of reacting to remarks and from those I have helped and they are lots, criticising them cause thy were only honest, was the last resort. Because I know how it feels and I have experienced that kind of situation. And since I have been able to help and encourage successful applicants, I like to believe, criticising them isn't the only 'go-to' option.

Very poor transcript!!!

Screw you. Someone uploaded a transcript and your first sentence was 'very poor transcript'. I am sure he is down right now and he doesn't need you to be kicking him while he is down.

I read a comment of someone saying something like harsh comments are good because it helps one prepare better. That's just an excuse to be mean.

Most on this platform condemn immediately they see a denial transcript even though those transcripts showed how honest the applicant was. There are some successful transcripts that had blemishes.

Try and find a way to stop all these condemnation . some of you do very well to help others. Buh there are just some who just heartless.

Some even went as far as saying he was telling a lie and that he was in the military blah blah blah. Are you a lie detector? Are u Christ ? What makes u think he was lying when you didn't even give 'sokoto' a chance to explain.

He needed help. Give it to him. He doesn't even have to tell you that what he said was the truth buh he chose to.

There are lots of applicants that got visas through lies which begs the question, what do V.Is really want?.

I feel he told the truth, he might not have explained it better, and I am sorry for the denial, and wish you success next interview
