How can be a good christian when I don't understand the bible. Too many questions to ask! I know the ten commandments were given in the old testament, I also know it still applies to present day christians, what I don't get is why there is a 'thou shalt not kill' in the commandments and our loving creator still instructed the israelites to kill their enemies. My question is, who created these enemies? Is it not God? Why would he love some children more than others? I'm confused! Over to the pastors in the house.

The Bible relays such an event in Mark 9:14-29. Where the disciples of Jesus couldn't cast out a devil. Instead of giving up on Christianity; they queried the Master:

When you failed; did you ask that type of question? Did you ever ask others who have results how they get their results?
Friend, your inability to have results doesn't make the Bible invalid; many Christians are having results!

I asked questions so much from Jesus but no response. As per the people who claimed to have results, I DONT KNOW ANY EXCEPT THE HIGH PROFILE PASTORS LIKE ADEBOYE, KUMUYI, OYEDEPO who are far beyond my reach. There is one very great pastor I actually contacted. According to him he has performed all kinds of miracles. When I asked him to cure my own longstanding problem, he couldn't. He prayed but nothing happened. But when I stopped religion, the problem vanished.

Okay practically now, have you prayed to get any of such huge testimonies before and it happened? If so, Pls feel free to share your testimony, perhaps it could convert a soul.

I saw a vision that at a time in the future, CHURCHES will be offered for sales to individuals and the governments to turn them into hospitals and research centres.

Then almost in every street, hospitals will be available and there will not be need to use helicopters as ambulances again, except in critical cases.

Churches will so much reduce while hospitals will so much increase for easy access to cure to problems of humanity. I can specifically tell you that KUMUYI is the greatest of all the thieves so-called pastors we know. A member of his church I knew those days was so eager to pay his full salary for the building of the DEEPERLIFE HIGH SCHOOL and the ANCHOR UNIVERSITY, with the thought that after its completion, it is the children of the church members that will be attending it. He paid three months full salary into the project happily, expecting the promises of god according to the pastors to be fulfilled. The man was surprised when the schools were ready and the school fee was mentioned? SO HIGH! with no subsidy for members. His children ended up being sent away from their own schools when the man has no school fee to pay. Funny enough, none of the pastors helped him.

I have been serving in a particular 'poor man's mentality' church for a long time, until one day I stared up and saw cobwebs of ancient ages over our heads, yet we have been seeing it as a norm, with our tithes and offering sinking into the potbellies of the leaders of the church. That was when my reasoning opened and I left that church to another where they hardly emphasize on hell fire but on faith in god(but not miracles). I was in that rich church for a short term. The painful memory I will never forget was when the pastor under the anointing of JESUS CHRIST, pushed a lady on crutches and she fell with a heavy thud to the concrete floor. I was expecting that she would rise up and start walking but lo and behold, they raised her up and gave her back her crutches.

THEN MY BRAIN OPENED, AND I REASONED, WHAT'S ALL THIS FOR? SHE FELL, YET NOTHING GOOD CAME WITH IT. THEY ALL SPEAK IN TONGUES, YET NOTHING CHANGES. Few weeks later, the revelation of EARTUM began to come to me and it's far more appealing to me than the impractical doctrines of JEHOVAH and his JESUS.

2. Miracle of dividing a water body

Moses was the first man in the Bible to achieve such a feat(Exodus 14)

Joshua did same(Joshua 3:14-17)

Elijah trusted God to do same for him and didn't need to struggle(2Kings 2:

Elisha saw Elijah do that and believed for the same(2Kings 2:14).

3. Miracle of Walking on water

Jesus knew about the miracles of dividing water bodies

He dared to trust God for something better.

Yes! To walk on water!!

Peter saw Jesus and remembered that "what God can do for one, He can do for all"

4. Miracle of raising the dead

Elijah was the first person in the Bible to achieve this feat(1Kings 17:17-24)

Elisha, who was Elijah's servant saw how Elijah did his and trusted God for same

And raised a dead child(2Kings 4:20-37)

Jesus raised 3people from death

The Widow's son(Luke 7:11-16)

Jarius' daughter (Mark 5:35-43)

Lazarus(John 11)

Peter did same because He saw how Jesus did it(Acts 9:36-41)

Paul did the same(Acts 20:7-12)

Praise God!

Miracles didn't happen more than once in the Bible, by chance.

For whatever things were written before, were written for our learning,

That we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures

While I was a Christian, a very committed one who always searches out for the reality of the truth of Christ's miracle which he promised us that we can do greater things too, I tried almost every miracle they said he did, praying and fasting very hard, but unfortunately none worked. I sank in water, thanks to people around. I later heard that a man tried staying inside a zoo with lions like Daniel and he was thorn to pieces. Then Christians called him a fool for practising his faith which eventually didn't work for him.
When I used to have migraine, I waited on the lord Jehovah, who said that 'if you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes." I believed greatly that Jehovah will cure me, but when I was almost dying for my belief, I was rushed to the hospital where scientist's medicine cured me. All the time I have been having problems(i mean big ones, not the petty-petty ones like weakness after a day's labour), I have prayed to the Christian god and I have not known of once when he answered me. But hospitals and scientific methods has answered me all the time.

I have laid my hands on the sick and they have never recovered, contrary to the promises of Jehovah. In the DOCTRINE OF THE UFOS given to me by Eartum, I was told that Ameyo Stella, the Ebola doctor called some of our pastors to come and lay hands on the sick Ebola patients in the wards so that they could recover and then cause a national belief in Jehovah as the omnipotent God, but unfortunately, she said none of them turned up, even the most popular one among them.

Chinese officials have restricted civil servants, students and children in a mainly Muslim region from fasting during Ramadan, government websites said as the holy month began on Monday.

The country’s ruling Communist party is officially atheist and for years has banned government employees and minors from fasting in Xinjiang, home to the more than 10 million-strong mostly Muslim Uighur minority.

It has also ordered some restaurants to stay open.

The region sees regular clashes between Uighurs and state security forces. Beijing has blamed deadly attacks there and elsewhere in China on militants seeking independence for the resource-rich region.

Rights groups blame tensions on religious and cultural restrictions imposed on Uighurs and other Muslim minorities in the vast area, which abuts Central Asia.

Several local government departments in Xinjiang have posted notices on their websites in the last week ordering restrictions on fasting during Ramadan.

During the holy month, the faithful fast from dawn to dusk and strive to be more pious.

“Party members, cadres, civil servants, students and minors must not fast for Ramadan and must not take part in religious activities,” said a notice posted last Thursday on the official website of the city of Korla in central Xinjiang.

“During the Ramadan month, food and drink businesses must not close,” it added.

A Uighur official in the city’s Tiekeqi township named Ahmatjan Tohti told a meeting on Monday last week that officials should “resolutely stop party members, civil servants, students and minors from entering mosques for religious activities” during the month, according to a separate report on the website.

A website run by the education bureau of Shuimogou district in the regional capital Urumqi posted a notice on Monday last week calling for “prevention of students and teachers from all schools from entering mosques for religious activities” during Ramadan.

In the northern city of Altay, officials agreed to “increase contact with parents” to “prevent fasting during Ramadan”, according to a post Friday on the state-run China Ethnicities Religion website.
The website of the Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County government in northwest Xinjiang said Monday that restaurants in the area would be instructed to stay open during Ramadan to “ensure that the broader masses have normal access to cuisine”.

Dilxat Raxit of the World Uyghur Congress, an exile group, condemned the restrictions in an email Monday, adding: “China thinks that the Islamic faith of Uighurs threatens the rule of the Beijing leadership.”

China tightly controls religious groups despite frequently proclaiming that its citizens have freedom of belief.

The top Communist official in Xinjiang, Zhang Chunxian, wished the region’s Muslims “a happy Ramadan”, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

And the country’s State Council or cabinet last Thursday released a white paper which declared that religious freedom in Xinjiang “cannot be matched by any other period in history”.

“During the month of Ramadan, Muslim restaurants can decide whether they want to do business. There will be no interference,” it said.

“Local governments ensure that all religious activities during Ramadan go on in an orderly manner,” it added.
