The IDF is a disciplined side and always take all necessary steps to minimize civillian casualty. The western press are all giving misleading reports of the middle east crises because their respective governments are getting more income from the sale of arms to both parties.

Contrary to all the media reports, isreal is not loosing the war. They are actually being over cautious and hence the increase in casualties on their part. They have the capability of reaching beirut in a week but are stalling to give diplomacy a chance. Hezbollah who CNN show wearing uniform and forming activity are just breaking all the rules of engagement. Prosecuting the war from civillian areas and refusing to wear uniforms - because the lebanese will catch them and kill them theirselves.

Isreal has continually suffered loss in the hands of the Arabs with the exception of Jordan. Their ultimate hope is the annihilation of the jews but it won't work. It is the word of God that they keep fighting each other until the end of time so I think we should leave them.

@Afam; you hit the nail on the head. I don't mind my PC being giving to a mad man because I have access to so many free - of - charge. But the mad man will not derive any benefit from the PC. The palestinians have not utilized the small land giving to them; corruption is the order of the day and without aid from the western world they are hopeless. They have even started fighting themselves. Isreal on the other hand have turned desert lands to beautiful gardens and that is what the palestinians want; but they can't maintain it if giving.

When i hear people talk of pre 1967; I laugh because that cannot happen. I have suggested that the southern part of lebanon be giving to palestinians since the lebanese people are not very serious in controlling that area.
