Business › Re: Is The Nigerian Market Untapped Or Difficult To Tap From? by otokx(m): 2:19pm On Jul 29, 2006
Its difficult to tap from because provision is not made for corruption. Only recently MTN raised alarm on how much diesel it was loosing from its base stations across Nigeria due to pliverage (not theft). Provision can be made for corruption when government makes available such basic infrastructure as electricity, roads and health care.

Politics › Re: How Fayose Looted Ekiti Treasury – Efcc by otokx(m): 9:16am On Jul 28, 2006
I think the headline by punch is very misleading. If he looted the treasury, N100 million is too small to take. It should be how he looted the poultry.
Politics › Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by otokx(m): 9:09am On Jul 28, 2006
i hear his entire family is abroad and that he was staying by himself in 2 duplexes (what a waste) with policemen in the front of the house. that is the bane of the elitist oppressors in nigeria who send and maintain their family outside the country while still trying to rule us.
Politics › Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by otokx(m): 8:32pm On Jul 27, 2006
Politics is not for the feint hearted and Lagos is one of the maddest places to stay in Nigeria.
Politics › Re: How Fayose Looted Ekiti Treasury – Efcc by otokx(m): 8:26pm On Jul 27, 2006
if you add all the money that is said to be stolen, it does not amount to over N100million. Again, will EFCC be able to prove a direct relationship between this funds and the executive governor before 2007? From the ways things are going, there might not be continuity after 2007.

Politics › Re: Chris Okotie (Fresh Party) For President In 2007? by otokx(m): 4:24pm On Jul 26, 2006
Time will reveal the true situations of things. Politically, the hausas and yorubas have advanced themselves so much. Its only in recent times the south - south is being so empowered and that is after taking their lives in their hands. Choosing to ignore this statistics will lead to certain defeat at the polls, OBJ knowledge of hausa was a plus in his second coming even when the yorubas choose to ignore him.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by otokx(m): 11:04am On Jul 26, 2006
There is nothing good in war - especially as shown on CNN. I sympathize with the lebanese woman in pink top who says stop the war. I think the lebanese women are prettier than their Isreali counterparts grin

They can't be relevant to you because your not in the country. How many people in the north speak pidgin english. Have you noticed that bbc in hausa is quite popular? I think the Rev will be good as an Information minister in the next government, better still ambassador to the UK.
