Business › Re: NIBSS: Stop! Or You Drown Us All by otokx(m): 6:37am On Aug 27, 2019

I agree with you on this. I have had some failed transactions but this happens everywhere.

Nigerians need to travel to other African countries to see how far we have gone. I was in Ivory Coast a year ago and they don't have instant payment. It takes a minimum of 2 days or so. I met a Nigerian there and we struck a deal. She gave me her diamond bank account number. I transferred some money and she gave me the equivalent currency at a good rate. The ivorien was shocked at the spread of the whole thing. We were done in 30 mins.

I also spoke with a friend who works in a renowned consulting firm. He says some western countries have visited Nigeria to better understand how we achieved NUBAN. We have really come a long way. We can abuse the previous government all we like but we don't realize how liberal and enabling the environment was.

Sometimes, I wonder what NUBAN would have been like if it was attempted now. Hopefully better.
Thanks so much for this, except for 1 or 2 glitches which were resolved out of over 500 transactions, have not experienced any problems with NIBSS. This looks like a paid write up to discredit the system and possibly bring another though the back door.

Have you ever tried collecting a parcel from the new Peace Logistics?. If the parcel is not important to you, you will leave it there for them. After you give them waybill number, they will ask you where you are expecting the parcel from, what you are expecting & the size of the parcel inorder to help them locate it because they have no system of cataloguing.
They repackaged my cargo after stealing some of the contents, those guys are terrible. The sender had to send the exact quantity that was stolen.

On the contrary, the DISCOS are being very lazy, they should deploy pre paid meters to all households and ensure that there is no bypass in place to steal energy. They should STOP estimated billing.

So Benin disco will be paying the highest rate in the country, when we have the poorest light supply in the country angry talk about rip off by BEDC. Today makes it 9 days straight since we last saw light in my area,it has become a normal occurence to take light for some days every month,i guess they are trying to conserve their mega watts or something undecided. Coupled with the fact that when they eventually decide to give us light, its usually at night when everyone is asleep, they will take it at 6 am before you wake up angry angry angry

Inspite of the fact that we dont have light, they will still bring bill of 10k per month, maybe now they will bring 20k per month lol, they have purposely refused to distribute meters so they can keep ripping Nigerians off.
BEDC again, you guys should protest through your senators, house of rep members, governors, etc.

I really hope this isn't turned on the boy as he might be the one to take the fall.

Cases have happened where out of embarrassment, the father will lock up the Bo and insist that he kidnapped her, charge him to court and leave him there.

But SS1? Jeez, these children these days are growing liver ooooo
When all they do is watch TV, what do you expect? Most of the problems in Nigeria is just down to bad parenting.

And the borders in the Northern part will be free and porous as a leaking roof. Government should focus more attention on the Northern borders and not on Southern Borders. All custom officials are always interested in Lagos and Ogun borders. Probably, that's where the money flows.

Please all the border posts in the North are very important and Government have neglected that part of the borders for so long.

Nobody should read anything ethnic on my post - It is not about it please as Nairaland is usually a play ground for ethnic bigots.
Very correct
