Crime › Re: Another Lady Killed In A Hotel In Port Harcourt, CCTV Captures Killer (Video) by otokx(m): 6:15pm On Sep 18, 2019 |
vivalavida: Most of the hotels in PH are careless then. When two people lodges together, the room number should be noted down. When one is leaving, they should ask about the whereabout of the other person and take him or her to the room to make sure all is okay before you allow him or her leave. Some hotels in lagos won't allow you sign out till they make sure you didn't damage their property. After ascertaining that all is okay,u are now allowed to sign out. If you watch the video, the man went in first then the woman went in later. Most of this "hotels" in Nigeria are just for "short time" purposes. |

iSlayer: Watch the video and see. The guy is a goner.
Modified: Why are people complaining about the quality of the CCTV capture? Nigerians ehn.
That video is enough for a rookie cop to get the psychotic idiot one time! You think the video needs to be HD?! Get real fellas. Watched it myself, except for the small pot belly he has, his shirt and mannerisms it will be hard to arrest him unless somebody who knows him sees the video. There is the burden of proof angle. |

tiwiex: He might not check out. You have the freedom to step out while your guest remains in the room na. I feel your point though.
I think the ID option is a start coupled with CCTV. Visitors to guests must also show some form of ID and it must be captured.
Those are deterrences that can reduce these issues immensely. If all this short time hotels do that in Nigeria, they will go out of business. |
Crime › Re: Port Harcourt Serial Killer: Lady Killed In Hotel In Choba Port Harcourt by otokx(m): 9:57am On Sep 18, 2019 |
Is this story confirmed?
Helena Hotels is a reputable place though as expected it has a mixed clientele.
My number one suspect in all of these has always been Yahoo boys who are now going diabolical and the girls surround them like flies attracted by the money which is why many are just not interested in the death of such. |

Mkpakala: That was the reason I said there are holes in the story. From the facebook account which the blogger pull the story from the sister still claim they brought her home that's how she was able to narrate her ordeal and she was rushed to church where she died. How do you then reconcile these these contradicting tales? Killed both at hotel, bringing her home and one died in church. The real issue in Nigeria is high level of poor mentality powered by poverty, there is an emergency and you take the person home or to the church meanwhile there are government hospitals all over the place which the governor says he has built and commissioned. There are also "free" public schools but the number of children out of school is on the increase especially those who are non indigenes. |

Judybash93: Can you rule out the possibility of the girls being drugged before being dragged into the various hotel rooms where the crimes were committed? Say the truth, nobody was drugged or dragged, the patrons walked past the reception and straight into the room. They may have been drugged in the room but who knows. |
Crime › Re: Who Is The Serial Killer In Port Harcourt Hotels, Killing Many Ladies? (Graphic) by otokx(m): 7:03am On Sep 17, 2019 |
Sagay212: Lock up any hotel where incidents like this happen a d arrest all the workers and owners. By the time you do this to 3 or more hotels, others will take more strict security measures. Lock up fire, where will they keep them? Most of this "hotels" thrive because men take their side Chic's there for paroles. These are not mainstream, real hotels. |
