back in the days when i was an undergraduate in uniport we did a course fortran 77 CSC 280.1 "csc" has always been the course coding for computer science with c for computer and sc for science.

Over a 100 of the basic students admitted already have admission via JAMB in uniport, some 50 others have in other universities so in effect BASIC really did not over admit. For professional courses like dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, nursing and engineering the quotas i guess were strictly maintained so chill. It is however a shame that any student in basic will be unable to get above 180 in JAMB but the university will have a solution to that.

have no information on certificate program, why did you not go for the basic program? The basic program is better organized, they even have a separate building dedicated for them.

I have no information on Basic though word on the street is that the matter has since been concluded. In Basic you hit the ground running, no time to dull. The new Basic students should start lectures within 2 weeks of writing their screening test.
