Nigeria has addressed its health care issues, even in that your US of A, people still fall ill and die in their thousands. We get medical care at affordale rates here. The same Nigerian doctors traines here still go and excel in the US system so don`t tell us otherwise. We rebuke the spirit of colonial mentality. |
Uyi Iredia: What we have are something a little above dispensaries , not hospitals.please we have world class hospitals. The university teaching hospital in Port Harcourt is a center of excellence and is affordable for the middle class. |
Fela sang - they leave sorrow, tears and blood, their regular trade mark. |
How can you say Nigeria has no health care system. Are you saying there are no doctors, nurses, hospitals or what? |
dgifted: ,soundtruth may know better |
The Anambra people will ultimately vote in whosoever they wish. |
straight through the heart sounds like the Law of Karma things. Truth be told i don't believe this tale. |
This story has no head or tail. |
kabinet stop spamming this thread. |
Leave them, who no like better thing? They said Lagos is Igbo land na, so Port Harcourt must be the capital of eastern Nigeria. |
Talk all you can, actions speak louder. Was it not how they talked about orient refinery? The days of big shams and scams e.g. Ajaokuta Steel and Kaduna refinery are over. If you can't build at the source of the resource, do not bother building at all unless you want to build a muesuem monument. Shell and Chevron know the right thing to do. Kudos to them both. |
Let them keep talking; if you like build the largest refinery on planet earth; just make sure the pipelines are not coming from the niger delta oil fields. |
Olokola is really another Ajaokuta, the days of injustice are over. They want to pipe gas from we delta to far away Ogun state, not God but we forbid. Koko is there, Sapele and Brass are also there, Ibaka too is there. |
Port Harcourt - centre of excellence. |
Some are now saying its OBJ. |
Many states are suffering under tyrants who pose as Governors, Kogi and Kwara come to mind. The other day Gov Amaechi passed our house and not a single siren was heard. Though the convoy was more than 10 toyota jeeps, but for the government house ambulance amongst them you may not have known it was the governor. The road was and is still bad sha - sad reminder of poor leadership. |
The militarization of Delta State is quite unsettling and was noticed in my last visit. Full stone and sandbag roadblocks on a federal express road complete with guard house gave a picture of a state at war. There were many others on major local roads causing traffic jams. Funny enough the back roads were empty which makes nonsense of the show of force in front. Delta State is really at war, kidnapping is at an all time high, the localities have to get together chase out such bad elements and burn down their houses. You guys should travel to places like Uyo, Calabar and Port Harcourt to understand your predicament. We did not see any soldier manhandling any body. |
This story is not adding up. Why are people blaming Jonathan? |
carrybreeze: WE JUST GOT A 300KVA REPLACED WITH A 500KVA. THE SAD NEWS IS THAT THE AREA BOYS HAVE REFUSED THE CONTRACTORS TO GET THE TRANSFORMER WORKING. REASON: ALL LANDLORDS MUST PAY FOR THE 'BUSH ENTRY' OF THE TRANSFORMER...TRUST CHOBA BOYS...MEKA!then you guys gonna roast in darkness, no light in uniport all through today and also on Monday, same for Aluu and our transformers are intact. |
miss universe: Accomodation.paid b4 booking;i'v booked over 4tyms buh paymemt stil nt reflecting.take a trip to Jamaica ... oops... ICTC |
Olly barbie219: Team uniport hw farrr, where una dey? Any update on uniport's congress? The University of Port Harcourt local chapter of ASUU voted overwhelmingly to suspend the over 4 months strike. |
This state has quiet yet deadly people; see as they are killing themselves. |
Orlando Owoh: It's because the tendency of you Igbo to always claim you own everything that made the Rivers State Government to change the names of some streets named after Igbo to those of Rivers men. They think its a game of monopoly. |
No pictures ? |
atlwireles: Why not, they should allow airlines land where they want. The more the better, it will begin to push down airline ticket prices into this country.it will destroy our local airlines and lead to massive loss of jobs. |
The Villagers should find out from the ombatse people how to secure themselves. This is the time for David Mark and Suswam to show their worth. |
miss universe: Greetings Bro Otokx.i'm still locked in my cage;days ve turned weeks and nw months buh nothing have been said, guess i'm being a nuisance.........What is the issue? |
A hard way to learn but people will still not take instruction. |
akandea: Except you have an issue with the bible! A woman can not lead or direct in the church where there are men 1 Tim 2:9- 15 ; 1 cor 14: 34 -36 was explicit enough.no be small thing o |
revolt: The ph I grew up in is 98% igbo owned, after stealing our proptyz whch u called abandoned u fink kama wud let u go scotfree! Tht ediat claimn igbos took over ph land by force in da old eastern region would do us good to explain y even with abandoned property n job subsidy the ogonis aren't even up to the itsekiris abi na onli ogoni land fed govt dey drill! They are a lazy bunch. If igbos could lose properties to them(thanks to sarowiwa) and yet build the greater phc then they hve no case. We all want out of the present naija status quo but ogoni laziness is xtremewhy not 100% owned? |
