We had the first rain for 2010 in Port Harcourt today and my mind went to the roads which are supposed to be under construction. During the festive periods when the town was largely empty, the contractors also went on holidays and nothing was achieved.

Funny enough i have all 3 connections - MTN, GLO and STARCOMMS. These connections are all location dependent - the fact that its good at my official residence in UNIPORT does not mean it will work well at my office in the same UNIPORT. MTN for now is the best followed by STARCOMMS, it may interest you to note that one cannot open all sites in MTN one of which is www.starcomms.com, GLO is not serious for now in this area but it appears you can access all sites on GLO.

There should not be any pot hole in any road in the metropolis but oh well let us see.

I stay in Port Harcourt; to all you peeps don't be deceived, AMAECHI can do much more than he is currently doing. Things are not as beautiful as we are made to believe here.

The more i hear of the wonders in Lagos state the more embarrassed i become for other governors who are going about doing advertisement on CNN and the rest of them. Here in Rivers State, the government awards contracts to some people without pedigree and they go on public holidays leaving the work undone. Before it was rain is falling now that we are inside harmattan, these criminals and political jobbers have been on break from the time of the prophets birthday till this christmas and up into new year. The government meanwhile has become a spectator in the whole drama now am hearing four hundred and something billion.

I have noticed that most of the guys around me who have girlfriends coming over to stay for the weekend do these things - wash all his clothes, cook the food and clean the whole house, then at night the guy does quite a good job in a conducive environment. Now one of them eventually got married and then turned around to start trying the stunt of she cannot bla bla bla, of course when the matter came out she had no support in the entire estate. As we all were witnesses to what she used to do before hand. She was even trying to suggest that the guys junior brother move out bla bla bla, that the guys junior brother should wash his plates bla bla bla but we all knew that before the marriage she was washing all the plates including the junior brothers own so why this change of mouth afterwards.

I have been looking for you everywhere.
