Demolaeby: A stockbroker is charging me an annual fee of 500k as his professional fees and brokerage fees. Is it the proper way to engage a stockbroker for his professional advice. Do they charge so high like this. He told me the fee is subject to review at the end of every year are they managing your portfolio for you? If there are losses at the end of the year, will the fee still be taken or will you be reimbursed? Is it not better to take a percentage of the portfolio gains for the year to ensure that he is motivated to perform? |
