Talking on merit, Peter Obi is a great choice. But strategically, it is not the best choice for the win. |
Politics / Re: Atiku's And Buhari's VP Do Not Matter In The Political Equation by otukpo(f): 6:39pm On Oct 12, 2018 |
As per the election, It matters. But as per usefulness to the region after winning., nothing. A VP from the SWest for Atiku would have given Buhari the Ambode treatment in 2019. |

Politics / Re: Obasanjo's Endorsement Of Atiku Will Not Distract President Buhari by otukpo(f): 4:22pm On Oct 12, 2018 |
LordBaelish: One thing that Buhari, his spokespersons, and some of his die-hard supporters failed to realise, is that Buhari's occupation of Aso Rock was temporal. They took Nigerians for granted and was too inconsiderate with their utterances. Buhari has failed woefully, he disappointed some who felt he could be a better option than his predecessor, and proved right, those who maintained that he is never an option for a Nigerian president. The level of division, hunger, disunity, hopelessness, that we have witnessed in Nigeria in the past threes years has never been seen before. They can come with all sorts of propaganda to discredit Atiku. But Atiku remains a better candidate to Buhari, anyday, anytime. |

The South West should continue with their empirical analysis. Atiku should just be politically wise in picking his VP. I have never been a fan of Atiku, but for this election, as long as the contest is between Atiku and the monumental failure presently occupying Aso Rock, Atiku will have my vote. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I disagree with the OP completely. As long as the South East is still part of Nigeria, the Igbos should continue to participate in the election. I have never been a fan of Atiku, but for this election, as long as the contest is between Atiku and the monumental failure presently occupying Aso Rock, Atiku will have my vote. 5 Likes |

Atiku need to pick a running mate from the South West.
That will give him an easy ride to Aso rock come 2019. Already, the Northern votes will go to Atiku 70% The South Eastern / South South votes will go to Atiku 90% North central votes 90% Where Buhari still has many sympathizers is in the South West. And that is mainly for Osibanjo. A strong credible candidate for vp slot from the South West will scatter their votes The South East can be given Secretary to the government. That will do for the region for now. The collective target for now should be to send Buhari back to Daura. |
