It's simple. The population of the UAE is 9.3 million.

You can see that China has the largest economy but the per capita income of China is $7,594 while that of USA, the world's second largest economy is $54,629. All this are 2014 figures. So the size of the economy does not really affect the life of the average common man.
What counts is per capita.

The video man risked his life to get that video. He was hiding in the bush,using camera with long lens. We should be grateful he was able to capture this atrocity. Copies have been made available to the police but so far,they have pretended not to know or care.

We have just received this video,which purportedly shows the burial of the abobaku. If true, then it's sickening!!!

This follows the earlier alleged escape and recapture of the man upon hearing of the Oba’s death on several media platforms, despite denials by the Traditional Royal Council of Ife. The Abobaku is believed to have been appointed to live and die with the Ooni .


According to Yoruba tradition, a king does not die alone. His burial rites include being buried with other people.

Yesterday, as announced by his family and Ife traditional chiefs the Ooni was buried. Unconfirmed sources posit that the abobaku was interred alongside the late Oba.The traditional burial rites, has been described as barbaric in several quarters.

A girl who managed to escape from a boko haram hideout has revealed how the sect's leader Abubakar Shekau treated her while he held her as his slave , also claiming that she was pregnant for the insurgent.

Abusidiqu gives her name as Meenah Dawah and says says she escaped BOko Haram camp earlier this year in an exclusive chat with IQ4News’ Prince Dickson.

Dawah was forced to watch as her parents were killed in front of her at 17 years old when the Boko Haram insurgents invaded her village in Konduga town, northern Nigeria. After 27 months under Shekau she escaped a Boko Haram camp when it was invaded by military forces and now claims she is carrying Shekau’s child.

She claimed the children born to Boko Haram commanders and members were under her watch. She also recalled how she would hear different girls scream as they were raped and was sometimes made to watch how girls were tortured for refusing to change their faith to Islam.

She recalls how she would be randomly visited by Boko Haram commanders for sex and during one of such visits she was visited by Abubakar Shekau, who had sex with her.

“He would just appear from nowhere like a ghost. He seems to be panicking all the time and issuing instructions. He is a softly spoken man – it is almost as if he whispers, if you are meeting him for the first time, you would never be scared of him.

“But I soon learned that after every whisper something dangerous would happen somewhere in Nigeria. Depending on the camp, some of the camps have everything, electricity, water and television, with different kind of electronics.

“He once asked me if I was willing to fight for the cause, to which I answered no, he told me I could be a fighter and a domestic slave. I didn’t want to speak to him in case what I said offended him.
“All it would take was one wrong word and he would have had me killed. I thought he was drinking or taking something whenever he came, one could notice maybe he lost men or something was not right. We moved a lot and depending on the camp, my role varied, it was so tough travelling around with a baby strapped to my back.

“Abu has many kids from many different women. Some of us women would go to Maiduguri to buy things when we have shortage, and a commander or two would follow us, and we acted as decoy when villages are ambushed.

“I’d be sent in to talk to people, then they’d move in behind me and start killing.Some of us girls would also have to carry guns, and often bombs too, there was this girl, she was forced to carry a rocket-propelled grenade launcher on her shoulder, then we had few men in that particular camp, ” she said.

Mexico mounted an all-out manhunt Sunday for its most powerful drug lord, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, who escaped from a maximum security prison through a 1.5-kilometer (1 mile) tunnel from a small opening in the shower area of his cell, according to the country's top security official.

The elaborate underground escape route, built allegedly without the detection of authorities, allowed Chapo Guzman to do what Mexican officials promised would never happen after his re-capture last year — slip out of one of the country's most secure penitentiaries for the second time.

"This represents without a doubt an affront to the Mexican state," said President Enrique Pena Nieto, speaking during a previously scheduled trip to France. "But I also have confidence in the institutions of the Mexican state ... that they have the strength and determination to recapture this criminal."

If Guzman is not caught immediately, the drug lord will likely be back in full command and control of the Sinaloa Cartel in 48 hours, said Michael S. Vigil, a retired U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration chief of international operations.

"We may never find him again," he said. "All the accolades that Mexico has received in their counterdrug efforts will be erased by this one event."

Thirty employees from various part of the Altiplano prison, 55 miles (90 kilometers) west of Mexico City, have been taken in for questioning, according to the federal Attorney Generals Office.

A manhunt began immediately late Saturday for Guzman, whose cartel is believed to control most of the major crossing points for drugs at the U.S. border with Mexico.

Guatemala's Interior Ministry said a special task force of police and soldiers were watching Mexico's southern border for any sign of fugitive drug lord.

To the north, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch issued a statement offering "any assistance that may help support his swift recapture,"

Associated Press journalists near Altiplano saw the roads were being heavily patrolled by federal police, with numerous checkpoints and a Blackhawk helicopter flying overhead. Flights were also suspended at Toluca's international airport near the penitentiary in the State of Mexico, and civil aviation hangars were being searched.

Guzman was last seen about 9 p.m. in the shower area of his cell, according to a statement from the National Security Commission. After a time, he was lost by the prison's security camera surveillance network. Upon checking his cell, authorities found it empty and a 20-by-20-inch (50-by-50 centimeter) hole near the shower.

Guzman's escape is a major embarrassment to the Pena Nieto administration, which had received plaudits for its aggressive approach to top drug lords. Since the government took office in late 2012, Mexican authorities have nabbed or killed six of them, including Guzman.

Guzman faces multiple federal drug trafficking indictments in the U.S. as well as Mexico, and was on the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's most-wanted list.

After Guzman was arrested on Feb. 22, 2014, the U.S. said it would file an extradition request, though it's not clear if that happened.

The Mexican government at the time vehemently denied the need to extradite Guzman, even as many expressed fears he would escape as he did in 2001 while serving a 20-year sentence in the country's other top-security prison, Puente Grande, in the western state of Jalisco.
