Politics10 Nigerian Soldiers Killed In Fresh Ambush – Report by ourema(op): 8:10pm On Sep 30, 2020
Jihadists have killed 10 Nigerian soldiers in an ambush near the town of Marte in the Lake Chad region, two security sources said Wednesday. Fighters from the Islamic State West Africa Province carrying machine guns and rocket- propelled grenades on Tuesday opened fire on a military convoy on a “logistics supply mission”, they said. “The terrorists killed 10 soldiers, including two officers, in the ambush,” one of the sources, told AFP. Eight soldiers were injured, said a second source who gave the same death toll. The convoy was on its way to deliver food and other supplies to troops in the region when it was attacked, said the sources who asked not to be identified. The insurgents looted the supplies and set two trucks ablaze before retreating into the bush, they said. They said the attack could be a reprisal for recent aerial bombings on the group’s camps in the Marte region in which several members, including three commanders, were killed. ISWAP split from main Boko Haram faction in 2016. It has camps in islands on Lake Chad and the marshy area is known to be the group’s bastion.

It's not good at all. Some of these pensioners their pension are as little as N12,000.00 per month. The governor should look into the problem of the people who have worked for many years.

We want Nigeria to be as developed as the "sane countries" abroad.

But we don't want to pay the price like the citizens of those "sane countries" abroad.

If we don't pay the price, how can Nigeria be as developed as those "sane countries" abroad?
Was this what you believed in 2012?
PoliticsRe: IPMAN Backs Fuel Hike, Says Members Will Not Be Part Of NLC Strike by ourema(f):
Enter full deregulation and float the naira. The keys to development. The present policy makers like Tinubu, Bakare, Buhari, Osho, Soyinka etc they all made a mistake in 2012 in protesting against the deregulation.
PoliticsRe: 2023: I Pity A Southern President. by ourema(f): 6:25pm On Sep 26, 2020
mekaboy:
I seriously pity a southern Nigerian who would emerge president of Nigeria in 2023. With the level of insecurity we have on our hands now, especially in the North, the cloud of smoke from attack will make him be seen as incompetent.

History will repeat itself and he will be called weak and incompetent like GEJ.

The terror groups that were groomed in the North to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ, have grown bigger after Gej left office.

The level of funding they have received since then till date is massive. They have also become so sophisticated and daring.

See the way they are killing and kidnapping security agents, imagine what will happen if/when are southerner takes over power.

Considering the effect of inexperience and poor management of the nations economy under this administration, the southern president will be caught between spending scarce resources to restore the nation or using same to fight terrorism.
I am of the same opinion with you

It's really inconsequential the political party Obaseki ended up with but the lesson learned is most important. Let us look at some of those lessons 1. Godfathererism is gradually going 2. With determination you can succeed 3 Ambode made a mistake by not making an effort to fight 4. Go close to the people make them trust you and you can go on to win

This is my opinion.
