Apart from this current case the Rivers State governor performance is below that of his predecessor Amaechi. Employment his rating is below the previous government, Workers promotion and Pensioner gratuity is very poor If you are not from Rivers State and a Civil Servant don't mention me. I am from Rivers State and a civil servant and above all non partisan 41 Likes 9 Shares |

This is serious. When the incidence of BH started the average Northerner thought it was a good idea to punish the GEJ Administration. In fact if the BH had been dealing with Christians alone there would not have been problem. Today the story is different, the BH they pampered have been emboldened, the rooster had come to roost. 4 Likes |

delana: I certainly believe you are a doctor, would you say that you would have spent less if you had been schooled in the UK or US? On standard of education abroad and in the country how come foreign countries recruit Nigerian medical doctors even though they are products of poor education and training. I know for sure that foreign countries would never bother to look at Nigeria if they don't have quality services from them |
Health / Re: Nigerian Doctors: We Shed Tears Of Joy After Receiving First Pay In Saudi Arabia by ourema(f): 8:22am On Aug 29, 2021 |
I took the time to read through the article, I am wondering what the government need to do. But as if I don't know, you see so long as political office holders continue their medical jamboree outside the country things will never change. But on the other hand, there is the issue of the subsidy on the cost of going through the medical school in Nigeria. That on one side, the Doctors should also consider the health of Nigerians. Like one chap suggested above, Nigeria can utilize the opportunity to produce more doctors and export them but they should also be willing to give back to the nation the money they've been given in Nigeria during their medical school years when the cost of their schooling was subsidized 2 Likes |

I think what the Presidency should do after signing into Law this Bill is sensitization of the public what the public will expect from the signing. Many Nigerians don't know what the Bill is all about. They only know 30% for North and 3% for South. Few others understand it as removal of fuel subsidy. So the government need to do a big work. The 3 mentioned areas above were the two least of the PIB from my understanding. |

I would not be surprised to see that the Rivers State government negotiated with Berger for the poor salaries so the added amount can be paid to the government contractors. |
