na wa o. This format rich die. But dem no go succeed. Lets the news spread and our people shud be aware of the new tricks. |
Let me clerify all you guys on something, I'll highly recommend that you guys should be in ghana at least 1 day before the exam. We all know that ghana is a neighbouring country but thats not a reason why you must plan to leave on the 10th while you are to register for your exams on the 11th by 7:30 am in the morning. Have you guys forgotten that you will still need time to change your currency at the exchange park in tudu, accra ? Have you guys forgotten that if you really wanna pass the exam, ghana will be a convinience place for you to refresh on your reading materials and to exchange ideas with your fellow nigerians who are also taking the exams ? Also to locate the place before the day of registration in order to avoid regrets of catching up the registration late ? The idea of going there on the 10th is considered risky to me. I will recommend going at highest on the 9th but it will not be possible since on the 9th is the presidential election day and movement will not be allowed. If you even considered on the 8th which is on friday, it is not also possible because the border will be closed for the sake of the election. So the safest time to go will be on the 7th. I know this will be an incovenience to many of us, but if you really know what you want, you should know what to do with this info that I have dropped here. And for your infomation, you guys should also be aware that you are to book at least, 2days before your departure day at the booking centre (amuwo odofin. That is if you want to use abc). We all need to share ideas not only on these forum, but also in physical. As for me, i'll be booking mine on tuesday by 10am, i tink i will be in their park at abc. So i will highly recommend that u guys should go on thursday, which is on the 7th and not on 8th and 9th since it will be closed for the election. I also dont like the idea of leaving on the 7th, but I have no choice and will not want to risk myself because its my first time to ghana. Think about it |
@capti Will the case studies (the essay part) of the reading materials still be available to us in the entrance exam day ? Or they will just set question from it in a sense that you should have studied it already. |
@ capti thanks very much, you've clerify me alot. But na wa o, na only 15 question dem go set from the IB reading material for the entrance exam, dem come pile up a textbook for us to read. The scope fit be say dem no go set d same question for all applicant i think. And also, for other finnips exam locations, the question go different. Not bad sha so make una read everything o, in case dem give u question from any angle, u go fit tackle am. Na my own advise be that. @mafia guy u neva even start to read at all, na wa 4 u o, e be like say u no ready for this exam, we wey don start for like months now still neva master am. Act fast o !!! |
Is Anybody here that really understands the reading material for international business fully ? I really don't understand it hundred percent especially from page 56 (BUSINESS AND SOCIETY) and also, anybody has idea how the essay is gonna be ? Because in my invitation letter, they stipulated that the essay will be from the IB reading material without stating the specific area or topic of which the essay is gonna come out from, because if they do, it will be an advantage for us to fully understand the area much. Will the essay be an option for us to choose ? For exam, maybe they will set case louhi, case tapio, case aino bank for us to write on. Because if the case is gonna be like this, it will be advisable to study a part in a believe that you will write about the part of which you studied. And also, what are the discussion that are to be discussed in the group interview parts ? Thats the section that has much point than others. Whats also gonna be the topic to write on in the motivational letter parts ? I think a person who has done the entrance examination before will be in the best position to answer this question for the benefits of others. |
@capti, tanks for the info, its makin tins easy nw na to carry naira go in cash b dat. Are you guys aware that you are to register via email first before the registration in ghana ? I just wish that the exam should be on the 12th of april, since the registration will be on the 11th of april. And its like the whole uas in finland will be arranging their entrance togeda in the same place and the same date, |
50 euro pass 10000, hust go convert am 4 oanda. Even 100 naira equals to 1 new ghana cedi and we are expected to bring 110 new ghana cedi to the registration day, so calculate am and know wats up. Hope say expo go dey for the exam. Lol |
@mafiaguy why don't you just try reading the material that I gave to you ? Maths is most of us problem but u must study to show yourself approved. Try solving the maths on your own or get a tutor to help you to master it if you really wanna be in finland. The exams part that will be out will be similarities if what is in rhe past questions. Also try brushing up in percentage, distance and related logical question. At least we for they thank God say na even objective. If na theory, wetin u wan do ? An f**k up(God forbid) be dat o !!!! So just read, heaven help those who help themselves. |
@choose4me. I'm not talking bout the overall score. I'm talking bout the subject specific. Dats wats written in my invite from jamk |
anybody in the house that has done the exam before ? There will be just 15 question from the reading material provided (too small lol) and an essay, nd u must pass at least 5 out of the 15 to get to d minimum point expected from d section. Same tin 4 maths also, there will be 20 questions and u are expected to score at least 7 to get to the minimum point. Make una dey study hard o |
@callygood. How far ? Na kemi tornio be your choice choice ? Na only them invite you 4 entrance ? E be like say kemi tornio dey find student. Their student population na just 2000 plus, even my guy wey apply with ielts 5.0 with neco statement of result was even invited. Na dem dey know the criteria wey dem take dey select student sha. |
the past questions of the maths part has been uploaded. So you shud download it and go through it |
@mafia guy, it has been forwarded to ur email address |
As for now, we are only given details about registering for the exams and only the registration centre (great hall, accra polytechnic, barnes road, opposite novotel hotel, tudu, accra, ghana), date (april 11th) and procedures(as prescibe in the invitation letter) for the exam registration are been given out, it may still be the venue for the exam, i don't know yet but you will be given all the neccesary info after registering for the exams. And pls note, this info and address may only be applicable to my chosen uas so it should not be relied upon unless you choose jamk. But by now, invite for IB has already been sent out from jamk. |
i will forward it sooner, According to a friend in finland, he said when he did his exams the next day after registering for the entrance. Maybe the same scheme should be used this time, but i believe that its not gonna be later than 5 days. |
maybe you guys dhould book your ticket to ghana using this link. http://ebooking.abctransport.com/ is like the fee for just a trip is 8000 naira, but if its a return ticket, its 13400, cheap though. Just check the link |
I already received my attachment. the fee stated in the invitation is 50euro approximately 110 new ghana cedi (as written in the inv letter). The exact date has not being announced in the invitation letter yet. But the procedure (according to my inv letter from jamk) is that you must be in ghana and register for the exam by 11th april with your 110 new ghana cedi by 8am, then after the registration, the exact date for the exam will be announced there. As simple as that. |
@mafia guy. Jamk sent me d invite, but its for two uas. Jamk and kemi tornio. I did not download d maths past question from the web. It was forwarded to me by a vietnam friend currently studying in jamk. |
