I'm 24 years of age finished nysc and graduated a couple of years ago. Job searching but nothing tangible out of it.

I'm opportuned as my family members are ready to sponsor me to study abroad but we're not rich just a average Nigeria family who can raise funds to do it. But the thing is that I'm having double minds as to whether to lobby and pay for a federal government job or start making plans to leave naija but the problem is that the money is there but no connect there.

What do you think I should decide ON?

Whether to stay in naija and lobby for a federal job or Start making plans to go abroad? But the thing is that we can gather the money to buy a slot if possible but no connect.

Please moderators give your opinions.
Whom do you want to pay for the fg job? Have it at the back of your mind that 90% of those that claim to sell slot are scammers. They will sell fake appointment to you and you won't be able to do anything. Even if you catch them and arrest them with police, your money won't still enter your hand again. Therefore, I urge caution. If you can go for your masters in UK, US, Australia, Germany or Canada, do not hesitate to get out. Leave FG jib for politician children and relatives.

What cold? Your uncle is wicked and selfish. He doesn't just want to help you. The wahala wey you dey face for Nigeria no pass the cold? Abi how many Nigerians have you heard that died as a result of the cold? Why haven't your uncle retuned back to Nigeria? Why is he still there? Guy, if you have the chance to leave Nigeria legitimately, pls do. An uncle of mine that lives in UK is trying to connect me to some jobs in Nigeria but he said his priority to see that that I leave this country and join him over there....

paulolee:
peak isnt measured by years bro....wwyne rooney passed his peak before 30 and dts when players like vardy n drogba reached thiers..
So are you trying to tell me Alaba is no longer good? If he has passed his peak, Bayern wouldn't have offered him an improved contract neither would Madrid consider buying him. Alaba is a world class player and still at his best.

THEGALADIMA:
I actually wanted to tackle you, but then I thought again......... he's from Austria not Germany, he has not won any titles with his national team.
So my brother the title on most successful player of Naija descent should still be 1. John Obi Mikel
2. Nwankwo KANU
3. Emmanuel Adebayor etc.
Alaba has a total of 27 trophies and he is still going to win more considering the fact that he is 29. John Mikel obi has 11 major trophies... Alaba has won more individual awards than those three you listed...Has more major trophies than the three combined. You are even funny for mentioning Adebayor. On what ground? There are legends that never won international trophies e.g Maldini, John Terry Lampard, Giggs, Gerrard e.t.c In fact, Kanu Nwankwo never won a major trophy with the super eagles....

alaba is 29 years n have passed his peak n dts bayern refused him a contract unlike d case of ramos
am a barca fan n barca self did same mistake for dt suarez last season to get aguero dis year....both de confused
Bayern refused Alaba a contract? You clearly don't know what you are saying. He was offered an improved contract at Bayern so many times, but he told them his mind is made up to play another league. By the way, At 29, Alaba is still at is peak. You mean Van dyke of Liverpool has also pass his peak? Because he is also 29.

What about dele ali
So England should continue calling a bench warmer and a player that is not inform? Even Nigerian has stopped calling players that switched to Nigeria because they are not in form e.g Bryan Idowu, Sone Aluko, Cyril Dessers and so many others...
In your words, have they been dumped too by Nigeria? So far Saka is always in form, they will continue calling him. When Welbeck was playing day in day out for Manchester, he was always invited (he had 47 caps)... Sterling is also black but he is always being called because he is in form and playing regularly for his club....

TravelRe: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by Overthemoonman: 7:21pm On Jul 15, 2021
Good evening everyone... My post would be a bit long
To start with, I don't even have a passport because I never thought I could even have a chance to leave this country...Thank God recently I got in touch with my father's elder brother that lives in U.K, that I never knew before or even about his existence (my dad died when I was still in primary school). Thanks be to God, he has been helping my mum and I financially.

I am a graduate of Public Administration (2:1). He has tried to use his contact in Nigeria to get me a job but all to no avail. All these while, I never showed any interest of coming to UK (I don't want to be too forward)... So yesterday, we got talking, he asked me if I am interested in coming over, which I told him yes... So he told me, the easiest way to come in here legally is through school... So he suggested me coming for my M.sc

So my questions are these

How easy is it to get admission to a school over there
What course and university would you advise I apply
How am I to go about the admission application process (though he said something about September and January admission)
Generally, what do I need to know (I have gone through this thread but I am confused with so many things here..) I would be glad if someone can explain some things I just need to know...

Also, when it comes to payment, will he have to be sending the money to me or he will be the one to be doing it himself over there..

I have no idea how all these visa things work... I never believed I could ever have a chance to leave the country reason why I never bothered myself to research about these stuffs.

Thank you very much.

I'll teach you my strategies. You'll trade 24/7 in shifts.

You graduate after 3 months and you have to go on and teach 10 people each.

N6,000 will give you over 1.2 million SAFEMOON token if you buy now. It is still very early. I bought 2million token for around N9,500 today. If I had bought it last week, it would have been 12million token.

If 1 SAFEMOON hits 0.01dollar I.e 4.71 naira, you would be worth 1.2million * 4.71 = 5.6million naira.

If you already have a verified binance account, download Bitmart app and transfer USDT from your Binance USDT wallet to your Bitmart's USDT wallet. Then buy SAFEMOON with your USDT on Bitmart.

Buy USDT on Binance via P2p
Like how many dollars do you advise one to buy...

Thanks sir.

Leave teaching work alone and face other hustles brother. I just resigned from my teaching work... No regrets. The work over stressful. Imagine, I was taking my over 500 students for 30+ thousand... The stress no be here my brother. The teaching is not even the problem but the marking of notes, test, workbooks assignments and some other things. The Money doesn't worth it.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Have You Quit Your Job Before Because You Were Fed Up? by Overthemoonman: 10:53pm On Apr 22, 2021
Incognito403:
I quit my job without hope of another job. Today, I'm living better than I ever thought. And it's not just me. I have many friends who did such, too.

Note: all my friends and I are into pure legit hustles.

You must be wondering where the motivation came from. It's simple. When you look at your current miserable job, pay and standard of living then look at people who have spent all their lives in that career/job but none of them's life is close to what you want for yourself 10yrs from now let alone 35yrs from now, then you know you're not on the right track.

It's simple.
Reason why I am planning not to resume in the school that I am teaching. I have been there for 4 years, but no any iota of improvement. I look at people that have been in that school for more than 10 to 15 years, nothing to show for it. Of course, people have been saying things like "Get another job first" "Continue managing this one" "No job out there" and some other bla bla bla....Thank God, I have saved enough in my account that can last me for more than a year or two asides from the money I invested in crypto. I just feel I need to leave and explore other options. A job that barely affords me the time to do other things if not for the fact that I am the stubborn type and usually go out for some of my side hustles damming any consequences. I have also set aside money that I will still be giving to my mum every month because she has been the discouraging me not to leave basically because of the money I give her monthly. She feel if I leave that job, that money might not come in again. I am not even going to tell her this time around that I am leaving. There are some jobs one need to leave when you are becoming comfortable on it most especially when the pay is nothing to write home about and career growth isn't there. So of my colleagues that are married are stucked because it isn't easy for a married man to just quit his job.
