Ronaldo is using, by conserving his energy, in being absent in most league and cup games and reserve all his energy for the big price i.e. UCL., and not getting burnout towards the end of the season after single handedly carrying the team.

But then, if you've observed Messi, you'll know he cannot pretend on the pitch, if he's tired, he is tired, if he's weak, he's weak.

Its just a pity that we use him exhaustively ever since Neymar departed. He cannot rest even when he needs it because we always rely on him, without him the team becomes just a pack of deadbeats.
