7Alexander:
What you are about to read happened to me last week, I just had to bring it here, because the more I try to wrap my head around it, the more questions comes to mind.

About a month ago I moved to another city, but considering its a totally different culture, I have just been gradually trying to settle in. So, on Tuesday Last week, I noticed a plumbing issue in my room, for which I went to seek the caretaker who lives within the compound. I later found him in one of the rooms trying to fix some things for another new tenant who I will refer to as Sandra henceforth. I laid my complaints to the man and briefly spoke with Sandra who told me aje was an undergraduate.

About an hour later, the caretaker came to my room to checkout the problem I was having, Sandra came with him, and as we were making small talks, she walked into my kitchen and pointed out that my pots and other cooking utensils were still new and unused, then i told her I haven't started cooking because I don't know my way around yet, so I haven't been to the market. She then offered to go to the market with me whenever I was ready.

The next day being Wednesday I made a list of things to buy, among which were some packaged and canned foods, for this we went to a mall. After picking the items, we had to join the queue at the payment point, while there, I remembered some things which I needed but haven't included in my list, so I handed over my ATM card to Sandra and gave her the PIN considering it was almost our turn in the queue, then went to pick those things. Now, I did this because, I didn't want a situation where after paying for the original items, I will have to join a fresh queue with the new items. Although I came back just as she was about to pay, so I was able to include the new items, we laid and left. Suffice to say that I had her pick one or two things for herself.

On getting home, I immediately went to an ATM and changed my PIN, just to be safe.

Two days later, Sandra came to my room sound 7:15pm telling me she wanted to go buy relaxer and shampoo but as its getting dark that she can't go alone, and she asked that I come with her, I obliged, as you would expect.

After buying the shampoo, we started heading home. Now, there are two possible routes home, the sandy road which was nearer and the tarred road which was farther, Sandra then insisted we take the tarred road saying she didn't want sand on her feet, but that was the route we took while going.

Just as we approached my compound, 3 guys rounded us up and told us to handover everything we had on us. I have to point out that after this whole incident, I could recall that while we were walking home, Sandra was texting on her phone and kept looking back. When one of the guys made the request, Sandra now asked them 'for what' immediately one of the guys landed her a slap and pushed her down. Then he turned to me and gave me a blow to the mouth saying I was wasting his time, then he reached for my back pocket and retrieved my wallet, then he asked me the PIN, I gave him a wrong PIN the first time and this was met with a hot slap to my face, then he asked again and i gave him the same PIN again, then he gave me a kick to the hip, I was almost paralyzed, he now grabbed my throat, I had no choice than to give him the real PIN, then he left me and they ran off. Interestingly, the PIN I gave to him was the old PIN which I changed few days ago, but my intention was not to lie, in fact I meant to tell the truth, but then that PIN had stuck to my memeory as I have been using it for the past 3 years.

Immediately they left, I made a dash for my room, with Sandra in hot pursuit, but I didn't let her come to my room with me, I called the bank Customer Service and told them to block my card, although the thieves had the wrong PIN, I felt they could still compromise the card.

The next day, Sandra was in my room and she kept trying to get me to talk about the incident of the last day, but I wasnt interested, she kept asking me, if the PIN I gave them was the right one, I mean it should be, after all that was the right PIN as far as she knew, she asked if I could recognize the guys, I said no, she asked if its possible for the card to be hacked without the PIN, I was just acting ignorant, but I've already started having my reservations about her.

Later, I decided out of curiosity to check Sandra out on Facebook, while checking the photos on her profile, I saw pictures she took and uploaded with the same guy that slapped and pushed her down while we were been robbed, I was dumbfounded to say the least.

Then it became clear to me, she set me up to be robbed. Now my questions are,
Why did she insist we take the tarred road, considering we took the sandy road while going to the Shop
How come the thieves reached straight into the pocket with my wallet?
How come they never asked for our mobile phones, naturally, that should be their first question
How come immediately I gave the guy the 'right' PIN he acceded?
Who was Sandra texting while we walked home
And, the FB picture shows she knows the guy after all.

My problem now is, should I confront Sandra d tell her I know what happened or should I just let it slide? Since that day she's been trying to cozy up to me, but the more she tries the more I become worried and wary.
Lalasticlala
You have to confront the police so that they can confront her themselves. It's obvious she was complicit in the theft. Don't take this issue lying down. Take an action.

Shine you eyes for BENIN oo.

The IPOB business was founded on anti-Imo basis and is busy attacking our Governor and raining insults on our people. While Imo people have always been the sacrificial lamb of Biafra only on condition of the capital rightly moved to Owerri and the president being from Southern Igbo will they get Imo State support.

IPOB is not fighting for Igbos but fighting to prevent Rochas Okorocha from being President of Nigeria and to prevent Buhari from succeeding where others failed. We are too wise to fall for their antics.
Wetin we no go hear for this country. As much as I don't support the modus operandi of most IPOB supporters, this your comment really shows that there's recession in Nigeria. How you were able to deduce this to Rochas Okorocha becoming president beats me.

all Toke has is aesthetic beauty, and apparently she didn't even have a brain to complement it, so obviously, Maje chose to procreate with someone who seemed better suited.

A lecturer in my school once advised male students never to procreate with dull women because their kids would most likely end up with mummy's brain...guess someone gave Maje same advice.

Not saying Anita is particularly smart, but if she was the one who got the sperm eventually, she definitely had a one-up on Toke
Toke and beauty in the same sentence? The only thing that would attract anyone to Toke is her accent.

Why una no call me when this argument just start? me and my paddy almost break each other head because of these two.

I usually have my preffered candidate in any argument but that does not blind me to the obvious unbias fact.

I am a barcelona fan and i love messi to bits and sometimes, i tend to downplay the qualities of Ronaldo.

He's actually better than i give him credit for if you judge both on them using most metrics, you'll realize that Messi is better than Ronaldo (I don't know about miles). He has won more everything than Ronaldo.

In blogssing, nothing beats content. Like they say, Content is king. I checked out his website and truth be told, the design wasn't appealing. I think he should do something about the logo and the colors used. Finance as a niche needs a strong color. having said that, what has sold the website thus far is the content. Once you produced good and original content, people will find you.

It's also imperative that new bloggers take SEO very seriously. You can get thousands of organic traffic every single day if you build valuable backlinks. it's not beans to be ranked as the 237th most visited websites in Nigeria (Which includes international websites such as Google, facebook, Youtube etc). It's quite an achievement.
Politics › Re: Why PDP Lost Edo, Ondo And May Lose Future Elections - Ali Sheriff Faction by Ovokoo: 9:23am On Nov 29, 2016
PDP lost in do because they were not the incumbent.

They lost in Ondo because APC connived with both INEC and the Judicial system.

Let's not forget that PDP won in Bayelsa and Rivers. They will continue to win in states where they hold away, while APC will win in states and regions where they also hold sway. Chikena.

Any examples of a do follow website.

How was your weekend.
My weekend was great.

All you need to do is go to google and search for "Dofollow Blogs" or "Dofollow Forums" etc.

For instance, i just went to google and searched for "Dofollow Directories" and i got this:

500 High Dofollow Directories - http://www.latestseotutorial.com/top-high-pr-do-follow-directory-submission-sites-list/

There are also lists of dofollow blogs. Just do a search.

1. Site submitted and indexed.
2. xml sitemap suibmitted. Will check again.
3. What do you mean by "do follow"?? Help me ooo.

In simple terms, what should I do to begin with?... With regards to my SEO.
Whenever you leave you URL on any webpage, that means you have a link to your blog. If you leave 20 of your URL on different websites, it means you have 20 links to your blog...

Now, some links are weightier than others. There are two types of links (Dofollow and Nofollow)

Nofollow links are the most common. You blog link on Nairaland for example is a nofollow link and i can guaranty you that most of your links in other websites are nofollow as well. Google does not hate nofollow links. As a matter of fact, nofollow links are said to be part of Google algorithm that it uses to rank websites. Now...

Dofollow links are what google pays more attention to. if you have a dofollow link, it means you have what we call a link juice to your website. Google believes that "if your website can have a dofollow link, especially from a site with a Page Rank (PR) of 1 to 10, it means your website is respected."

Basically, what you have to do is to look for websites that allow commenters to add a dofollow link. Do it and you'll see the different. The more dofollow links you have, the better your ranking.

Good things still Happen in Aba.
Aba is a city with culture and character. The only thing holding it back is lack of infrastructure. If government can give Aba what it really needs, very few cities in Nigeria can stand side by side with Aba.

First off are you on Skype?.
Secondly, thank you for the feedback.

I have been working on my SEO for weeks now. Something is just wrong... I study my blogs analytics like its an exam, checking through the behaviours and conversions and bounce rate trying to understand what is wrong.

Will be taking a look at my robots txt tester today or tomorrow because I learnt that may be a huge problem too.
My indexing is good... 90% of my contents crawled.

Blogs that copy my content gets first page on Google and I dont. Sometimes I find myself on the 5th page.
Also my traffic is good.

What do you think is wrong??

With regards to my blog template, I just want to keep it simple. Will move towards the professional look at a later date.
Yes! would reduce the read more as instructed.

Gratitude bro.

Checked your blog. That is a whole lot of HTML going down there.
The only reason why blogs that copy your content will have a higher ranking is probably because you have done little or no Search Engine Optimization. The google algorithm is done in such a way that those who own content are given priority but that is only if they have taken care of the basics of SEO (On-site & Off-site). Just make sure you have submitted your site to google using the Google Webmaster tool. Also submit your xml sitemap. Then most importantly, get some dofollow links to boost your site juice and you'll see your site displace those sites that have copied your content.

Based on the country the OP mentioned, I would assume that he is referring to English speaking countries. There are other Anglo countries that are similar to the countries listed.

Republic of Ireland
New Zealand

You can also try Scandinavian countries such h as Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Co. These countries, despite not being English speaking countries, are fluent in English unlike 'any of their European counterparts. The quality of life in those places are also high.

You call 3 billion dollars dash? It clear you have never berthed a start up before ..if Elon Musk and the pay pal mafia didn't sell of pay pal where do you think the will be today ...For your info snap chat is currently shopping for investors to offload some equity to at rates far lower when they had the boom..For linda 2 million dollars is small because she can also raise that but I bet you if she was offered 50 million USD today she will off load
Some people just don't understand the way startups work. Instagram, Youtube and the likes are not just popular because of the quality of the product but because of the investment that went into it. There's really little someone who doesn't have enough capital can do and that is why a lot of these people prefer to sell and remain a major shareholder than being stingy and end up messing the whole shebang up. The only reason Linda Ikeji isn't selling is that she already has the resources to run it, it she had gotten this request like 4 to 5 years ago, if i hear say she no sell.

Buh what s/he said is true naaaa! Majority of the people on the site are there mostly because of her handouts. Of course she can't compete with the likes of Facebook or Whatsapp and others but she can definitely create a niche of followers from Nigeria alone out of a population of 180 Million. I tell you if she's able to get 1 million registered, it would be a great feat. Nairaland is at 1.7million approximately but it took years and of course we have users with multiple accounts grin
It's actually very difficult getting 1 million registered members in Nigeria. Nairaland actually doesn't have up to one million users as a lot of people have multiple accounts.
