For sure the government house does not use light from the National grid, a decision that came into being during Almakura's tenure with the excuse of double payment for light and diesel for generator. Light in Lafia is epileptic but areas like Ombi 1 and 2, Shabu, Kwandare, Azuba, Sabon Pegi, Akunza etc enjoy steady light supply, though light supply across majority of LG is poor. I have been in similar situation with your HOD, only that in my case, I informed my colleagues not to sign the PV for a salary they didn't not collect but they went ahead and signed it and my Project Manager was informed what I did. He was furious and wanted sacking me but I was the only M&E in my organization that understood the NOMIS database, and sacking me will cost the organisation troubles. This is one of the most dicey situation anyone can find himself in. I had a similar challenge about 4 months ago and opted for my family with a resignation to my organisation after my planned transfer failed. I am happy but its not easy, the rest is history. |
