According to the latest edition of Belgium football magazine, Sport/Voetbalmagazine, Eden Hazard is ready to jack it in at Chelsea.

Somewhat ironically, Chelsea’s success in the Premier League this season is cited as the reason Hazard wants to leave Stamford Bridge.

Sport/Voetbalmagazine has doctored a picture of Hazard to place him in a Real Madrid shirt on the front page of their latest edition.

Again, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday stayed away from the meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, currently holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Similarly, the Council Chamber, venue of the meeting was also scanty with about 20 out of 36 Ministers equally absent.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is chairing the meeting.

Reasons for the President's absence has not been officially ascertained as at press time.

The same applied to that the absentee Ministers.

Meanwhile, the preliminaries of Wednesday's meeting were not short of what played out penultimate Wednesday when the already seated Osinbajo and the Ministers who were expectant of the President, appearing to preside over the meeting got disappointed as Buhari failed to show up.

Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has said he will not quit football after suffering knee ligament damage, but will “come back even stronger”.

The 35-year-old was injured during their Europa League quarter-final tie against Anderlecht at Old Trafford and is expected to be out until 2018.
“I will be out for a while,” Ibrahimovic wrote on Instagram, but added “giving up is not an option.”
“I will go through this like everything else and come back even stronger. So far I played with one leg so it shouldn’t be any problem.
“One thing is for sure, I decide when it’s time to stop and nothing else.”
Speaking before Sunday’s 2-0 win at Burnley, United manager Jose Mourinho said on Sky Sports: “I know (how long he will be out for), but it is for the medical department to be more specific and they prefer to wait a couple more days because the players want to see other specialists and to have an extra opinion and we have to respect that. But they are important injuries.”

Asked whether Ibrahimovic would play again, the Portuguese replied: “I don’t care about it in this moment, I just want the player to recover the best he can.”

Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals since he joined last summer as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain, but United will reportedly withdraw their contract offer.
