For people who have so much in common, and have shared so much success in the previous year, is it difficult to believe that Wizkid has never met Drake in person?
New photos circulating online shows Nigerian star Burna Boy and Drake sharing a moment. The photos show both stars in London, having conversation. Drake has an amused expression on his face, while Burna Boy was caught mid-speech.

The photos have gone viral, with fans and music enthusiasts wondering what this could mean for both parties. Drake’s work with Wizkid is well documented and many are interpreting this as a sign of a new collaboration.
But the most insightful question that keeps coming up is: Has Wizkid ever met Drake? Have they seen eye to eye, or shared the same physical space together? Ever?
It is difficult to think that both stars have never met in person.
Drake and Wizkid’s romance didn’t start from any physical meeting. Drake was introduced to Ójuelegba’ by a mutual friend of Wizkid – rapper Skepta – who got Drake to remix it. All of that process was made official and managed via emails. There was no meeting.
While Drake was working on his “Views” album, and needed a little something extra. His A&R team reached out to South African producer, DJ Maphorisa, via email. According to a story he shared with Genius, everything was done via email, with files sent across both parties.
“I was recording Wiz when they sent [the files],” Maphorisa said, referring to Wizkid’s background vocals on the song. “There was nothing really there. We started working on it—I added some production.”

“My team is playing very well but for many years in my career, especially in this country, when my teams were ruthless and phenomenal defensively I listened week after week to people saying that was not enough, despite winning the title three times,” Mourinho said. “This season it looks that being strong defensively and good on the counter attack is art. That is a big change in England. “We are Manchester United, we want to play attacking football. This is the way the fans want us to play. “But I don’t want to be a manager of a team that doesn’t win matches. We have to score goals. Today we did and that made the difference. Today was very important.” Mourinho’s claims seemed a little harsh, but he was in typically mischievous mood and even referenced his demise as Chelsea boss last season, which came following a defeat at Leicester. “The last time I was in this chair I was sacked a day later,” he said with a smirk before bringing an end to his post-match press conference at the King Power Stadium.

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the parliament to extend his medical leave in the UK, amid concerns that his health may be worse than officials are publicly saying.
The 74-year-old leader, who has been out of the country for two weeks, was expected to return to Abuja on Sunday.
An official statement said he had been advised by doctors to await the results of a series of tests.
However, it did not say how much extra time would be needed. There was also no mention of what the medical checks were for.

Frank Lampard announced his retirement yesterday and the end of his 21-year playing career attracted acclaim and admiration from friends and old rivals.
The 38-year-old received a glowing tribute from John Terry, his long-time friend and Chelsea team-mate.

Steven Gerrard, with whom Lampard tussled often in opposition and never quite gelled with England, added his congratulations.
Lampard hinted at his future career direction in his retirement statement after revealing he declined offers to continue playing.


“After 21 incredible years, I have decided that now is the right time to finish my career as a professional footballer,” Lampard wrote on Instagram.
“Whilst I have received a number of exciting offers to continue playing at home and abroad, at 38 I feel now is the time to begin the next chapter in my life.
“Looking forward, I’m grateful to the FA (Football Association) for the opportunity to study for my coaching qualifications and I look forward to pursuing the off-field opportunities that this decision opens.”

These photos were shared on Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging platform. A rat was caught 'stealing' rice at a convenience store and the staff decided to disgrace it after it was caught.

The uploader who confirmed the incident actually happened, said the rat was caught at a shop in Zhuhai city, Guangdong Province, which was owned by his friend.

In the first picture, a note written by the staff of the store was attached to the rat. It read: 'Huh, is this the best you could do? Even if you beat me to death, I would not admit that the rice at your home had been stolen by me.'

No fewer than 11 million survivors of the destructive Boko Haram insurgents are in desperate need of humanitarian aids.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that Mr Toby Lanzer, the Humanitarian Coordinator for the Sahel, said this while spotlighting the desperate plight of millions in Africa’s Lake Chad basin.

The top United Nations humanitarian official for the Sahel region also called for international solidarity with the people in urgent need.


Lanzer told UN Correspondents at the UN Headquarters in New York that the Boko Haram crisis did monumental destruction to the Lake Chad basin countries, which include Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria.

The UN emergency official regretted that the condition of the victims of the insurgents was dire adding,

“I wish I had good news, but I don’t”.

“About 11 million people are in desperate need of humanitarian aid, 7.1 million of them are severely food insecure.

“To say “food insecure”, according to World Food Programme, is that they are living on the edge, surviving on, if they can, one meal a day,” he said.

Lanzer added that among the situation of children is particularly worrying.

“Some 515,000 children are severely and acutely malnourished and their lives are at risk if aid does not reach them urgently.

“No government on earth can do what it takes to confront these numbers of severe food insecurity.

“This is a clear case where international solidarity with the governments of the region is needed,” he stressed.

According to him, the Sahel region already has about 2.5 million internally displaced persons (IDP).

Lanzer said improving security situation in the Lake Chad Basin region had revealed the depth of the humanitarian suffering of survivors of the destructive insurgent group.

“The scale of humanitarian suffering in the region has become increasingly evident with improving security situation as a result of the military campaign against Boko Haram.

“This has allowed humanitarian actors to reach many places which were impossible to get to earlier due to insecurity.
