Echowas: What was Nnamdi Kanu doing in Kenya? He was well aware Nigeria and Kenya has diplomatic relationship.
NIGERIA, a country that has the highest funding of ECOWAS, the members of such body will always work towards the efforts of each government. Also considering Kenya dealing with it's own problems, the Al-shabab terrorists, Kenya wouldn't want an external influence (who has been declared a leader of a terrorist group by his own country) to add to their problems.
In an hypothetical situation, if an Al-qeeda fighter or leader is found in Nigeria today, the United States would arrest such individual and extradite him ( NIGERIA will deny having any knowledge of it initially even though they are well aware of the arrest). |

myami: By Akinrinlola Olumide Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose, popularly known as Oshoko, is a Nigerian politician born on November 15, 1960.
Though he grew up in Oyo State and had his education in Oyo State but he is a native of Afao town in Irepodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State and a two-term Governor of Ekiti State.
His grassroots experience is second to none. On two different occasions, Ayodele Fayose, defeated two incumbent Governors to emerge the Governor of Ekiti State. In 2003, he unseated Otunba Niyi Adebayo but he didn’t enjoy the Peoples’ mandate because his government was truncated by an illegal impeachment by the Ekiti State House of Assembly on October 16, 2006.
But after getting justice from the court over his illegal impeachment, he returned to power on June 22, 2014, when he defeated Dr Kayode Fayemi with a wide margin during the State Governorship election.
Ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, the Southern Governors Forum has now declared support for rotation and zoning of the Presidency to the South.
Meanwhile, before this decision, the Presidency of Nigeria has always be rotated between Southern and Northern Nigeria which has been a traditional principle since 1999 to date.
Even where the stakeholders in Nigeria have failed to observe the principle of zoning, the electorates have always zoned it during the election with their votes.
This was evident during the 2015 Presidential election when ex-president Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP lost the election to his main challenger, Muhammadu Buhari, with just over 2.5 million votes.
The existence of traditional zoning principles in Nigeria was further attested to by Dr Jonathan, in his book titled: “My Transition Hours”, when he specifically accused some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors from the North of sabotaging his reelection bid.
In the book, Dr Jonathan lamented the desperation of some northern Governors in his party to return power to their region, he said that was part of the major reasons he lost the election to Buhari in 2015.
Now that the 2023 election draws near, the decision of the Southern Governors is an indication that the Stakeholders in Southern Nigeria and the electorates in the country, will not tolerate imbalances for the sake of justice, fairness, equity and unity of the country.
Looking towards the South in the PDP, ahead of 2023, I believe that Ayodele Fayose is the best for the party.
Apart from being a southerner, the masses who are his fans and admirers cut across the 36 states of the country. This means he has the spread and chances of winning.
With the problem facing Nigeria today, the country needs to be restructured to transform the roles of the federal, state and local governments to solve the numerous socio-political, economic and security challenges besetting the nation.
Among the PDP voices from the south, Fayose is a known, strong, an unrepentant advocate of restructuring that Nigeria needs today.
Apart from being a voice, he is a fearless man who could be trusted to take the bull by its horn in restructuring Nigeria.
To this fact, we need a grassroots politician loved by the masses who also understands the masses like Fayose to take over from Buhari. We need a President like Fayose who understands the system of government that we inherited in Nigeria.
We need someone who could tackle many of the major problems Buhari cannot tackle.
We need a President who will speak the truth to us in Nigeria and solve our problems. Fayose is resolute.
Nigeria needs a resolute President in 2023. We don’t need a man that will continue with the blame game.
We need a man that already knows we have numerous problems and will be coming on board to solve them.
We need a president who understands that he is coming on board to become the president of all Nigerians and the president of all the political parties we have in the country. Not a president of a particular tribe. We need a president who would respect the rule of law and the independence of other arms of government.
We need a president that will respect the right of Nigerians and not a president that will be using security agencies to abuse our fundamental human rights. We need a President that will solve the economic challenges and address the forex problem in Nigeria.
Ayodele Fayose is the best for the PDP if the party would consider a southerner as her presidential flag bearer in 2023.

kiako: Wow ...Indeed you cannot stop the sun from shinning.
A clear play out of Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
Remember the story of Haman & Mordecai. For those who don't know, Haman ended up being the one who wanted Mordecai dead but Mordecai had his name proclaimed by none but Haman.
Esther 6 : 10-11
10 Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.”
11 So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”
That this happened and was done by none other but a Northerner IS A (THE) MESSAGE
Only the illuminated & wise understands the handwriting cum message. |

SE has oil SE has NG
Now that they have no ludicrous fallacies to spew, they went to NASS to beg for their rights.
Their Fulani overlords decided to teach them a lesson in language they understand - economic subjugation. |

Bro,Igbos don't vote. Igbo votes is always about 5 percent of the total votes. If I may ask,why can't an 8gno contest for president? Why settle for vice? I can assure you that any party with an Igbo on the ticket will lose woefully. |
Politics › Re: Yoruba APC Members: What's Your Plan-b When A Fulani Wins The 2023 Ticket? by Owontime: 12:17pm On Jul 05, 2021 |
AldrichAmes: P.S: Presidential Ticket.
…You would be an idiot not to see what’s going on. All the excessive borrowing, looting and Fulanis heading sensitive/juicy positions are for a reason. You need a lot of money and being in strategic position of power to force your will on everyone in a country like Nigeria hence Fulanis were so scared under GEJ with how Igbos were able to hijack his government. They were of the belief that Igbos had money/power to declare war on them.
…Almost all Fulani politicians are crossing from PDP to APC thus weakening the opposition party (Nigeria is almost a one-party state now). And you’d be living in fool’s paradise if you think they’re doing it to push a pro-Yoruba agenda in 2023 and set the stage for a Yoruba president.
…Fulani youths are armed to the teeth and the smallest weapon they carry is AK-47 (a lot of them are being trained in military combat). They also have access thousands of fighting forces in Niger, Chad, Mali and Northern Cameroon. Are they doing this for a Yoruba agenda?
When Yoruba elders in this government talk about how Yoruba have invested a lot in Nigeria; they’re talking about the billions of Lagos money that was used to bankroll Buhari’s presidential ambition. They had to match GEJ’s spending power which came from when oil prices were at their peak and only Lagos’ money under Tinubu could match it. But they’re yet to get half of that money back as Buhari became a turncoat after he became president and his agenda is solely a Fulani agenda. And the only way they can get that money back is for a Yoruba to become president in 2023.
Now, Fulanis really don’t need Yoruba to get another Fulani into power in 2023. They have always had an unspoken alliance with Igbo elites. And they can kill 50million today but once they pick an Igbo vice, most Igbos will vote for them. It happened after the Igbo pogroms in the North in the 50s with NPC and NCNC. It also happened after the civil war when millions were killed but that didn’t stop Igbos from voting for the North and his Igbo vice. And it will happen again. They also have another joker they can play in 2023 with Nnamdi Kanu; all they need to do hold him till next year before cutting a deal with him.
So it begs the question: when neither Tinubu, Fashola, Fayemi nor Osibanjo get the APC ticket for 2023; what’s your plan-b? Are you going to unleash MC Oluomo and his fellow jokers who’re more into theatrics than combat against AK-47 carrying Fulanis? Or are you going to start screaming Yoruba Nation then? |
