wristbangle: Last week not this week. Btw price of gas in south is generally lower compare to the northern part of the country. which this week? Did you try to buy gas this week to know that it's 3,200 per 12.5kg? |
Politics › Re: NNPC Crashes Diesel Price Nationwide By 42% by Oxenomy: 7:23am On Jun 19, 2017 |
wristbangle: I noticed the price crash as well which will be a temporary relief for sectors using diesel to power their generators.
With this news which translate to cost operation reduction, I expect price of commodities to crash a bit coupled with naira appreciation but corrupt and greedy people won't allow such to happen.
Also: price of cooking gas has crashed to N3200 for 12kg, N1700 for 6kg against N4500 and N2400 respectively before. Hmmm nice one shatap.. 12.5kg of gas is N4,500 in Abuja as at last Saturday.. |

crownprince102: Boss..... Maximum respect
You are one of the few right thinking Nigerians. it's just very simple.. Just take my state Ebonyi for instance with a population of almost 3.8 million, that's more than the population of Qatar.. If we have the same budget as Qatar, consecutively for 5 years, why won't we developed like them? ... Our only problem is this kind of structure that we practice.. Our governors go to collect free money every month from FG, share it among themselves, then wait for another month to do the same.. This has made our leaders to be mentally, physically and morally lazy.. Who will want to stress himself when you know that a loot is waiting for you at the end of the month to share? .. That's why they don't mind wiping a whole family just to get there.. With this kind of structure, the future is really scary.. |
Politics › Re: 32 Countries Of Less Than 40 Million People With Bigger Budget Than Nigeria. by Oxenomy: 6:26pm On Jun 17, 2017 |
That is what I try to explain to some people sometimes.. Our yearly budget is high insignificant compared to our population, that's why you hardly see any visible impact of the budget in the lives of the people.
With our population, we should be talking of a budget worth of US$400 Billion.. That's why we need Fiscal federalism, it will force us to start thinking outside the box. |

malton: And what exactly do you think I wanted to achieve with this thread?
Like I said up there, I am against the Igbos leaving because I know their importance and would do anything to stop it if I could.
That's because I'm pro one Nigeria. I know how much the Igbos and their hardwork mean to the economy of this country. I'll work assiduously to ensure they remain in Nigeria if I could.
Also, I'm against ipob principles because ours clash; they want out and want them to remain. But it doesn't mean that I'll support the killings of Igbo people just because some of them seek independence.
You think I'd support the killings of the Togolese amidst us just because they are not Nigerians?
That's why I said, "we may not always agree." Going by your antecedent on this forum, what you want to achieve with this thread is visible to the blind, and audible to the deaf. BTW, do you want to tell me that when we get our Biafra, Igbos will not be allowed to reside in your country? ... You don't support the numerous killings going on but you said in this thread that you even tolerated the killings of your own people in order to defend the interest of the murderers while bashing the Igbos... And you want me to take you serious?... SMH |

Alanzazani: My Malton don't bother replying some of these ignorant ethnic bigots here. For people that have an education to reason backwards, youths most especially in this age of technology, discovery and globalisation. It is appalling. How can people think like their ancestors of the 60's? I am Ibo but have never supported ipob.
Back to the topic plateau indegines and ibos have always lived in peace never fought each other for centuries so who are these animals giving ultimatums. Four of my generations where born in plateau state from my grandfather down to my nieces and nephews. After the civil war, we came back to our house at church street and lived with our plateau brothers till date peacefully. Who will be leaving plateau state? Is it the ibos or the Fulani that have killed innocent plateau women and children over the years in order to drive them out of their lands? The Hausa Fulani think it is only ibos they have to contend with. When the time comes they will come to terms with the reality on ground. They have killed and spilled so much blood than any other ethnic group. They can't deceive anybody with this their divide and rule antics anymore. It pains my heart when other tribes stereotype all ibos as ipobs. They have flooded nairaland and the social media and post hate and bile. They are no different from the yorubas and the rest that hate back on them. So many of us don't have the time to post and preach otherwise. If eventually the illiterate northerner starts slaughtering every Ibo man at sight like was done in 67 because of the folly of a hand full of coup plotters, then ipob will win the sympathy of every living Ibo man Stay there and be deceiving yourself.. Go and read the post history of this OP in this forum, that will tell you the kind of person he is.. Anyway, I don't have time for him because we know them very well in this forum and exactly how to handle them. A word of enough for the wise. |

malton: You misconstrue intents.
The write up wasn't meant to patronise Igbos in any way.
My objective was to state where we stand. Even if Biafra were secured at this moment, I will personally never consent to the view.
It's absurd as it is crude.
Yes, I am against the Igbos leaving. But that's down to my knowing how much economic importance they hold to the future of this country than to fearing Hausa/Fulani dominance.
We've always held our own against them.
Whether or not we agree, I can never hate the Igbo man, as I hold them in high regards. Whatever you think and feel is not our concern, but I want to let you know that we are leaving for good and the earlier you people start adjusting to that reality, the better for you. |
Politics › Re: Northern Youths' Ultimatum: Keep Plateau And The Middle Belt Out Of Your Madness by Oxenomy: 8:05pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
The Middle Belt knows that once we leave this cesspit called country, they are doomed for life because the Awusa/Fulani won't blink before sluttering them and acquire their land hence, they are doing everything possible to pacify Igbos to stay because we are the lifeline to their existence. This Malton moniker has said unimaginable things against Igbos on this forum and has never for one day apologized for it, but just make a turn around to write this long bullshit.. Maybe he thinks just like barcanista that we are stupid.. I want to let him know that we are leaving for good and anything they decide to do with the rest of the north is not our concern.. We might pretend to pander to his antics here to make him feel good but when the time comes, we will let him know that we are not stupid. To the stupid animals up north that issued the threat, why not make it 24hrs, 3 months is too long.. Bunch of bastards! |
