You need to confirm with an ENT physician to rule out tympanic membrane rupture. Was there a rupture? Or has the rupture healed? What ever it is let us know so we can determine if hyperbaric oxygen therapy -hbot can be of benefit.
Based on your story and without a membrane rupture HBOT would have been your best bet.
