Romance / 7 Signs Your Man Only Wants Sex And Not Love by Oye50(m): 11:19pm On Jan 28, 2015
Hello ladies,

I bring you 7 secrets that may save you from many heartbreaks — signs you have to look for in a guy to know if he wants a relationship or he just wants to rumple the bed sheets at every opportunity.

This is important for women who think it’s time to settle for that one guy, and not just getting naked for him at request.

If you don’t want another X-mark on your dating calendar, then read on:

He doesn’t want to meet at his place. Men like to have the women they like over at their place. If a man finds reasons to keep out of his space, then he may be hiding something or does not want certain people to meet you in his place.

He hides you from his friends. If a guy likes you and is proud of you, he'll show you off to his friends. When he doesn’t do that than be careful.

He does not want to know about your personal life. No man wants to date a woman whose life is a mystery to him. A man who loves you wants to know the tiny details.

He turns everything sexual. The abundance of a man's heart shows in his words. Same with a lover. If he wants you more than for sex, it'll show. A man who only makes sexual compliments, like boobs, bum, sexy, hot, sweet, even when the occasions does not call for it, is just looking for more sex.

He doesn’t like to do pre-intimacy. If you meet a guy that hurriedly gets out of his clothes and gets you out of yours but doesn’t want to play around before poking into the honeypot, chances are that he's just in for the sex.

He is so worried about you forgetting things at his place. If a man does not allow you to keep personal items in his house, something is wrong. He is either not ready for a relationship or is just using you sexually.

He doesn’t take you out. This is all part of the hiding thing. He doesn’t want to be accidentally seen with you in public. Be careful of his kind!

You must know that men are poor in hiding their feelings. They may not say it, but they act it, so watch out for these signs.

Celebrities / 2face Idibia Reacts To The Baby Mama Drama by Oye50(m): 8:04pm On Jan 28, 2015
2face Idibia has finally spoken up concerning rumours that his marriage to Annie is on shaky ground saying "Our love doesn't have to make sense to you".

Yesterday photographs surfaced of 2Face and his baby mama Pero Adeniyi allegedly kissing in the club. This sparked rumours that the married couples are not on good terms at all. Fans reacted harshly Tania Omotayo when she pulled a PR stunt to 'sway' people from talking about the trouble Annie and 2face were seemingly experiencing by sharing a photo of Annie and 2face in the kitchen together.

Very early this Wednesday morning 2face Idibia shared a photo on Instagram of himself and Annie on their white wedding and captioned it " Our love does not have 2 make sense 2 u. pls go on with your perfect life and know the true story behind something before u judge and start making nasty comments based on an orchestrated story by some blog.U shall know the truth and the truth shall set u free.LYTID uwana idibia".

2Face slammed blogs for caring the stories about him having baby mama and wifey trouble, calling the stories 'orchestrated'. At the end of his message he professed his love for his wife Annie Idibia saying " I love you till i die".

Politics / Governor Yuguda: 'stoning Of President Jonathan Were Carried Out By PDP Members by Oye50(m): 8:41am On Jan 26, 2015
Some revelations by Bauchi State Governor Isa
Yuguda on the stoning of President Goodluck
Jonathan in the state during a campaign rally
was said to have shocked the Presidency and the
national leadership of the Peoples Democratic
Party.
Yuguda, in an interview with the BBC Hausa service,
said that the stoning and the attack on the President
were carried out by members of the ruling PDP.
Before now, the Presidency and the ruling party had
accused the opposition All Progressives Congress of
being the mastermind of the attack.
Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs,
Prof. Rufai Alkali, and the PDP Presidential Campaign
Office, however insisted that the attack was carried
out by the APC.
But Yuguda, a member of the National Executive
Committee of the PDP, insisted that those who
organised the youths that threw stones and pelted
the President with sachet water, were members of
the party from Abuja.
The governor said, “I am sure and let the world
know that the people who did this thing were
PDP members and those politicians in Abuja were
the ones behind it; they were not APC members.
“They found these youths on the road and gave
them brooms and satchets of water and they
instructed them that when the President was
passing they should raise the brooms and throw
the satchets of water at him.
“They did that so that the President would think
that Isa Yuguda is against him. They have been
telling him in Abuja that we are not supporting
him. They did that to show the President that Isa
Yuguda is nothing in Bauchi, to show that despite
being an indigene of Bauchi, Isa Yuguda could not
be respected with his guests in Bauchi.”
Yuguda also said that he and members of his cabinet
were not aware of the plan ahead of the rally, saying
they were taken by surprise.
Reacting to the governor’s statement, the Deputy
National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Alhaji
Ibrahim Jalo, said that only the governor was in a
position to clarify his statement on the matter.
Jalo said, “How can my party be organising stoning?
Anyway, Yuguda has spoken on the issue. He should
be the one to clarify his position on the matter.
“I was in Bauchi that day and I saw what happened.
The governor said it was done by PDP members. Ask
him to speak further on it.”
However, a presidency source described the
governor’s statement as unfortunate.
“How can he speak like that? We have condemned it;
the party has condemned it and now, he’s blaming
the party for this. That’s bad,” a presidential aide,
who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was
not allowed to speak officially on the matter, told
our correspondent.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai
Mohammed, said he was happy that Yuguda was able
to summon the courage to clarify what happened in
the state.
Mohammed said, “Governor Yuguda’s interview has
vindicated the APC and confirmed our position that
the PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan will stop at
nothing to scuttle this election.
“It is sad that in their desperation PDP and Jonathan
are ready to bring down the nation.
“Thanks to Governor Yuguda. The whole world now
sees the hypocrisy and perfidy of President Jonathan
and the PDP.
“In Jos, Kano, Bauchi, Rivers and other states we
have witnessed electoral violence, PDP are the
instigators and aggressors.”
But the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP
presidential campaign organisation, Femi Fani-
Kayode, warned the APC on Sunday to stop blaming
the ruling party for the attacks on the President.

Common sense tells us that their are terrorists world-wide , if America with 70% of it's budget dedicated to it's military lost the counter terrorism project in Iraq despite numerous supports from France,UK,Belgium etc then you should know that Nigerian military needs the help of northern indigines to flush out insecurity and insurgency.

As for the chibok girls, their is a local counselor, local govt chairman, governor and state security service in Borno, have you held them responsible ?
And common sense should tell us that u can't compare a terrorist terrorizing u on ur land to that case u mentioned about US. If u want to compare, would a group of terrorist hold several hundreds of US citizens hostage on US soil for several days Tell me how possible is that
Coming to infrastructure, what infrastructure has he provided? Infact we all need to grow to the point that infrastructures are not privileges but our rights. I can't praise any government for constructing a bridge but I would criticize such govt if they don't

Hello,
Considering money an other things,

I pondered on pursuing a Msc in Finland.

But... Before I jump into waters, Wish to its dept:

1. Can I start d processing on Monday and meet up with deadline... (I ve not reg for Ielts, Dnt have a Passport, and d rst)

2. Will 150k b sufficient for d processin (Though, can get a sponsor if travellin clicks)
You can meet up but you have to take so many things into consideration. Let's begin, for IELTS, the only means of ID accepted is Passport, even b4 u can register u need a passport number. If u can get ur passport with 2days (which is possible) then u can register for IELTS and at the same time order for ur transcript. In my sch for instance (OAU) ur transcript would be ready within 2-3days. The main challenge however, is getting a date for the IELTS for 10th of this month, ur result should be ready by 22nd or 23rd which is on time, anything after that date, u may not meet the January deadline for most schools. Finally, check for ur courses and schs, there are some schools that their dealine is February, with that u have ample time @ur disposal. As to ur final question, u don't need up to 150k for the processing. The bulk cash is consumed by IELTS (35k online, 38k bank draft)

Politics / NIGERIA: [OPINION] Jonathan’s Ph.d Versus Buhari’s “semi-illiteracy” by Oye50(m): 4:55pm On Jan 05, 2015
“An excellent plumber is infinitely more admirable than an incompetent philosopher [PHD holder].

A society which scorns excellence in plumbing, because it is humble activity, and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy, because it is an exalted activity, will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy. Neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water.” John Gardener, US Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare.

I was living and studying, in the USA, in the late 1960s when Gardener rendered this piece of good advice to graduating students at Harvard University. His aim was to warn the students not to think that their degrees made them superior to others who might not have university education but who were contributing greatly to society.

I also worked at Polaroid Corporation, founded by Dr(Honorary) Edwin Land, the university drop-out who started the revolution in photography by inventing the first instant camera – which all professors of Physics said could not be done. Dr Land eventually employed nothing less than 345 Ph.D holders in various departments of Polaroid Corporation. Some of those who came in with B.Sc received doctorate degrees based on experience and research they conducted at Polaroid.

This is important because Professor Wale Oladipo, National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party had been wasting everybody’s time comparing Jonathan, a Ph.D holder with Buhari – who he described as a semi-illiterate. Oladipo, naturally, failed to define semi-illiteracy in his bid to score cheap political points. That is standard practice for Nigerian professors once they enter the murky waters of politics – they invariably fail the minimum test of scholarship which calls for the definition of terms used in their presentations.

But, let me now take Oladipo up on his own terms by acknowledging that Jonathan holds a doctorate in Zoology. To begin with few, if any applicants for admission to university apply for Botany or Zoology. Their first preferences are often Medicine or Pharmacy. It is when their cut-off marks fall below the requirements for those two highly exalted professions that they are offered Zoology or Botany as a condition for admission to university. It would be interesting to know if Jonathan, ab initio, opted for Zoology or was shunted into that course.

More to the point, my questions are: what had he done with it? In what way had the Nigerian society benefited from his work as a Zoologist? How many papers had he got published in reputable academic journals of Zoology? In what ways had he advanced knowledge in Zoology? Those are the minimum requirements for excellence in academic work and not just the mere possession of a degree – which is a personal thing. There are millions of people all over the world with doctorate degrees who do nothing with them; they are just contented to hold the certificates.

Meanwhile, there are technicians who have invented millions of useful equipment, household items, medical and diagnostic materials without the benefit of doctorate degrees. Professor Oladipo will surely agree with me, if he is not too far gone for redemption, that a Bill Gates or Edwin Land, both without Ph.Ds, had benefited the world far more than a million Jonathans and Oladipos who have nothing comparative to their credit but their certificates.

CONTINUITY – FROM THOSE WHO MADE YOUR CHRISTMAS MISERABLE

“Continuity” Jonathan’s adverts lining Abuja Airport.

Nigerians had the worst Christmas since I was born. There was no money. Even Federal Government staff were not paid. There was even black out for several hours on the 25th. Lean pickings at dinning tables and thread-bare clothes rounded up the dreary occasion.

Still PDP wants continuity. Among other horrors and atrocities implied in that request, consider these — continuity of bleak Yuletides; continuity of excuses for not generating more than 4000MW of electricity in 16 years; continuity of frequent ASUU strikes; continuity of mass failure in WASC and, now, Law School; continuity of Ministers purchasing bullet-proof cars and spending billions chartering jets; continuity of Ministry of Interior and other services collecting money from young job applicants and killing some of them and nobody got punished for it; continuity of pensioners dying on queues; continuity of missing Chibok Girls and kidnapped women; continuity of 400,000 barrels of crude stolen everyday in the Niger Delta; continuity of an unelected woman going about disrupting the lives of people everywhere she goes; continuity of NNPC not accounting fully for revenue generated; continuity of depleting External Reserves; continuity of depleted Excess Crude Oil….Need I continue?
In short CONTINUITY at your own peril. You will have a choice in February – to decide if that is what you want.

POWER SECTOR VERSUS NIGERIANS: WAR DECLARED.

“A man [or group] cannot be too careful in its choice of enemies.”
Oscar Wilde, 1854-1900

I spent the whole of last year persuading people in my community that Power Distributors were slow in providing metres because they didn’t have the funds. I pleaded they be given more time. After that stupid N500m donation, I will lead the attack on DISCOS from now on.

THANKS FOR STAYING WITH US IN 2014.

I received more Yuletide greetings than I could possibly acknowledge one by one. As usual, I thank everyone – those who agreed, and especially, those who disagreed with me, even Aribisala, on anything written last year. Have a pleasant 2015. Those who disagree and live, live to disagree another day. We shall all live. Amen.
