PoliticsRe: Winner Of 2023 Presidential Election Revealed---prophecy by oyinkel(m): 12:59pm On Nov 15, 2022
Mine was months ago, I saw this supernaturally looking beings going into a meeting room, somehow I knew they were going to decide the next president of Nigeria.

When they came out…. I approach one of them and ask how the matter went. He said, “tell Nigerians that they should go and prepare for Atiku’s presidency”.

Those of you who think Wike is being too dramatic, wait until Peter Obi loses in the coming elections and you will see real drama by the ever galant Obedient army.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Meets EU Ambassadors In Abuja (photos) by oyinkel(m): 5:31pm On Sep 01, 2022
I just read that Shettima said he will be incharge of security, and Tinubu will oversee the economy…….this is a strong revelation….it is like swapping the role of osinbajo and Buhari, that say a lot about who would be running the prospective APC administration.

Our best option at the moment is to vote the PDP, the LP party presidency is too much of a gamble. Because when someone who has an uncleared accusation of being linked to Bokoharam says he will be in charge of security, we can begin to envisage the likely outcomes

PoliticsRe: Hausa Sheikh Tells Members To Vote Atiku Because He's Fair To All Groups (Video) by oyinkel(m): 2:28pm On Aug 30, 2022
As it stands now, Peter Obi hope to obtain power by turning the masses against the political and elite class, Tinubu counsel is to leverage the advantage of incumbency, whilst playing on religious sentiments to woo the north. As for Atiku….he seem relatively too calm for someone who is probably shooting his last shot on the presidency, either he has another joker as in the PDP primaries or he has surrendered all to fate.

BTW, what is Okowa doing? he seem too obscured for a vice presidential candidate, if there is anyone who should be reaching out to Wike, it should be Okowa……abi he is just a placeholder………..what if PDP plans to run thesame ticket as in 2019 ab initio?
PoliticsRe: I Can Never Step Down For Tinubu; Power Must Remain In The North - Kwankwaso by oyinkel(m):
Sadly, this is the true position of the north; as far as they are concerned, the southern Christian have ruled the country from the inception of the present democratic dispensation (they see Umaru Musa‘s tenure as more or less GEJ‘s first term) to the start of Buhari‘s tenure. Our only hope is that they are as divided as the south in picking between Atiku and kwankwaso.

There are two extremes as we go into the election season.

Tinubu represent political extremism, where all is about the power, and caution is thrown to the wind.

Peter Obi represent the people's extreme out cry for good governance and a change of the status quo of recycled bad and corrupt leaders.

Atiku carries a fair share of both extremes.

My argument is that, should Obi win the election (and I so pray), elections, leadership, and governance in Nigeria will never be the same again, because the politicians will begin to pay more attention to the people.

O GOD of Creation, direct our noble cause!

What Tinubu and the APC did in presenting a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the presidential elections may not be against the constitution, but it is very insensitive. It's like Atiku and Kwankwaso being joined together in a ticket (if they succeed with the Muslim-Muslim ticket, they may experiment this also), no southern will vote for them(and I don't expect any Christian to vote for a Muslim-Muslim ticket).

The best thing that can happen to Nigeria right now if for INEC to disqualify APC from the presidential elections. They are too much of a distraction from what is important to us as a nation at the moment.

Save this space, APC WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Sadly, I am not in the country and I don't know if there's any provision for diaspora voting. So I will continue praying.

I don't believe though that the solutions to Nigeria's problems are embodied in elections or the emergence of a given candidate. We just need to restructure.
PoliticsRe: Atiku To Cut Short Europe Trip To Attend Osun PDP Rally by oyinkel(m):
Now that the south has been successfully divided along religio-tribal boundaries. The west may favour Tinubu because he is "our brother" and the east will rally around Obi. In addition, fanatical Muslims in the south will not mind the Muslim- Muslim tickets, but majority of christians will sentimentally cast their vote against APC.

While, many people may consider Tinubu's choice a misfire, I think otherwise. There are several reasons but three will suffice.

First, considering Buhari's religio-ethnic bias, he will must likely be in support of a Muslim-Muslim tickets, and with all the power under his control he may influence the dynamics in favour of Tinubu. Secondly, (I just got to know about this recently) there are more Muslim than christians in Nigeria (let's not talk about, how they tend to be more united in pursuit of an objective than the christians in Nigeria- as they say, "conspiracy binds them together"), if APC are able to play their religious card well, it may work out for their good. Lastly, with the votes in the christian populated south divided, the voting of the North may tilt the numbers in Tinubu's favor.

The other side to this is that, the north can decide to rally around their own, and with only a little contribution from the south, Atiku wins.

I am most awed by the optimism being displayed by the OBI-dient group. I can't imagine that anyone in Nigeria still believe the system will accommodate what is ideal. Let's join them in prayers.

As it appears, however it turns, it is a win-win for the North. As far as they are concern, southerns and Christians have ruled the country for 16 years (they consider Umaru Musa's tenure more or less as GEJ's first term in office) and it is time for them to have their hold on power.

The general call out is for all southerns and Christians in Nigeria to learn to stay untied, "every kingdom that is divided against itself cannot stand"

Happy Sunday!

PoliticsRe: Tanko Muhammad Set To Resign As Chief Justice Of Nigeria by oyinkel(m):
Let's wait for more details.

But it is not unlikely that his resignation is connected with the striking out of the case that the Federal Government and the Anthony general of the federation made against some provisions of the new electoral laws. That was the only time any other arm of government went against the executives in this administration.

In the coming days we will see a lot of infighting amongst the elites and political class. My concern though is the impacts it will have on many busybody ordinary citizens (girlfriend dumps boyfriend for not supporting Obi, man slap his wife for saying Tinubu did not go school, family divided over the rift between Atiku and Wike, bla bla...)

PoliticsPeter Obi Is Not The Solution To Nigeria's Problem by oyinkel(op): 8:31pm On Jun 18, 2022
Peter Obi is not the solution to Nigeria's problem. No single individual is.

Nigeria's problem is systemic in nature, we have no respect for the rule of law, and our first approach to law and order is to find a way around it.

With the introduction of "placeholder" as Vice president choice, Peter Obi has shown that he is no different from the average Nigerian.

When we have law, we have to abide by them, that way, we make a statement to would be violators of our laws. And that Tinubu did it, does not justify Obi's actions....He is expected to be different.

This has to stop, even Nigerians abroad, who are very law abiding, will throw caution to the wind on their return to the country.

It should stop!

The New electoral laws, have barely lasted a single election season and it already needs to be reviewed. Because going forward, any candidate can submit the name of a "placeholder" while they continue to violate deadlines. I foresee political parties even presenting "placeholder" candidates in order to create time for the resolution of internal disputes.

PoliticsRe: Full List Of PDP Panel Members Who Voted For Atiku’s Running Mate by oyinkel(m):
Until we all get it, that for these politicians, elections in Nigeria is fought on the basis of political weight and not competence, integrity, or what have you, we may not truly understand the rationale behind their choices.

For instance why on earth would APC chose Tinubu over Osinbajo? But again, the hypocrisy of those who deny our present reality is very obvious around us. Even those supporting Peter Obi, are suddenly in approval of his merger with Kwankwaso. On what moral ground would such combination stand, other than that it would increase Obi's chances of winning?

Wike may not be the best candidate for the VP slot in the interest of Nigerians, but he is certainly PDP's best pair with Atiku, in the battle for 2023.....He Just needs to tame is tongue and work on his manner going forward.

May GOD'S best win.
PoliticsRe: Atiku: The Most Pertinent Tribute To Heroes Of Democracy Is To Kick Out APC by oyinkel(m): 5:35pm On Jun 12, 2022
Atiku's chances of becoming the president of Nigeria will be positively influence by a lot of factors, but mainly by Peter Obi's candidacy.

The south will vote sentimentally for Tinubu and Peter Obi. But the north will vote objectively with the quest to remain in power.

That's the mistake we make in the south, we go into the elections with misplaced priorities. Light, education, health jobs...bla, bla bla....as far as the north is concern, grab power first, we can discuss other issues later.

That's why Sokoto's state Governor stepped down for Atiku at the primary.

When the south is ready to play politics, I will know..for now.....we watch
PoliticsRe: Wike- A Perfect VP To Atiku by oyinkel(m): 10:59am On Jun 09, 2022
From what I am seeing, the south-south is becoming more politically relevant than the south East. In this life you must know when diplomacy is your only option and advice yourself accordingly.

With the way the Ibos are going, they may not have anyone to fill the office of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in a very long time.

The performance of Ameachi and Wike at the presidential primaries of APC and PDP respectively speaks volumes.
PoliticsRe: Osinbajo As President Or Puppet? by oyinkel(m): 9:51am On Jun 07, 2022
Whether Osinbajo, Amechi, or Tinubu, the present structure of Nigeria will not offer any good to her citizens, especially those of us in the south, regardless of who becomes the president in 2023.....If you ask me, Tinubu stands a better chance of tilting things in the favor of the south, than the other southern candidates, because he is somewhat politically independent...... Nigeria is not govern by strong institutions but by powerful individuals. Sadly, that's the present reality.
PoliticsRe: Why Tinubu Was The Only One That Never Assented To Consensus During APC Screenin by oyinkel(m): 7:11pm On Jun 06, 2022
The greatest loser from the party's presidential primary would be Osinbajo, if that guy doesn't win.... Tinubu will go after him with all he's got.

The divide and rule strategy of the North is still very effective against the South, should Osinbajo stood his ground and stayed loyal to Tinubu, they would have been a force, but separately, the North can do with each of them what they please.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Is The Next President Of Your Geographical Expression ~pictures by oyinkel(m):
The truth is that any direction APC turns it will not be in their favour, Tinubu is their joker and as it stands they are in a very hard place in respect of 2023 election.

The best option would have been for Tinubu to step down and throw his weight behind Osinbajo, but since this is not the case.... It is a win win for the north.

If APC manage to elect another candidate as their party flagbearer (Other than Tinubu), the possibility of Tinubu joining force with Atiku is very high and that would not be in the interest of APC, but it's even more dangerous for most of the political elites in APC because they have a lot of stake in Lagos state and Tinubu doesn't seem like a person who won't take revenge.

So the best option for the North is to allow Tinubu win the APC presidential ticket and work against him in the general elections, low key. They would have achieve two things, by securing the power in the north and not offending a powerful ally of the south.

My take is that Tinubu will win the primary election but not the presidential election.
