I used awaiting result but upon getting to jamb office they said they're not accepting it anymore I couldn't get captured that's how I wasted money for registration or is anything can be done?

JAMB announces new deadline for 2023 Direct Entry sales of ePIN and registration; The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently set a revised deadline for the sale of e-PIN and registration for 2023 Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

As per the announcement made by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the sale of e-PINs will conclude on Saturday, 26th May, while the registration process for those who have acquired the e-PIN will end on Tuesday, 30th May. This extension was granted to accommodate all interested candidates who wish to register for the 2023 DE examination, which commenced in February.

In the meantime, JAMB has taken steps to expand the registration areas in Lagos, aiming to accommodate a larger number of candidates prior to the new closing date. The Board urges all genuine aspiring Direct Entry (DE) candidates who have not yet registered to ensure they complete the registration process before the revised deadline, as no further extensions will be granted.

The spokesperson of JAMB mentioned that registration has been largely concluded in other locations, with the exception of Lagos, where a number of outstanding candidates are still required to visit the board’s offices for registration. To prevent overcrowding, the board has implemented a scheduling system that assigns specific days for DE registration for each candidate.

Additionally, JAMB has established registration access points at the ETC/JKK centre to ensure that all eligible candidates in Lagos can complete their registration. Candidates in Lagos are advised to either visit the JAMB office in Ikoyi for registration or proceed to ETC/JKK on Ikorodu Road, Anthony, to register before the closing date.
