Seems VFS has reviewed the 1 way postage back to the original 18k. (the website says updated on July 10th, but still no option for pick up. How will an applicant send evidence of payment for the postage? What reference will be used while paying: name or tracking ID? Thanks |
Hello everyone. For Vetassess, is Notification of Result Letter or To Whom it May Concern Letter acceptable, in place of degree certificate? WES allows this but I'm looking for evidence that Vetassess would accept it also. Also, If you or someone you know has done this successfully, please let me know how you went about it (especially the certified true copy aspect) Thanks |
If you have a BSc in Civil Engineering (Construction Management or Building may also be considered, I've heard), then you can check if your job duties match NOC0711. If it does, try SINP. You need to get ECA for your BSc if you're going this route. 2131 is a regulated profession, so you can't apply to SINP with this NOC without clearance from APEGS vavavoom10: |
Good day all. I have 2 questions please: 1. Please is there a difference between these documents: a. Statement of Result/Marks b. Unofficial Transcript. 2. Has anyone submitted a Statement of results/marks in place of Unofficial Transcript without issues? Thank you. |
I noticed that the pool score distribution hasn't really changed, after the 27,000 CEC and other PNP & CEC draws. What exactly is happening? Thought I'd see a significant drop in the values. Or are we to believe about 30k people have entered the pool since the January draws? Or many are still in the pool after rejecting ITA? I'm so tired of waiting. Hoping for a miracle FSW draw soonest. |
I paid for WES via Western Union. Unlike with card payment when you click pay with WU, you get your reference code immediately. You also get a Western Union Code which starts with ECA after filling in the details on the page WES redirects you to. Print a copy of the WU payment instructions document and take to your bank. This is what you'll use to fill the Int'l Forex Transfer Slip and also attach it your transfer form when done. Ensure the Payment reference ECA is clearly stated, that's what WU will use to know who is paying for what. Note that after payment, your WES account may show that you have outstanding payment, due to exchange rate fluctuations. This is usually around $3 and you can use your ₦master/visa card to sort this out on WES web page. The Tx reflected in my WES account after about 2 business days. Note: this payment should be made from a Dom account, as my bank does not collect $cash for such Tx. Also, the funds were inflow, not cash lodged into Dom account. Dunno if this would affect use of funds. RealVictor: |
I'll suggest IELTS Liz . Watch ALL the videos on her website, and attempt ALL the practice questions. It is a treasure trove. For Speaking and Writing, your second attempt was okay, so maintain status quo or try to improve on it with coaching. saskatoonguy: |
So I'm quite new in this PR journey, and the posts here keep me very informed and entertained. But some of the terms and abbreviations have me confused. Like ADR, BIL, MEP ![]() Is there a glossary or compendium of abbreviations, that can explain what these mean? Thanks {meanwhile, this CEC 75 shocker |
Thank you, this was very re-assuring. Will do as advised. The 3 months for evaluation though, why did it take that long, if the transcript got to WES in 2 weeks? Was that due to posting your hard copy from Nigeria? or other reasons Rhuth: |
Hello NLers I am about to order my transcript to WES from Unilag. I've logged into the portal, and everything seems fine. The issue is the WES request form that is to be included with the transcript. How do I do this? I figured the Ref Number can be typed in the address section, in brackets, but not sure if this would work out. But I would like to knw your experience with this and how you sorted out the Number/Form issue. Also, I would appreciate the phone number of a Unilag Senate/Registry contact who can expedite action on transcript request. I've been reading stories of it taking MONTHS for WES to receive docs. (apologies if this has been asked & answered before. I did a word search, but came up short) |
Canadahome:Thanks for your response. I've also done a bit of further reading and seen that i need course by course evaluation, not just a general ECA. Have there been instances where a Nigerian engineering degree "failed" the course by course ECA? I graduated a while ago, worried my course content may not be relevant today in Canadian equivalence. Any advice on this please? |
Hello all. I am confused about my WES verification. I have a B.Sc in Civil Engineering and M.Sc in Environmental Management. I have worked for the past 5 years as a Civil Engineer, and I'm using Civil Engineering as my NOC. Should I verify both degrees, to be on the safe side, since the M.Sc is not related to my job function? I wouldn't want a case where my PNP is delayed because the province needs evidence of my B.SC, since Engineering is a regulated profession. (any one with a similar situation, esp with a regulated NOC can please share their experience) (I modified the post, and added a screenshot from a SINP, showing that work experience vs education). Thank you
