Chai! The reverse is the case for my older bro, he's enjoying his marriage although, in the beginning it was quite rough.
Hopefully, your brother's own will get better eventually.

Pastor dey fu*k wife wey him recommend for my brother what do you call that? even if i agree that life is a dice, in this generation i dont expect a full grown man to think of getting recommendation for a wife.

It has nothing to do with marrying a virgin. If you're not doing it well, you're not doing it well.

It will definitely play a key role for sure

One of the greatest gift a man can get is marrying a virgin at her young age, most of these women are nothing but olosho before they were forced to retire from public service to private service grin

Another reason our law should be amended with immediate effect

I totally agree, this imunity is the reason Governors are like demigod in their state, they conduct LGA election the sitting governor political party win all seat, they go after opposition politicians with instrument of the state....the immunity is just a way of protecting themselves.

Politics / Kogi: Gov Ododo misused his immunity to protect Yahaya Bello - Oshiomhole by OZIOGU1: 4:04pm On Apr 29
Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole has accused Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State of using his immunity to cover his predecessor, Yahaya Bello.

He said Ododo wrongly used his immunity by prevent the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from arresting Bello.

EFCC had accused Bello of money laundering and corruption to the tune of N80.2 billion.

As part of its ongoing investigation, the anti-graft agency had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja, in an attempt to arrest him.

But Ododo subsequently arrived at Bello’s residence and prevented the anti-graft agency from picking his former boss.

EFCC later declared Bello’s whereabouts unknown while placing him on a watchlist.

Amid the drama, the Kogi High Court ruled against the EFCC’s attempt to arrest Bello in a fundamental rights enforcement suit.

However, Oshiomhole said Ododo’s “rescue” of Bello and the former governor’s refusal to show up in court, constitutes a breach of the law.

Oshiomhole spoke at the ‘Revisiting the national question: Nigeria’s elusive search for national integration’ international conference organised by the Kukah Centre.

He said: “If you are afraid, given the fact that you are very vocal, you are independent, you cannot be dismissed, you cannot be promoted or demoted.

“If you are afraid to mention the name of a former governor who breached the law and a sitting governor who used his immunity to cover a governor that lost immunity, where will the courage come from?

“This sophistry of saying we can name the child of a poor man who steal(s) a goat but we are afraid to mention the name of a big man who breached the law, that for me is at the root of our problems.”

Bavarian police said in a statement that the gang was involved internationally in “multiple areas of criminal activity”, with a focus in Germany on dating scams and money-laundering.

The police said that the dating trick was a modern form of marriage fraud.

“Using false identities, the fraudsters for example signalled their intention to marry and in the course of further contact repeatedly demand money under various pretexts,” the police said.

The police added that the money was subsequently transferred to in Nigeria via financial agents.

Explaining further, the German Police said the gang used a “commodity-based money laundering” scheme where products, often with a seeming “charitable purpose”, were bought and delivered to Nigeria. https://dailypost.ng/2024/04/24/dating-scam-german-police-arrest-11-nigerians/

MuslimIgbo:

Most of you just lack wisdom and common sense.
What guarantees anything in this life?
The point we're just trying to make is that, people's past matters a lot and it tells a lot about their personality.
As dull as you are now, you will never employ a male sex offender or rapist as a nanny for your female child or to babysit? You wouldn't say it doesn't matter even if the person tells you that he has repented.
Virginity doesn't not guarantee that your partner will be forever loyal, at least those oloshos were once virgins.
The only guarantee you have with virgins is that, they have less tendency to be misbehaving in terms of cheating or 4k around unlike those oloshos with +2 BODYCOUNT.
It takes a lot be a virgin in this generation, especially if one is mature and good looking, so for someone to have kept their virginity, that person must have some good level of dignity and morals.

Baba they are finding it difficult to understand you even with different examples you are giving, just save your energy bro.

First off, may God continue to bless you as you have chosen to bless the less fortunate.

Unfortunately, this is Nigeria, the more you help, the more shameless people are.

My niece graduated last year, I know her parents are struggling and as I have occasionally helped through her mum during her time at university.

I sent her graduation money because I was happy for her.

The next thing I know, she asked me money for Christmas, then immediately followed it by sending her back account number when I ignored her text.

She didn't ask for money to start a business or something sensible, it is money for Christmas she asked for.

Back to you, I urge you to ignore the serial beggars, sadly in my experience they won't go away, but not to stop helping others.

Yoi have done no wrong.

Thanks Man, you know the truth is that nobody wishes to beg the other person, but in as much as i you are making effort, sense of entitlement should not come in, but in our context here, they make it look that way.

It's quite understandable... People tend to push too hard.
However, let not the pressure of these people stop what you feel you're obliged to do.
You can't satisfy the whole world at the same time

Honestly is annoying...My problem is even those coming back to ask bros how far make i send my Aza again?
Crime / Stop The Embarrasment by OZIOGU1: 12:42pm On Apr 04
Good morning my fellow NL members,

Sometimes this year, i said to my self that their are those with genuine needs on this forum even though the forum is polluted with fake people with different monikers, i took time to always monitor threads with a tune of seeking help from here, i will comment and ask the person to PM and what ever i could support i will, remember i am not talking of offering millions of Naira in help here, is just a little token which can help for your urgent need, i am a humanitarian and i know what hardship can cause sometimes....

Alhamdulillah, i started in February, i identify some few people here and just to randomly bless them without knowing whether they are real or fake, but i want to believe they are real, my religion forbids passing judgement without evidence, as at the last update i have on my excel sheet, by yesterday 3rd April 2024, i have blessed 15people on this forum, not by my power but, my religious teachings taught me to extend arms to those you believe needs it.

Now my problem is that, this is becoming embarrassing waking up to see messages on my mail and PM, asking for money from some of those i have supported before and even new people, even when i pleaded that pls, i will get back to them, they wont stop....pls guys stop and i have also stop whatever i started, there are people on the street who can also benefit this.....mind you i have screenshot of some of your messages and receipt for all transaction is still on my system before i will be accused of fake story....I beg you guys in the name of God to stop, i started it and i hve decided to end it....This may not be the right place to post it but, hopefully some of you will see it.
