Dont blame government for North's illiteracy though it has some certains vital to play but it provides schools, most of our states are on free Education from primary to secondary for boys and from primary to tertiary institution for girls. What do you exactly want from government? And mind you never believe with Media the illiteracy is not much as your thought
the chunk of the blame should be on the northern government... Yea, they are trying but alot still has to be done. if the south could be more pro education why can't the north cue inhuh they should try more to make education more acceptable in that region. they are trying but a lot still has to be done.

Education is a thing of choice...so, the op might be right after all.
ok Let's. accept that education is a thing of choice... Then, a little child that has never been to school should be allowed to make the choices of wanting to go to school or not. those northern almajiris never got the chance to know the importance of education thus there leaders should be blamed for it. To me, I will assess corruption based on educational preferences By a state rather than infrastructural development. The worst form of corruption is depriving people the opportunity to know about themselves, environment and the supreme being. the only thing that can offer those is education.

i think you need to go back to school and learn what corruption is. The rate of corruption in the north is very low compare to Southern states. I'm from Jigawa and guess what? Every local government is fighting for the Infrastructure. When contract is awarded all eyes will be on the contract to be finished without wasting time and contract must last long. The problem in the north is illiteracy and lack of social tolerances
Mr over sabi, I'm done!!! to me, the highest form of corruption one can subject me to is making me to be an illiterate because By doing so, He's taken all from me.

Are you sure you read the article at all? Please do, for your own good.

Just to reiterate a major point, Nigeria is CORRUPT! No State is free of it. Some States show it more than some hence the need for this opinionated list.

Northern States are corrupt like every other state in Nigeria and I have indicated a few of them in my list if you read it at all.

Also take note that poverty is high in the North and it fundamentally has more to do with illiteracy, religious fanaticism and established social orders than blatant corruption.
Yea, I read your post and my stand still remain that the northern states should top the list. if "illiteracy, religious fanaticism and established social orders" aren't the highest form of corruption I wonder wht corruption is.
PoliticsRe: Opinion: Most Corrupt States In Nigeria by ozoebuka1(m): 10:06pm On Mar 03, 2017
this op sef... if northern states ain't.the most corrupt, why are those states in the north synonymous with poverty & oozing of poorest Nigerian citizens and her elites the richest Nigerian citizenshuh huh

Hello Good day all

I write to let you all know of what I faced on LIS which was launched on November, 2016 y'all know Linda Ikeji promise to give away 1m price to the first 50 registered members who reaches 100followers in the space of 1week from the launching day. Luckily I was one of the winner which my name was included on the list.

A week later people wallets was credited with 20k which mine wasn't so. After some days which I discovered this I contacted Linda Ikeji to report the issues of wallet not credited. Good to say, the wallet was credited and I was told to request for payment which I did immediately but since December 21 I requested for payment till today I haven't seen any alert from LIS, what's is going on? Is it that have just been scammed.

See photos of wallet and payment request below.

PoliticsRe: Did Chief Obafemi Awolowo See This Coming? by ozoebuka1(m): 11:37am On Mar 01, 2017
Businessideas:
It's he who alleges who must provide the proof. So if Awo had denied all the negative stories against him and no single person could provide the proof of their allegations,it is fair to say that Awo is truly innocent. Another thing is that, these falsehoods didn't emanate from the ordinary Igbo man,it is from the mischievous Igbo politicians who saw Awo as a political threat.
Now to the koko, the fact that political power landed in the household of Awolowo doesn't diminish the successful careers of Awolowo descendants or some of the members of those great men I mentioned. Even his son,Segun Awolowo, who died on his way to defending Awolowo during his trumped up treasonable felony charge, was a successful practicing lawyer as at then. So the symbolic thing is that,Awo who was the rejected stone, derided and ridiculed, became vindicated and his household became the corner piece. That is the lesson I can never miss to bring to your attention.
I look at all the lives of those lying against Awo I know and compared their lives to Awo's life and I suddenly realized that Awo towers far above them in integrity, discipline and dedication to service.
You got my attention when you erroneously assumed that only awolowo's children are doing better in today's Nigeria when compared to other "great" Nigerian politicians... I just want u to know that your assumptions are wrong. Your opinion about awolowo is not my problem and concern... I won't quote u again tho'. #peace.
PoliticsRe: Did Chief Obafemi Awolowo See This Coming? by ozoebuka1(m): 11:19am On Mar 01, 2017
Businessideas:
It's not clear to you so let me explain once again.
These are his contemporaries and most of these guys were the ones who oppressed him politically but the fact that despite Awo's suffering in their hands, divine arrangement of power passed over their households and landed in the household of Awolowo.
That's the food for thought.
The hard truth is even that some of the lies against Awo were fabricated against him by some of the people on that list
firstly, the descendants of those u listed above are doing better than u think, the fact that u don't know them doesn't prove otherwise. secondly if all the bad things said about awo were false I believe By now, facts would've been laid to vindicate him. if u ask me, he's guilty as charged until proven otherwise By facts and not By propaganda... my opinion tho'
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo To Nigerian Youths – What Will Your Generation Do For Nigeria? by ozoebuka1(m): 11:12am On Mar 01, 2017
He lacks the moral justification to ask such a question... in fact, all the past Nigerian leaders inclusive!!! they all represent; pain, corruption, death, war etc. BS... there's no unity in Nigeria so, his generation achieved Nothing positive, the only positive thing they achieved was to enrich themselves in such a way that their great grandchildren will never be poor again...I'm so pissed right now angry
