Toyota Corolla 2005 price for tokumbo is between 1.8m-2.0m (million). For him to add 1.5m is very high but he gave you a good number of months to repay.
Analysing it all it is not a good deal. Unless you don't have cash for down payment which would have been good for u to negotiate the price for 3m.

My advice...make it 25k and they will rush u. The stress in manual will make drivers pick and later drop ur car if they see Camry automatic for 30k.

Avalon is not, I repeat not a good idea for the business of taxify/Uber due to fuel consumption. Avalon indeed looks good but will not look good putting the money rightly in you pocket. With 1.6m you can get a Corolla or Hyundai. And I don't think Honda cars are better option. Go for Toyota or Hyundai product.

Good... Let me advice you here. Getting a car onwer is good but there are many evil people around that will wan you to fail. If you have 800... Get a loan and complete it. Some loan company can strike a better deal with you than getting bad people. I too need a car for hire purchase but I am also scared of bad people. Nigerian used cars are not bad but getting a good one is difficult. But if I have to chiose. I will strongly get a loan spread it for one year payment that will allow me to to 70 or 80k a month. Well let me say that I'm writing this piece on behalf of my brother, who is an uber/taxify driver, who needs an urgent help from one God sent nairalander to help him find his feet after he lost his job some years back.

He has been driving for partners for quite sometime and he has been able to raise like 800 thousand naira to get his own personal car.

He came to me if I can help him get a good naija used big daddy, which I advised him against buying any naija used car, especially big daddy. He should rather buy a tokunbo car that will give a level of confidence and rest of mind.

A tokunbo Toyota camry 2004/2004 model cost around 1.5 and 1.8, but luckily we got a good deal for 1.4.

What we need is someone who can help him raise the balance to pay quickly for the ride, to avoid any temptation to spend this money.
Repayment method with interest will be discussed and guarantors provided to further prove sincerity. Also, The said car will be registered in the name of whoever is ready to support this deal pending when the money plus the interest is paid in full.
