Good morning and happy Monday to you all. I am here to seek the matured advise of nairalanders. I want matured advise from people who are married please.

I recently got married and we have a little baby who is 5 months old. I love my wife and my baby, you only need to spend few hours with us before you know this fact. Unfortunately I am dying inside.

Before I got married, myself and my then girlfriend and now wife have no issues with sex. We had sex at will and it is usually fun. But ever since we got married, I have been denied sex. At first I thought I am the one who has a problem but I have asked many people ever since then and I have found out I am normal. I initially expect us to have sex every day - I am my own boss and work from home most times, but had to adjust to 3 days a week for her sake.

But even the 3 times is never existent. Sometimes once a week. And the annoying thing is not the lack of sex but the way the NO is said. Almost like "I own my body and decide when I want sex". I have only ever denied her sex 2 times since we knew each other. Both times after we got married. The first time cos I was not feeling too fine due to stress of work the second time because I wanted her to see how it feels when you get no as answer in a very disrespectful way.

I have not worked since August, because I decided to take a two months break thinking we will have time for ourselves, unfortunately the reverse is the case. Always an excuse not to have sex.

Secondly, I am the type who likes early breakfast. I ideally want break fast before 8am but cos of her, I shifted it to 9am but as I type this, it is 10:48am and my break fast is not ready. And this is not a one off, but almost an every day thing. And each time I bring it up, it leads to fight and keeping malice. What do I do? I hate malice, I prefer to die than to keep malice with someone but my wife seems to use this tool against me. Keeping malice is my greatest weak point. I just hate it.

Note - she is not working. I have a building project costing us over 20 million naira which has made us decide she should not work till we finish early next year. Aside the baby, no other work and even with the baby, she has as many as 3 people helping her - her sister, her little brother and a family friend of hers.

Hello all, please I need your candid opinion on how to calm my friend down cos she's been misbehaving since she checked her result after it was pasted that she made 2.2 which is far below her expectations.

She claimed she has been cheated cos at at 300L, she was on 2.1(3.87/5.00), their 400L results were not made known to them till they released the graduating list. Now she is downcast and has been behaving funny like she's about to go mad.

I tried talking to her that she's not done bad and besides it doesn't matter what you graduate with, that is God who favors one out there in the Labour market.... I have heard of first class and 2.1 roaming the street with no job.....

Though am not new on nairaland and this is not my main handle but I need to hide my identity for some reason best known to me.
Pls I need mature advise from elderly people on this section. I married this man 6 yrs ago and God gave us a very handsome baby who is 5yrz old now. Some month after our wedding, I noticed that he spent more time on Fb but I was not bothered because of my condition(i got pregnant immediately after our wedding). Atimes I will beg him to make love to me but he will refuse and am not ugly at all. Though before we got married, he promise to send me back to school cos I told him he should allow me to go and complete my hnd and he said I will go to school from his house. So like 4 months ago, I opened his phone while he was sleeping and I wanted to download a worship song I heard in the church, a message came him from his girlfriend and that is when I opened his facebook inbox and what I saw shocked me. Imagine this man pleading and begging for sex from different women. I counted about 5 different women with different account, and this is a man that won't touch me foe 2weeks and even when he do he won't last more than 5mins. I have asked God several times why he gave me such man.
Early this year I told him I love interior decoration and he should give me money to go and acquire the skill, he didn't give me. My parent are poor and I have no where to run to. The only thing that still give me joy is my son, atimes I feel so useless and empty. I dnt love this man again cos he doesn't deserve My Love. I just want to move on with my life cos life is very short and i want to be happy for the rest of my life. Just advise me in your own way and I promise I will listen God bless you

Is it okay for a married couple to draw up a time table for having sex?

My wife is complaining that I disturb her every day and that she can no longer cope. She has insisted that we come up with a time table of two days in every week and stick to it. This means she is ready to give me sex only twice a week.

Firstly I don't know the real sickness and precise age of your daughter but one thing you must know is it is not good for a wife to have too much free time as it is a veritable devils workshop you ought to ensure she is working; open a shop for her or impregnate her so she continue baby nursing,

Now to your findings first of all copy it somewhere else like your phone and then confront her with it, play everything to her hearing, pause at intervals to ask her what you've done wrong, please don't be aggressive or angry; control your emotions. Ask her what she has to say.

Let her know it is betrayal, threaten her you will summon a family meeting of both family and see her reaction.
If or not she apologies don't tell anybody either your family or her. NEVER.. It must not come from your mouth.
But make a stand none of her family members should have your respect. They must never come to your house. Don't give reasons, don't pick or answer their calls until you see full repentance in her. which must be after like a year. .it is her family that must bear the brunt and punishment Nothing more

Don't divorce her she is your wife, folly is in the mind of a woman. I know it will definitely leave a scar in your relationship, forgive her still and try to let go, call her from work and be a good father and husband.
