You have a point in that although he has some speed, he is not very mobile in his link up and general game play. However i hear he has a 20 million Euro release clause, so it won't be big money. Hwang his strike partner appears to be more integral to the way the team plays.

I think Greenwood is more mobile and can beat his man. Haaland's pressing upfront is quite poor.

Favorable results for us last night, I hope we maintain this momentum going foward. Aside Man city's game, other December fixtures are quite winnable if we play well. January transfers of Haaland and Bruno should be a must for Woody and Ole. To avoid FFP, we can get Haaland(or any other striker) on loan and spend on Bruno, we can make the striker's deal permanent next summer. We can also splash the cash on another winger and midfielder while developing the likes of Levitte, Garner, Hamilton and co.

We've been looking for the player that will unlock Pogba, we've tried a number of midfield players and none did. Mourinho unconsiously got one and we are gonna let Pogba go? What if Fred is the player we've been looking for??

Yes we don't have 11 world class players in addition to the injuries that have affected the team badly. What we expect are players that go to the pitch and play for the fans/club or at the least for their wages.

Play your hearts out because this is MANCHESTER UNITED!! The earlier we identify potential world class players who are ready to die playing for this club and recruit them, the better and weed out some dead woods off this club. Fred is becoming a beast!!

Successive coaches have come and gone but none of them deemed it fit to replace the players thus your argument is faulty. Pep has discarded a lot of average players at City. Klopp has done same in Liverpool but our coaches don't seem to think it's the players fault. Isn't it logical to blame the coaches then?

It's largely the players fault. We have a good number of grossly average players in the team that can't adhere to simple instructions or lose concentration easily.

That looks exciting.

If Martial goes on his customary injury or disinterested run, the other two can pick up the mantle.

It only remains if we’ll have a playing system that can unlock packed defenses as well as kill them with counters. Greenwood for one can play in both systems, he just needs to develop his physical side. Don’t know about Martial and Haaland.

We still need at least one experienced winger or midfield player though.

Haaland looks exactly Ole's kind of player, quick feets, good in aerial battles, can play across the front three and an eye for goal. Looks strong too but don't know if he's a match for the EPL aggressive type of soccer. We will see if we do get him.

That is why some months ago i expressed my surprise at the fact that he appeared to have been overlooked with all the hype going to the usual suspects (Greenwood, Gomes, Chong, Garner).

In terms of passing he is the best of the lot, and to be honest i expected more from him yesterday.
He showed his press resistance and possession play ability but he didn’t really show his long range passing ability (maybe because Astana sat so deep most of the time).

Like Rashford and McTominay (who were not really hyped at youth level) have shown us, it is hard to predict which youth player will make it to the senior team. With so many potential players with this set though it will be a travesty if none of them does.

Levitte was really impressive alongside Garner. Hopefully the duo alongside Hamilton will form the nucleus of our midfield together with Pogba, Mctom and Fred. There's hope for our midfield. Now, we need to acquire Haaland and perhaps Fernandez and United will be formidable once more.

We have to do away with unintelligent players like Jones, Pereira, Lingard and some injury proned ones like Bailly and Rojo.. We need more players in the attacking third, ease in Midfield players like Hamilton, Garner, Levitte into the team gradually.
