Lorayne: Ok... I want to go into writing but I've never written anything before.... any tips, books on writing you can recommend to a total beginner? I just realized now that I didn't reply you. I'm sorry. Well, it would depend on the type of writing you want to do. Is it fiction or nonfiction? |

Lorayne: pabon...,.. how much do you earn monthly on average with writing? I do different kinds of writing. So, I can't really put it at any given average. |

iLegendd: I have written lots of books on different topics, but don't advertise most.
In Nigeria, there are only 2 types of books most can buy easily
1. Relationship/sex books 2. Make money books
So, I promote only what the market I'm targeting wants. Giving people too many options is bad, so I curtail my ads to what the geographical location needs the most than trying to bombard them with everything and end up with nothing. Noted. More of these information, please. |

iLegendd: Raycelove, I get you. People always tell me how they have so much respect for me when they need me to guide them on something and when I don't comply, they use another moniker to abuse me.
I do feel used or I feel a lot of Nairalanders are fake and abusive when things don't go their way. They'll compliment you and praise you when they need a favor, but abuse you afterwards. I no longer have the passion to even reply most people or even lend a helping hand.
I prefer doing all those things to people I know offline.
My sincere apologies. Just use Google and YouTube and you'll be fine, sir. You've done enough without you even knowing. Just sifting through your posts can teach people a lot. Sometimes you it's that extra effort that people lack. If there's one thing I've learned recently, it's that almost anything can be gotten online. When we pay for mentors, we are actually paying for the the time they help us save. Mentors shorten the learning curve. If one doesn't have the money, then they should have the time to go through the task of sifting the wheat from the shaft (the internet is a never-ending resource of information. Go figure!) Sometime ago, I needed a course on self publishing. I didn't have the money for it but wanted the information so bad. I had to dig deep. Eventually, I found everything I was looking for and even more. There's no limitation to the man who doesn't see impossibilities. |

sEGXY2: I have 2 urgent questions. I have been writing and publishing for the last few months and sales didn't pick up then I changed niche to fiction shorts and my dashboard has become busier. The thing now is the two books I published in my new niche got one bad review each over grammar. people are still reading the books but no sales. I've corrected the grammar mistakes and reuploaded it. Please what else can I do make it gain traction again and hope the bad reviews won't affect the pen name?
eliok obamartins What genre of fiction, please? |

It's commendable. I was beginning to wonder about the increasing number of mad people on the streets. I began to ask if there was a correlation between hunger and madness. It's well. If only they could get the ones who dress well and live in completed houses with no one suspecting their mental state. Some even occupy leadership positions. The truth? Many are mad, but few are roaming. |
