If you are not an idiot . A stagnant economy can easily be over taken..it will only the population are not productive enough to spur the growth....All things fair and square, GHANA economy at 7.6 growth with Nigeria at 1 percent growth is serious race. First Ghana will increased it GDP per capital if the population growth remain stable and that will double that of Nigeria in the next three years . Gross domestic product may talk a bit more than 15 years to meet . that is if a stagnant economy remain for Nigeria which hardly it is possible.

what don't you understand pls? can I know. Nigeria has GDP worth of 440 billion dollar in 2019, morroco has 390 billion in 2019. the former is growing between 2.0 to 1.5. the later is growing between 2.9 to 3.0. now finish the calculation if the trend continue for five years that way.

I've said it before and I'll repeat: RSA looks good in SSA. In the real world among even 2nd world nations like Brazil, Mexico or Thailand it's indices; GDP per capita, longevity etc, etc are typically African.
Also RSA had an earlier headstart in manufacturing and hi tech industries; check out their arms industry, and should be doing better.
If you're capable look at the WB Human Capacity Index to see their educational outcome. They outspend us like 2.5x yet their keeping company with you at the bottom of the educational assessment table.
If our growth continues and RSA continues to stagnate I'll happily start a new thread in 2030 discussing them.

We need some historical perspective-imo,it comes from slave trade(btw,it was HUGELY EXAGGERATED,most blacks came from Europe,losers of the religious wars and others were indig Americans but there was a long running W African slave trade)In a way I don't blame Ghanaians-on the surface they were better than Naij but share the same sociocultural DNA with everyone else in WA:an extremely unfortunate warping from centuries of slave trade. Basically they all learned the wrong things,the Beninese,Togolese,Ivoriennes,Senegalese,Gambians.Cameroonians,Gabonese etc,etc. They cursed themselves for generations learning how to make money without development in the easiest way capturing and selling fellow men. That's why til today their stagnant and/or take refuge in make believe like Katanka/Innoson and the BS we've seen here. That's why in the entire WA there's no dairy industry!? HTF does that even happen. 300 mn people don't produce their own milk,Kenyans! Its why they don't understand the basic foundation of development. It's why trust level,critical for any business is so low.
It explains why there are such strict hierarchies throughout WA and why commoners are obedient unto death to their rulers.
It's why there is a callousness,a contempt for human life itself commonly seen worsened in highly populated nations like Naij as the resource struggle is ofc that much harder.
Why is juju,gris gris and voodoo so much stronger in Naij, Benin and Liberia not Malawi or Zim'?
Tbh , until a regional acknowledgement for responsibility for the slave trade happens there'll be no release from the negative karmic energy holding WA hostage.
