abayomi93: op wen u say 5credits,Wat ar the subject ur refering to?Well, In Nigeria, for instance, if you are science oriented, you go for science course in university. but here in India, having a science orientation is just an added advantage. my advice is, have credit in math and english then if you are science student, 3 more subject and art student ( only applicable in some university) as well |
Mucokey: Incisively interesting...Thanks buddy!!! |
Got emails from nairalanders who declared intention to study computer science, Information Technology and Computer Engineering in India, so i decided to share this. To come over here is not as hard as you think. firstly, you have to ensure you have 5 credit minimum in your waec or neco exams. you Don't need any entrance examination. There are a lot of schools offering Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering. These course are 3years, only the engineering may be 4years in some schools. studying in these schools depends on your budget. India has schools for the poor and the rich, so its all in your advantage which to choose. Getting a visa to India is the easiest thing one could ever think of. once you have your admission letter at hand from Indian college/university your visa is sure. It didn't take me days before my visa was secured. but one thing about Nigerians is that anything that has to do with traveling abroad is a huge task and involves huge amount of money. but let me surprise you brother. visa is just $77 approximately 13k depending on dollar exchange rate. you can see what i mean now. Getting admission letter depends on the school modus operandi. but majority of Indian universities will grant foreigners provision letter when you fulfill their mark-sheet requirement (waec grades) for the purpose of getting visa in your home country. In some schools, application fees are requested before admission letter can be issued and others ensures that the student pays for one full year before admission can be granted, Don't let that border you at all. you can go for schools that accept application fee token if you are scared of not getting admitted. but I will advise you remove that thoughts totally when it comes to foreign affairs. Finally, flights to India isn't really expensive. some airline can get as low as 160k for a two way ticket. so make a better plan and in 3 weeks minimum, you will be in India. |

kobonaire: what's the lady scene like in a typical Indian computer science class? Body no beMy brother you can be lucky and find a girl that like you. but dont come with that mindset bro. Indians are good on romance but not the nigerian type of romance. (you know what i mean) they are good on flower romance and post cards...lol, you can also run things outside the class with none students. best of luck |

Gov. Okpabio's best kept secret finally Uncovered;the 36,000 seater Olympic size stadium under construction. Some have called it, "the diamond ring stadium"(because of the unique diamond shapes on its circular sheath).others call it, "Ibom stadium”, while others have started calling it "the Gov Akpabio Olympic stadium". No doubt when it is completed before May 2014, it will be a national/international asset towards sports development in sub Saharan Africa. It is estimated it will create actual/ allied employment for over 3,000 people with an additional 9 figure financial injection into the local economy, through the hosting of national / international sporting and entertainment events all year round. The stadium is the first part of the project. There are plans for a world class sports academy and a games village hosting different kinds of sports with Olympic size sporting facilities. Visionary leadership

Mutab4u: What is the procedure? The procedure is not complicated. get your documents (waec or neco, date of birth, local government of origin, first school leaving certificate, passport photograph, and travel passport) scanned and emailed to me. these documents will be printed and taken to school for an offer letter which you will use to apply for a visa. |
Experience is the best teacher. yet there are folk who has experience but just refuse to let others suffering know how to start. Education in india is easy and qualitative. Indians believe so much in Skills and ability. to gain admission into their university isn't a big deal provided you have 10+2 (waec neco or GCE) your orientation doesn't matter as far as i know. the minimum credit is 5. The fees isn't much. its really affordable. almost like what some state universities in Nigeria are paying for a semester. if you have interest on this, just contact me and i will help you to the peak. ask me any question on this and i will answer you respectively |
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MA GREAT STATE
